“We got to come home to a happy dog after Kristina’s drop by visit with Chunk for some outdoor play time, potty break, and meal time. Very satisfied with her service and great communication.”

“We had Rhondee drop in our dog while we were away and we came home and all was well and great with our dog Cajun. Rhondee was able to accommodate the drop in times that we requested, which was much appreciated! Would certainly recommend to anyone else!”

“McKenna was great with my kitty! Dropped in for 3 visits while out of town, always got great photos and updates. Will definitely book with her again for all future trips!”

About: I've been a lifelong animal lover and currently care for my two beloved cats, Leo and Bella. They have taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each pet's unique personality. I know how much pets mean to their families, and I will treat yours with the same love and care I give my own. I am dependable, responsible, and committed to making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. I currently work full-time in hospitality, but I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable pet care before or after work and on my days off. I'll always communicate my availability in advance and make sure your pet receives the attention, love, and care they deserve. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions (if needed), and any special requests. I'll keep your home clean and secure and send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you're away. As a proud cat mom to Leo and Bella, I understand how important it is to care for every pet with patience, kindness, and respect.
About: I have grown up with animals my whole life. I am an animal lover and love to meet little friends. I have always been around both dogs and cats and know how hard it can be to leave them when going on trips, working, etc. I tend to be the person to babysit or drop in on friends and family’s pets when they’re away. I work Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM. My evenings are free after work. Weekend days I am available most of the day when I am scheduled to care for pets. I can feed, bath, walk, and clean up after dogs and cats. I am open to cleaning a litter box and any accidents that may happen in a home.
“Julie did an awesome job! She bonded quickly with our dogs and provided great service. The summaries of her visits were so cute and she took plenty of pics (5-7 per visit!). She even took our trash out which we didn’t request. Everything is in their place and our fur babies, while happier are home, are calm and, from their mellowness, can tell they were well taken care of! Thanks so much Julie.”
About: I’ve taken care of my neighbours dogs since my sophomore year of highschool and I’ve walked and fed them mostly at their own house. I’ve taken care of a lot of aggressive dogs in the past I’m currently going to community college and mostly do side jobs. Im currently on summer break so right now my schedule is very flexible and open I’m able to drive to my clients house and feed, let their dog outside and even walk them. I also like to spend a little extra time playing with them.
About: Caring for animals comes naturally to me. I have lifelong experience with both dogs and cats, including pets with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m dependable, patient, and always focused on making pets and their feel happy and secure. I know how it feels to be worried about your fur baby while you are away and I’m here to help! I work part-time, mainly mornings until around 3:30, leaving early mornings, afternoons, and evenings wide open. Outside of work, I’m fully committed to your pet’s care, offering flexible availability and devoted attention whenever you need. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special needs. I’m patient, responsible, and experienced with both calm pets and pets that may need extra care or attention.

“My pets loved Lucy (even my feral cat)! They didn't even care I was away. Highly recommend her :) She kept me updated my entire trip with pictures of them chilling and looking relaxed.”
“Don has been great with our 2 dogs. He has boarded them several times and lately has been dropping by our house for a couple hours when we’re out for many hours and taking the dogs for walks, swims, playtime and doing some training!”

“If you have a complicated household that involves many instructions, Shayna can handle it! Shayna took care of my two dogs for 3 days. Now, these dogs are spoiled and old, so they have a routine – and on top of it all, need to go out frequently for breaks. Fortunately Shayna lives only a couple of miles away and was able to let these two little dogs keep their routine. She visited four times per day. And each time she gave me a little update with a photo of them. Their routine with food is a bit complicated too, with both kibble and chicken and pills. I wrote out the instructions and she followed through perfectly – my dogs were not traumatized when I got home. One, just about didn’t care if I was back….the other was so happy to see me, but she’s not a dog that likes other people. That’s another thing, she was able to deal with this one dog’s head problems. She was an abused dog and she really is only our family dog. After a couple of years, she doesn’t mind the groomer. But anyway Shayna took pictures of Prim too, and she was just fine. Bottom line, don’t worry….Shayna is smart, very kind and very responsible. I will not hesitate to ask her to help us again! She will put your mind at ease that you left your fur babies at home.”

