“CJ is the greatest! My dogs really live hanging out with her and it is such a relief to come home to calm relaxed dogs who had a great day when we are gone. She pays close attention to the details and really goes the extra mile to make sure my babies are happy and I stay up to date on how they are doing! We will definitely be seeing more of CJ in the future!”

“Kyla watched our dogs and kitty for two and a half days, and she did an excellent job! I’m so thankful that I met her. She was punctual, responsible, and very respectful of our home. She also spent lots of time with our pets. My dogs are extra shy, but in a short time they came to love her. She has a calm and sweet presence that just fit my dogs and cat perfectly. She sent me plenty of updates and pictures, and I really appreciated that. I’d hire her again in a second. She’s great!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for at least 10 years, mostly with having my own. I know they are a big part of our families and how much we love and care for them. I am great with playing and cuddling and walking and absolutely love it. I currently work from home and so I have plenty of time to schedule dog walks, care and dog sits according to what is needed. I have a large green belt, that is very private. It is not fenced, but I have the ability to take the dogs out as much as needed. I also live in a very nice area where I have many trails and beautiful areas to walk.
“We got to come home to a happy dog after Kristina’s drop by visit with Chunk for some outdoor play time, potty break, and meal time. Very satisfied with her service and great communication.”

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbours dogs since my sophomore year of highschool and I’ve walked and fed them mostly at their own house. I’ve taken care of a lot of aggressive dogs in the past I’m currently going to community college and mostly do side jobs. Im currently on summer break so right now my schedule is very flexible and open I’m able to drive to my clients house and feed, let their dog outside and even walk them. I also like to spend a little extra time playing with them.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We can’t thank Holly enough for stepping in at the last minute to take care of our pets! She was incredibly understanding and accommodating with our sudden trip, and her communication was excellent from start to finish. We really appreciated how attentive she was to all of our pets’ needs and how she kept us updated with messages and photos—it gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Everything was perfectly handled, and our pets were clearly happy and well cared for. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional pet sitter!”

“Mona was an angel. We have an 18-year-old almost fully blind dog who is never left alone and we were terrified about leaving him with someone we didn’t know.. Mona came to our hotel and spent three days taking care of Ziggy while we were out having fun and relaxing. From the moment she walked in the room we knew she’d be a great fit.. She’s very responsible, kind, caring and attentive.. She took pictures and made sure to keep in contact with us throughout the day at our request. When it came time OK for her to leave Ziggy tried to follow her out!!! we will definitely be using her again and I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a pet sitter. Mona, we thank you so very much. You’re amazing.!”
“We had Rhondee drop in our dog while we were away and we came home and all was well and great with our dog Cajun. Rhondee was able to accommodate the drop in times that we requested, which was much appreciated! Would certainly recommend to anyone else!”

“Isabelle was the best! We rarely ever leave our dogs - they are very attached to us. Both our babies instantly took a liking to Isabelle at the meet and greet. She learned their individual routines quickly and efficiently and made them feel so comfortable. She was the sweetest and provided us with multiple updates and photos a day ♥️! Couldn’t thank her enough!”

“Shiori was great! She looked after our elderly German Shepherd mix who requires multiple medications in his food and even though he’s elderly, sometimes he can be a handful and Shiori charmed him. Highly recommend. Very lovely and respectful person as well.”

About: With over 11 years of hands-on cat care experience, I bring a depth of understanding that goes far beyond basic sitting. This range has taught me how to read feline behavior, adapt quickly, and provide calm, confident care in any situation. I’m especially attentive to routine, cleanliness, and emotional comfort. Whether a cat needs gentle patience, playful engagement, or quiet companionship, I tailor my care to what helps them feel safest and most at ease. I treat every cat as an individual—not a checklist—and my goal is always for pet parents to feel complete peace of mind knowing their cat is in experienced, compassionate hands. “We stayed at the Ritz Carlton and Matthew was able to come pick up our Frenchy and take him to his home down the street for afternoon playtime each day. He would then return him after we left for dinner to his crate in our room. Our pup was relaxed and calm and so excited to see Matthew when he’d pick him up.”

We are so glad to have found Tyler! She took great care of our boy during a drop-in visit. She played with him and took him on a nice walk. - 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
