“Geri was the best! Don't be fooled by her stern-looking profile photo; she is anything but! Super stylish and kind, with a huge heart. Our Roxy was very happy with her stay with Geri, and her home is beautiful, and every detail was accounted for in making it super doggy friendly. Her lil pup is also very sweet and got along very well with our picky, not-usually-a-dog-person dog, Roxy, which says a lot. Anyway, look no further, we highly recommend choosing Geri for your doggy needs!!”

“Judith was amazing. She was very good at communicating and sent me lots of pictures of my dog (even though my dog is camera shy). She was really flexible and worked with me when my schedule changed a bit. I will be picking to send Vexy to her house next time we need a Rover.”

“Matt was absolutely incredible! He stayed with our dog Nipsey for 3 days. Communication was outstanding, we got daily updates with photos and videos, which gave us total peace of mind. Will definitely rebook again!”

“Amazing job looking after our Weimaraner while we were out on holiday for a week. So flexible and understanding when our flight got delayed, and kept us updated with pics. Thank you again Whitney and Justin you guys are the best!”

“Absolutely the best. I have a difficult dog, and Candace was extremely confident and loving with her. I have full peace of mind when she's watching my dog. Thank you Candace!”

“Kevin was great. His communication was fabulous keeping us posted on our little boy. He even sent pictures, which we really appreciated. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to know their pet is in good hands.”

“Monte loved his stay with Maggie! Her home is full of play toys, doggie beds and a fenced back yard to play in. She also sent pictures of their walks together and his buddy Jacob who was also staying with them. I will always contact Maggie to take care of my boy -he was well loved and treated like a prince while we were away!”

“Katie took wonderful care of my special needs dog in a short notice situation. She was very easy to communicate and was flexible with me on pick up and drop off. She sent me lots of pictures during my dog's stay and checked in with me often. I can't recommend her enough! Most people would not open their home to a medical special needs dog but Katie did without a second thought. Thanks again for the wonderful experience. So grateful to have found you”

“THE BEST! When simba and I originally met Brandon and William we knew we had found our dogs best companions! They were so gracious to invite us in and show us the space Simba would be staying in. On Simba's visit we were always provided updates and photos. Brandon and William are so kind and loving, your pet will go to the best home. Truly so appreciative for their care! Thank you!”

“Why can’t we give six stars?! Elizabeth went well above and beyond taking care of our young 4 month old puppy Daisy! She sent constant photos and updates, helped her a ton with her potty training and took her for walks! If Elizabeth is available we will be choosing her to watch Daisy from now on. Can’t recommend her enough!!”

“Samantha was very responsive, sent pictures and a video of my dog, and was very kind and generous when I was late for dropping off and picking up my dog. The home and backyard was a great environment for my siberian husky and she was great to work with. I would absolutely recommend her help to anyone needing a dog sitter if you're in the area.”

“Lynn did a great job with Yogi! She has a nice place with a great patio where Yogi enjoyed hanging out with her dog, Lucy. Lynn gave Yogi some exercise with walks and visiting the dog park. She was also great about sending updates and pictures regularly. We look forward to using her services again in the future!”

“We have used Rover for a couple of years and Brandon excels at communicating, which provides such a comfort ! He is flexible and demonstrates patience and handles our big boys with ease My chocolate lab does not like strange men and he took a shine to Brandon ! At pickup they were happy and non stressed Thank you !! We will be spreading your name amongst our friends!”

“Alan & Joe are amazing. This is our 3rd time leaving our girl Sammie with them. We can always enjoy our trip knowing she’s in great hands! Very communicative and they make sure to send great pics (: Definitely our go to anytime we need a sitter!!”

“This was the best experience. Sam was caring and professional and my dog kept kissing him when she left. If your looking for a pet sitter in Palm Springs go no further. I received constant emails, photos and videos of my happy young dog.”

