Tango’s favorite activities include playing fetch, taking walks along the Seine (he’s just returned from 2 years in Paris) and play dates with his homies Hammy & Otie (dogs). 🫶🏼 Tango aspires to be a Royal Canin model. We live in a house in La Quinta with a fenced yard, great for playing and exercise while confined. Residential neighborhood near old town and the park. Great area for walks, safe and clean. I mostly work from home, unless I have to travel. Otherwise I am available all hours and can schedule according to your pets specific needs. I care for all pets the same way I would want my kitty cared for. My cat is like my child, he has a very unique personality and style that I have fostered since I got him. I approach each animal according to their unique personality and their owner’s caretaking style.

About: Hi!! I've lived with and cared for multiple dogs over the past 20+ years. I've completed advanced K9 training in addition to Petco/PetSmart puppy training programs. I love animals, I'm an easy and reliable person to work with, I'm very mobile, love going on walks, and am experienced in leash training as well! My schedule is flexible so just let me know what's good for you! Generally, I'm available on weekdays and weekends, and I don't need too much advanced noticed either. I like to get to know your pet, get them comfortable with having me around, and then I cultivate trust between us. It's about mutual respect.

About: My father raised black labs for hunting so I’ve been around dogs my entire life. This last year is the first year I haven’t had a dog as I lost the last of my pack of five Thanksgiving 2023. Before I commit to another I thought I would give my puppy love to others’ pets. My children are allergic to cats so I can’t sit cats unless you have the hairless versions. I live on a gorgeous golf course where I can walk your dog (s). Due to my children’s (grandchildren’s) allergies I do prefer dogs who are hypoallergenic. If your dog can swim, we can exercise in the pool but I also have a safety gate around the pool if they can’t swim (for my grands). I spoil my pets so if you don’t want that you better tell me in advance! I have my own business and make my own hours . Your pet will be my priority and buddy while they are with me. The longest time I would be gone is two hours for a mahjong game if I’m sitting during the winter months. I will care for your dogs the way you want them to be cared for. My dogs had free range of the house when I was home. When I was gone they were crated mostly because of the alarm system. I play music for them when I’m gone too. At night, if they don’t shed, they are welcome to sleep in the bed. If they shed, they can sleep on the floor on a cushy pad next to me. If they are used to being crated then I will crate them. Please bring the crate they are used to, as I have donated my crates. I still have lots of dog beds but love the excuse to get more.

About: I've had 2 dogs my whole life. Both which lived over 10 years each. I've also taken care of my daughters 3 labs since they were puppies. I am retired and live in a casita so I can give all my attention to your fur babies. I'm available most of the time since I'm retired. I love walking everyday everywhere . Please feel free to contact me anytime. Monday through Friday are the best days for me. I don't have any dogs so I don't have to worry about that. And your dog will be safe with me in my secured house.

“Amy is awesome. We have a 13 week old puppy that had never been boarded previously and did not have all of his vaccinations. Teddy, the Teacup Maltipoo had quickly worked his way into our hearts and we were very concerned about boarding him any place where there wasn't constant supervision. We were going to be gone for the entirety of a day and late into the evening and didn't know what to do so that Teddy would get the attention he needed and our concerns alleviated. Amy was very willing to pre-meet us beforehand to make sure that Teddy would fit in well into her home and that Teddy would be comfortable. Amy was even willing to rearrange her schedule in order to accommodate us. We met with Amy, her husband, and her dogs. Amy was very willing to answer our questions and reassure us that Teddy would be well cared for. She is an extremely warm hearted person who is a total animal lover. We felt so reassured that we decided to go ahead for our first DogVacay experience with Teddy our puppy. Amy sent us gobs of pictures and a video snippet throughout the day. We shared those with our family while we were vacationing and we all enjoyed and welcomed the special attention that Teddy was given. We felt so relieved that he was being well cared for. When we picked him up later that evening Teddy was as jubiliant and happy as ever. Amy is an incredibly kind person and we felt fortunate that we could be paired with her for Teddy's care. About: I got my first pet when I was six years old. Since then, I have been taking care of dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, and fish for over 15 years. My friends, family, and neighbors rely on me to feed their pets, take them on walks, bathe them and even trim their nails, if needed. I love all pets and enjoy taking care of them as if they were my own. I can fit your schedule anytime with a week’s notice. For walks, mornings are more favorable due to weather conditions. For emergency care, one day advance would be preferred. I have a fenced yard where your dogs can play outside on the grass or they can enjoy indoor play with cool A/C. They’ll have their own room or they can be crated if needed.
