⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If Rover Had a Hall of Fame, CJ Would Be the First Inductee. Simply the Best Pet Sitter I've Ever Experienced. There are good pet sitters, there are great pet sitters... and then there's CJ. As a devoted dog parent, leaving Yoshi with anyone is never easy. He's family, and I don't trust just anyone with his happiness or well-being. From the moment CH stepped into our lives, every worry disappeared. She didn't just watch Yoshi, she built a genuine bond with him, loved him like he was her own, and gave him the kind of care every pet parent hopes for but rarely finds. Every update she sent filled my heart with joy. The photos captured more than moments, they captured trust, happiness, and the unmistakable look of a dog who felt completely safe, loved, and at home. I found myself smiling every time I heard from her because I knew Yoshi wasn't just being cared for... he was thriving. When I returned home, it was obvious how much love and attention he'd received. He was happy, relaxed, confident, and completely himself. That's the greatest compliment any pet sitter can earn. CJ’s kindness, professionalism, dependability, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything she does. She doesn't simply provide a service, she gives pet parents the priceless gift of complete peace of mind. I happily left her a well-deserved tip because exceptional people deserve to be recognized. In all honesty, no tip could truly reflect how grateful I am for the care she gave Yoshi. If you're searching for someone to trust with your beloved pet, stop scrolling, you've already found the best. CJ is the kind of person who reminds you that there are still incredibly compassionate people in the world. I would book her again without a second thought, and I hope she knows just how much her care meant to both Yoshi and me. CJ, thank you for loving my best friend as if he were your own. On my next trip, I can't imagine leaving Yoshi with anyone else.

Fantastic experience with Mara getting our pupster back into the routine of her daily walk! Rarely have I seen our girl so happy about going for her walk; she literally glows her special smile when walking with Mara! Mara also takes the most interesting, artistic photos of our pupster and shares with us.

About: I can address the unique requirements of large and small breed dogs. I provide specialized care for senior and advanced senior dogs, ensuring their golden years are comfortable and healthy. I work full-time but seasonally at a large local hotel and my hours vary. I have a very flexible schedule and can work around calendar based obstacles. I find that most animals actually like to stay in their own yard, but if need be, I do have decent sized back yard and it is secured by brick walls / concrete barriers.

About: I grew up on a farm in England with working dogs, which gave me a love for animals and led me to a life working professionally with them. After 32 years of running my own pet care business in Los Angeles, I relocated to the Coachella Valley where I continue to walk, exercise, and socialize dogs, while also working as a dog trainer. I'm available Monday thru Friday from 7am until 5pm, so we can work out walks and visits depending on your schedule and your dog's needs. Your dog will always be walked on leash, with the exception of fenced dog parks. Dogs can be crated during transport, if that makes them more comfortable. With my many years of experience, I know exactly how to work with dogs with a focus on the safety, calm, and happiness of the animal.

About: Hi, I’m Henny. I have been playing and caring for cats and dogs for the past 25 years, but I gained my patience, compassion, and deep love for pets when I began volunteering at the animal shelter. I became more comfortable of all breeds and sizes. This continues on with looking after family friends’ pets which I really enjoyed. I currently have a mixed terrier named Lucy. She is estimated to be 13 years young. I will care for your fur-baby like my own. I am a yoga teacher with varying work hours but I’m never out of the house for more than couple of hours. I am available for overnight persisting at your home to minimize pet stress and happy to drop in for visit. I have Big fenced backyard with plenty of space to sniff around and be free. I often hang around in my backyard with the pups to enjoy the fresh air or some sun rays.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for at least 10 years, mostly with having my own. I know they are a big part of our families and how much we love and care for them. I am great with playing and cuddling and walking and absolutely love it. I currently work from home and so I have plenty of time to schedule dog walks, care and dog sits according to what is needed. I have a large green belt, that is very private. It is not fenced, but I have the ability to take the dogs out as much as needed. I also live in a very nice area where I have many trails and beautiful areas to walk.

About: Hello You Loving Pet Owner, You! My name is Samantha B., and I grew up loving to care for animals. In fact, I used to want to be a veterinarian, so in a way I've always been interested in Pet-Care. This has led me to later pet-sitting for my family, my friends, and some past neighbors. Now I simply enjoy pet-sitting for when I need to earn a little extra cash to help pay off bills and expenses. The current services that I can offer are Dog Walking, making Drop-In Visits, and House Sitting. ● I can handle walking two to three small-medium sized dogs at once. For big dogs, I prefer to walk them 1-to-1. On walks I will ALWAYS clean after your pet, and keep them safe from other dogs. ● For drop-in visits, I can provide 2-3 visits per day. While visiting, I will also clean up any pet related messes. *I can help with light housekeeping as well, but this would be a seperate service. Please inquire if you are interested*. ●House Sitting service is not a service that I always offer, but since it is Summer, I will be opening this service up. Please message me for scheduling. While house sitting, I will care for your pet(s) within the comfort of their own home. There, I can focus on keeping you pet healthy and happy; with frequent update picture and scheduled update messages; light housekeeping is included with this service. With frequent updates, you can start to feel more at ease while thinking of your pet(s) while on vacation, caring for family matters, or as you focus on buisness. I'm trying to save up for a new apartment. I want to move to a pet-friendly one, so this is for that saving fund. This also helps pay off some of my bills. I keep an eye on how much my pets are eating and when. Keeping a well planned schedule for feeding is my preference. As someone who enjoys being outside more than indoors, I make sure my own pets get enough fresh air and plenty of exercise.

About: Hi there! I’m very observant and caring with pets. I have a lot of experience in senior care. My own dog, who passed in 2024, lived to 15 years old, was blind and diabetic. Because of him, I’m comfortable with special care needs. I am a full time nursing student at College of The Desert. My availability/calendar on Rover is always updated and accurate. I provide dog sitting services on a part time basis during the semester :) The months of December-Jan 2026 I will be taking some time off from pet sitting. Unfortunately my home does not allow pets so I can only sit in the pets/your home! I am excited to meet your fur baby and give them all my love, care and attention! I like to send a lot of photos and videos because your comfort is my comfort (Unless you ask me not to!) One thing that really helps things go smoothly is a detailed schedule & notes (written or typed) for your pet if they have any. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to keep your pup safe and happy.

  • 99% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