About: I have owned and taken care of a cat since I was roughly 12 years old. I have had multiple different breeds and currently have an orange male. He is your typical orange as he only has one usable brain cell at a time but we love and cherish him anyway. If your cat has any quirks or special needs I will happily take the time your pet needs. I am a stay at home mom whose children recently started going to school full time so I find myself with extra time and love on my hands. I promise to take care of your baby as well as my own.

“McKenna cared for our 2 young cats when we were away from home for 4 days. She was always on time, followed all instructions and was great at communicating with us. She sent photos and updates every day. We would definitely use Mc Kenna again the next time we're out of town.”

“Samantha watched our senior cat Jack for ten days during the heat wave. She was reliable and punctual and made sure Jack didn’t get dehydrated. She cleaned up after him when he threw up. He was persnickety for a few days at the beginning but Samantha persisted and won him over. She is a rock star!”

About: I’ve been caring for cats for most of my life, i grew up in a home with cats both young and old. Since I was 10 years old, my family has trusted me to care for our cats independently, giving me years of hands-on experience with feeding, cleaning litter boxes, administering basic care, and making sure each cat feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I understand that every cat has a unique personality, and I’m committed to providing patient, reliable, and attentive care so that my clients can have peace of mind while you’re away. I am also experienced with exotic animals such as rodents, snakes, frogs, and insects, having owned and taken care of them in the past.
About: For 29 years that I have my own dogs, I am ready to take care of dogs other than my own. I am a retired Pharma low level exec. I am mostly at home, and if I do step out of the house, I am usually not away for more than 3 hours because of my dogs. My dogs sleep with me in bed, and so are the pets that I will be caring, if that is your preference. At the moment, I would only accept male neutered dogs. Apart from my Sunday morning, Monday afternoon coffee group and Friday breakfast group, I am mostly at home to look after and play with your dogs. My house is clean, well maintained with a secured wall fence. For safety reasons, the dogs are not allowed to roam around the yard without me being outside as I have a pool and potential air predators. My house is equipped with automatic fire sprinklers.

About: I know cats are happiest when they feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own home. I’ll take the time to earn your cat’s trust, respect their unique personality, and provide gentle, attentive care. Whether they love to cuddle or simply enjoy quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they feel secure while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your feline family member is in loving hands.
“Henny was very good with my beautiful orange Biscuit kitty cat!!! So glad my kitty got some love when I couldn't be there! Henny was responsive to my initial request, reliable with all visits, and came when I needed her to come for our meet n greet, even tho i had to leave short notice. I'm very grateful I found her and now I feel free to leave home when I need to. Thanks Henny.”

About: Choosing a pet sitter is an act of trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. For years, I've been trusted to care for beloved pets and the homes they live in, and I would be honored to earn your trust as well. My goal is simple: to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is safe, happy, and receiving the same thoughtful, attentive care you provide at home. I have decades of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Throughout my life, I've had the privilege of caring for my own pets as well as those of family and friends, including senior animals with special needs. I'm equally comfortable with small dogs, large breeds, energetic pets, and those who simply need a slower, gentler pace. Every pet is unique. I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and communication style so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'm experienced with senior pets, shy or anxious animals, and multi-pet households. I'm also comfortable administering oral medications and injections when needed, while paying close attention to any changes in behavior or health. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or mine (when appropriate), you can expect dependable communication, regular photo updates, and patient, compassionate care. I'll treat your home with respect and your pet like a member of my own family. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members!

About: I have lived with two cats for the past 25 years of my life. In fact, I live with two now and I can admit that they are the bosses of me. I have always adopted kitties from shelters, saving lives is so important. I know all of the secret cat scratching areas and to avoid the tummy unless given permission (and even then it's a trap!) Cats are finicky and don't typically like change. But I've found that my calm demeanor and "cat voice" makes kitties come out of their shell. if past experience dictates, your kitties will likely love me and I will show them all of the respect for their domain that they command.

