My husband and I were at a pet friendly vrbo with our two dogs and found out that they would only allow one. He got back to me right away and was able to accommodate me. He and his partner took in our rambunctious rescue Dachshund Hans and took excellent care of him all weekend. Hans has high energy and separation anxiety and they were undaunted by that. They have a lovely home with a big back yard and two adorable dogs of their own who were great playmates. Photos they sent showed fun times and some good cuddling with the humans. I can't recommend these gents enough and will always get in touch with them when we come to the Palm Springs area with our pooches.”

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbours dogs since my sophomore year of highschool and I’ve walked and fed them mostly at their own house. I’ve taken care of a lot of aggressive dogs in the past I’m currently going to community college and mostly do side jobs. Since I’m in training right now I’ll be free after 5:20 and that gives me the rest of the evening off. I should be done mid December and from there my schedule should be more open. About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes since I was a young girl, and animals have always been a natural part of my life. I’ve rescued dogs throughout my adulthood and loved every breed, personality, and quirky soul that’s come my way. Even cats — despite my allergies — tend to walk right up to me, which always makes me smile. I’ll still care for them with love (and a little help from allergy meds). I’m an empath with a deep, intuitive connection to animals. Nervous, shy, senior, or sensitive pets usually relax around me quickly. I read their body language, respect their boundaries, and create a calm, predictable environment where they feel safe and understood. I also bring professional caregiving skills to my pet care. As a retired massage therapist and longtime caregiver, I can offer gentle pet massage, calming touch, and support for aging, compassionate end of life care and support or anxious dogs. I’m comfortable providing wound care, administering medications, and injections for diabetic animal when needed. “Tanya is the absolute sweetest & most caring sitter. She took my dog Winnie for a planned 4 day trip that unfortunately turned into a week long stay due to a family emergency. She was so flexible in keeping Winnie longer then planned & wonderful to both myself & Winnie. Throughout the stay I got tons of adorable pictures of nap, play, & snuggle times.💕 It brought me so much peace & comfort knowing Winnie was being loved & cared for so well during a very difficult time. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for at least 10 years, mostly with having my own. I know they are a big part of our families and how much we love and care for them. I am great with playing and cuddling and walking and absolutely love it. I currently work from home and so I have plenty of time to schedule dog walks, care and dog sits according to what is needed. I have a large green belt, that is very private. It is not fenced, but I have the ability to take the dogs out as much as needed. I also live in a very nice area where I have many trails and beautiful areas to walk.

“Shayna was the best thing to happen to us while we were staying in Palm Desert. We're not from the area so didn't know anyone and needed someone to look after our little girl, Luna. We hadn't left her before at a stranger's house so this was especially nerve-racking for us. However our experience with Shayna couldn't have been more different to our fears. She is kind, listens and went out of her way to fit her life around Luna. She kept us updated, sent photos and is a great communicator, replying throughout the day, whenever we messaged. She put our minds at ease so we could enjoy our trip. She is a really good person and even better company for Luna. We could tell Luna had a great time and felt comfortable and at home when we picked her up. She definitely missed Shayna after we left and really hope she can see her again.