About: I care about the quality and attention that I give when taking care of pets. I used to walk 8 pugs at a time. I was known as the pug walker. I am a lecturer in communication studies and believe in clear and open communication with my clients. I promise to treat your pets as if they were my own. Kindness and compassion are a big part of my philosophy of life. I will give your pet love and my undivided attention when I care for them. I am an animal lover and love cats and dogs equally. I have always had both cats and dogs but currently do not have any pets. I look forward to hearing from you and hope that you can sense that I am a great petsitter. I am currently working part time and have a great deal of flexibility for taking extra special care of your fur babies. I love spending time with all kinds of animals. I am respectful of space and treat anyone's home with care and utmost respect. I am willing to work together to create an excellent experience for everyone involved.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes since I was a young girl, and animals have always been a natural part of my life. I’ve rescued dogs throughout my adulthood and loved every breed, personality, and quirky soul that’s come my way. Even cats — despite my allergies — tend to walk right up to me, which always makes me smile. I’ll still care for them with love (and a little help from allergy meds). I’m an empath with a deep, intuitive connection to animals. Nervous, shy, senior, or sensitive pets usually relax around me quickly. I read their body language, respect their boundaries, and create a calm, predictable environment where they feel safe and understood. I also bring professional caregiving skills to my pet care. As a retired massage therapist and longtime caregiver, I can offer gentle pet massage, calming touch, and support for aging, compassionate end of life care and support or anxious dogs. I’m comfortable providing wound care, administering medications, and injections for diabetic animal when needed. What truly sets me apart is the combination of lifelong love of animals, my experience, intuition, and genuine compassion. Your pet will be cared for with patience, warmth, and the same steady presence I’ve brought to every animal I’ve loved. I create a calm, predictable environment where pets feel safe, understood, and cared for in my Home or Yours. I will respect your home, your space, your privacy and the trust you placed in me.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We can’t thank Holly enough for stepping in at the last minute to take care of our pets! She was incredibly understanding and accommodating with our sudden trip, and her communication was excellent from start to finish. We really appreciated how attentive she was to all of our pets’ needs and how she kept us updated with messages and photos—it gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Everything was perfectly handled, and our pets were clearly happy and well cared for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter!”

About: With over 11 years of hands-on cat care experience, I bring a depth of understanding that goes far beyond basic sitting. My background includes working with animal shelters, caring for energetic kittens, supporting senior cats with special routines, and raising my own three cats, each with their own unique needs and personalities. This range has taught me how to read feline behavior, adapt quickly, and provide calm, confident care in any situation. I’m especially attentive to routine, cleanliness, and emotional comfort. Whether a cat needs gentle patience, playful engagement, or quiet companionship, I tailor my care to what helps them feel safest and most at ease. I treat every cat as an individual—not a checklist—and my goal is always for pet parents to feel complete peace of mind knowing their cat is in experienced, compassionate hands. I’m a full-time pet sitter, which means your cats receive my full attention—not rushed visits squeezed around another job. My flexible schedule allows me to spend quality time with your pets, closely monitor their needs, and adjust care as needed to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I strive to maintain a peaceful, secure environment in your home so your pets feel comfortable and stress-free. From following routines to keeping your space tidy and secure, safety and trust are always my top priorities.
“We are so happy with Carol Lynn!! She was great with our dog Beau! She was communicative during the drop-ins, sending photos and videos. She’s very knowledgeable about all things dogs (and cats) which made us feel very comfortable! She’s an all around lovely and reliable person, whom I would highly recommend! (And as an added bonus we made arrangements for her to bring her dog Lorelie to the scheduled drop-ins so Beau had a play date as well! Carol Lynn went out of her way to bring Lorelie over to meet Beau before our scheduled drop-in dates to ensure that they would get along. This was much appreciated!) I look forward to booking Carol Lynn again because I know that Beau will be in good hands now when we are away. Thank you Carol Lynn!”

Alexis was great! My four cats all have different dietary needs but I could trust that Alexis took care of them all as instructed. I could rest assured they were well taken care of and she communicated with me consistently while I was on my trip. Great pet sitter, especially for a gang of cats. Would recommend!

Shayna was amazing! She was kind, communicative, and always kept me updated with messages and photos. My pets absolutely loved her, and she went above and beyond by giving them extra playtime and attention. I felt at ease knowing they were in great hands. Highly recommend Shayna 🩷

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