“Ashurina helped me out of a jam, was needing to head out of town last min. She came by the same day I called her to meet with myself and my 2 girls (fur baby cats). She checked in and updated me, sent pictures and had my 2 cats engaged during her drop in. Thank you so much.”

“Justin spent 4 nights at our home babysitting our two cats. He was very professional, a good communicator, and our cats seemed completely calm when we returned...so they liked him! He left the house in great condition and we were very happy with his service!”

“Angelica was AMAZING. So accommodating to my schedule, and was incredibly sweet with my 2 cats, one of which has special needs and behaviors, so it was very meaningful to me! Absolutely revommend 💕💕💕💕”

“Don has been great with our 2 dogs. He has boarded them several times and lately has been dropping by our house for a couple hours when we’re out for many hours and taking the dogs for walks, swims, playtime and doing some training!”

“WOW! 5 STARS and then some! We couldn't be more pleased. And for the record, I'm an "A-type" which is something I don't readily share but for a review involving the care of my "cat child" George, it feels more than appropriate. JoAnn was a hit on all levels. Smart, Kind, Fun, and delivering ATTENTION TO DETAIL at every turn! JoAnn's daily video updates with snippets of play time made our time away all the better and reduced anxiety around leaving George at home. THANK YOU JoANN! Dave (Rancho Mirage, CA)”

“Faith did a wonderful job caring for my 3 cats while I was away. She sent great photos of the kitties while caring for them and made me feel secure about their care. I highly recommend her.”

“Jo was awesome! She arrived early to meet Vaughan. She took great care of our four legged. She sent great pictures so we could see how well Vaughan was doing. When we arrived home, Vaughan was a happy camper and was curled up on Jo's lap. We already booked another date. Thanks Jo.”

“Geraldine was very flexible and willing to take our beagle on a short notice. Geraldine was booked 24 hrs in advance to watch Honey while my husband & I went to a spa. We booked Geraldine for another successful evening of dog sitting in her home during our vacation in Palm Springs. Geraldine was a good match for dog sitting our chill 8 1/2 year old beagle. (We tipped her in cash, not using the Rover app).”

“Corrine was awesome! We needed someone last minute and Corrine accepted. She made our Kimber feel at home, took her on a long walk and sent pictures the whole time to let us know she was doing well. I highly recommend Corrine to take care of your dogs!”

“Angelica was amazing! Kind, compassionate, and patient with our little guy. He’s often shy at first amd she gave him the attention and space he needed. She was extremely communicative and kept me updated the whole stay. We definitely plan on asking Angelica to watch Pickles again! Couldn’t ask for a better sitter, extremely grateful. ❤️🐾”

“Bobby always has a blast with Matt and his pack. There are usually a couple dog pals for him to play with and he’s always beaming after his visits. Matt takes good care of our furry babies and is flexible when it comes to scheduling. Would definitely recommend!”

“Katie is so so wonderful with my pup Archie. I have left my Archie with Katie multiple times and each time I know he is going to be so well taken care of. As a new puppy owner, Katie made feel at ease the moment I met her as she has such a natural love for dogs. Archie was having some stomach issues one weekend and Katie was wonderful and administered his medication while I was away. Katie is super communicative and was so kind to send me pictures of Archie while I was away. I will definitely continue to book with Katie whenever I need care for Archie!”

“I felt really comfortable leaving Aya with Jackson. He is clearly a very experienced dog sitter and I couldn’t have been happier with his service. He also kept me updated throughout my dog’s stay which was great. I will 100% contact Jackson the next time I am in the area.”

