“THE BEST! When simba and I originally met Brandon and William we knew we had found our dogs best companions! They were so gracious to invite us in and show us the space Simba would be staying in. On Simba's visit we were always provided updates and photos. Brandon and William are so kind and loving, your pet will go to the best home. Truly so appreciative for their care! Thank you!”

“Don did a great job taking care of our two dogs for two nights. I liked that he only watches one family’s pet(s) at a time and how he was thoughtful about sending check-up photos once or twice a day. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Don again. Thank you, Don!”

“Katie took wonderful care of my special needs dog in a short notice situation. She was very easy to communicate and was flexible with me on pick up and drop off. She sent me lots of pictures during my dog's stay and checked in with me often. I can't recommend her enough! Most people would not open their home to a medical special needs dog but Katie did without a second thought. Thanks again for the wonderful experience. So grateful to have found you”

I have a very open and flexible schedule and am available to provide around-the-clock care to your furry friend! I am generally available at any time. Fenced in yard, plenty of space to play. About: I recently inherited my aunt‘s dog after she passed away. She wanted me to have Buddy that’s his name (he is the dog in my profile pic♥️)because I am so good with animals. He is a senior dog and I’ve rejuvenated him. We walk every day, I make him fresh, fresh, food I play with him. He’s super happy and it’s like he’s got a second lease on life a pep in his step. This is what I can provide to dogs that I watch or sit or walk. Caring loving attentive care until their mom or daddy returns.🐶 I wake up around 5:30 am and give my dog a walk. I make sure we are up bright and early so that we can get a walk in before the pavement is too hot for him. Then I come home and feed him his breakfast. Throughout the day we s play or if I leave and when I get back I will chase him around our couch. Buddy loves that! I am very gentle and follow the rules to a T. If there’s any instructions or preferences on treatment or care for the animal, always make sure that’s my number one priority.
“Sierra was great! She has cared for both my Siberian Husky and my Doberman a couple times, most recently for a full week. She kept me informed throughout their stay, sending me daily text updates and photos. I always felt confident that my dogs were happy, comfortable, and receiving excellent care. On the return leg of my most recent trip, I ran into flight delays and was going to be several hours late picking them up. Sierra had no problem accommodating the change and graciously kept them until I was able to arrive. I truly appreciated her flexibility and would not hesitate to trust her with my dogs again.”

“Why can’t we give six stars?! Elizabeth went well above and beyond taking care of our young 4 month old puppy Daisy! She sent constant photos and updates, helped her a ton with her potty training and took her for walks! If Elizabeth is available we will be choosing her to watch Daisy from now on. Can’t recommend her enough!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - La Quinta
This was my first time using a sitter and I couldn’t be more pleased with Joan and her husband. They took such good care of my dog for two weeks and she was very happy staying with them. They took her on walks, gave her such loving care. I will definitely use them again.

Lilly was absolutely amazing with Dexter! She kept us updated throughout his stay and sent plenty of photos. Dexter and her dog seemed to have so much fun together. It's wonderful knowing he was not only looked after but also happy, active, and enjoying himself. I highly recommend Lilly to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and attentive dog sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again! 🐾❤️

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
