About: Human to Shadow, a 6 year old male. After adopting him as a 6 week old puppy, I became fully invested in learning more about how I can provide my pups with the best care while enjoying life together. I understand it can be difficult to finding the best match for the needs of your pups while you are away which is why I joined Rover as a sitter. My schedule for day drop in visits are by case to case, however, my evenings and nights are very flexible. For full day services, I am available Friday-Sunday. My goal is for pets to feel as comfortable as they are with their humans. I will follow any instructions provided and will ask questions as needed to ensure that the pets routine and environment are not disrupted.

About: I am a cat mom to a bengal cat named Tango. Tango’s favorite activities include playing fetch, taking walks along the Seine (he’s just returned from 2 years in Paris) and play dates with his homies Hammy & Otie (dogs). 🫶🏼 Tango aspires to be a Royal Canin model. We live in a house in La Quinta with a fenced yard, great for playing and exercise while confined. Residential neighborhood near old town and the park. Great area for walks, safe and clean. I mostly work from home, unless I have to travel. Otherwise I am available all hours and can schedule according to your pets specific needs. I care for all pets the same way I would want my kitty cared for. My cat is like my child, he has a very unique personality and style that I have fostered since I got him. I approach each animal according to their unique personality and their owner’s caretaking style.
About: Lover of all animals. 20 years experience with our own dogs and others both HUGE and Small. Recently said goodbye to our old boy (a Large Great Weimar) and looking to spend some time with new doggy friends until we get our next. Extensive history with senior dogs and all of the care that goes along with that (assisted bathroom walks, pill schedules, dog bed changing, pee pads, etc), especially patience and love. Also happy with long walks or hikes for the adventurous tail waggers out there! My husband works from home full time, and I currently am available to give my full attention to our pet friends. So walks and attention at any time are not a problem. We have a large fenced in yard with additional barriers that can be added if needed. Lots of grass and play areas for fetch available. We also live in a gated golf community, with many paths and trails for any length of walks and play.

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong dog lover with 10 years of experience caring for family pets. I've grown up with dogs & cats and have always been the go-to pet sitter for friends and family. I love getting to know each dog's unique personality and understand that some pups need a little extra time and patience to feel comfortable. ❤️ I also have a senior dog with a heart condition (my soul pup), so I'm experienced with medications, special care instructions, and keeping pets on a consistent schedule. 💊⏰ Whether your pet needs a potty break, meal, playtime, medication, or just some companionship, I'll treat them like one of my own. 🐶🐱 I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone new, so I prioritize communication and send detailed updates with photos after every visit! 📸 I work from home full-time, which gives me flexibility to accommodate many scheduling needs throughout the day. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - La Quinta
Angelina responded quickly to my initial request for a meet & greet, which was a pleasant surprise after receiving no response at all from a number of other prospective walkers. My lab, Cali, and Angelina quickly bonded and we agreed to a 4 walks/week schedule. Cali clearly enjoys the hour long sessions with Angelina, arriving home afterwards nicely exercised & wanting a nap. Angelina is always on time and communicates clearly with any modifications to the schedule. We couldn’t be happier with the care & attention Angelina provides and strongly recommend her!
Sophia saved us last minute (day of) when we were in a pinch and needed care for our dogs. She sent really great report cards and pictures of the dogs and followed our instructions exactly. She was reliable and communicative and we know that our dogs really loved playing with her. Thank you Sophia!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