“I've never left my new rescue dog with anyone and I didn't think he'd do well with a lot of dogs at a normal day care because he can get overwhelmed and defensive. Judith is a dog person. She understands them and was a great sitter. Once Goedy and her dog got to know each other they played and wrestled all day! I felt very comfortable knowing he was in a safe place and also having fun. Would 1000% leave my pup with Judith again.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes since I was a young girl, and animals have always been a natural part of my life. I’ve rescued dogs throughout my adulthood and loved every breed, personality, and quirky soul that’s come my way. Even cats — despite my allergies — tend to walk right up to me, which always makes me smile. I’ll still care for them with love (and a little help from allergy meds). I’m an empath with a deep, intuitive connection to animals. Nervous, shy, senior, or sensitive pets usually relax around me quickly. I read their body language, respect their boundaries, and create a calm, predictable environment where they feel safe and understood. I also bring professional caregiving skills to my pet care. As a retired massage therapist and longtime caregiver, I can offer gentle pet massage, calming touch, and support for aging, compassionate end of life care and support or anxious dogs. I’m comfortable providing wound care, administering medications, and injections for diabetic animal when needed. What truly sets me apart is the combination of lifelong love of animals, my experience, intuition, and genuine compassion. Your pet will be cared for with patience, warmth, and the same steady presence I’ve brought to every animal I’ve loved. When I am caring for your loved one I commit to your Pet only. About: I’ve always been good with animal since I was young and because I grew up around dogs. I am calm and collective and I try to apply that when dog sitting. I also have more than 2 years of experience in customer service, which has taught me to truly value a customer. I am currently working part time and I am free during most days of the week, preferably in the afternoon. I am available weekends, however not on Sundays. Even though I am working, I am more than happy to spend time with animals, I truly enjoy it! I have experience with both cats and dogs as I’ve house sitted for people who have both. I know how to crate dogs. I know the basics like how to pick up cat litter, feed animals, and how to encourage them to use the restroom. My father also has a dog and I’m the one who usually feeds her, takes her outside, and the one who is constantly playing with her.

About: I grew up in a home that adopted cats & dogs and was the prime caregiver since animal's lives and happiness are close my heart. I believe in SPOILING them, not giving them all of the treats, but in giving them tons of attention and activity. Zonking them out at night so they have the best night's sleep. I love all dogs, tiny to giants and long-haired too. I laugh at zoomies. My animal voice disarms them quickly so even the most nervous cats or dogs warm up to me in time. I respect boundaries and listen/watch body language so that neither of us are uncomfortable. I love to go on walks with them, letting them smell every flower along the way. I love playing tug of war or chasing each other or throwing a ball for hours. They are such special little beings and deserve the best care. With me, they would be loved on, scratched, belly rubbed, or brushed to their delight! I work from home and set my schedule. So, I would be available to watch your furbabies during the times that you need, overnights, or just daily drop-bys. All I need is wifi and if it's the summer, AC. I am happy to bring any cat-friendly dogs into my home. Both of my cats LOVE dogs. But your furbabies would have to have up-to-date vaccinations to do so. I'm happy to have them here. If they like walks, I go on one daily for about an hour. If I need to, I can split that walk in two, no worries. Spending time with them at a dog park. Throwing the ball or playing outside with their favorite toy is also something that I would enjoy doing. I am happy to find what each furbaby needs and to meet it. I love getting to know animals and their specific qualities/likes/dislikes and meeting their needs and having fun. The whole idea to me is that if their humans are out of town. having fun, they should have an equal amount of fun too!
About: I grew up on a farm in England with working dogs, which gave me a love for animals and led me to a life working professionally with them. After 32 years of running my own pet care business in Los Angeles, I relocated to the Coachella Valley where I continue to walk, exercise, and socialize dogs, while also working as a dog trainer. I'm available Monday thru Friday from 7am until 5pm, so we can work out walks and visits depending on your schedule and your dog's needs. Your dog will always be walked on leash, with the exception of fenced dog parks. Dogs can be crated during transport, if that makes them more comfortable. With my many years of experience, I know exactly how to work with dogs with a focus on the safety, calm, and happiness of the animal.

I enjoy having the flexibility to give pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve. Please reach out so we can discuss your pet’s needs and create the best care plan for your schedule. I believe the best care starts with understanding each pet’s individual needs, routine, and personality. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or providing care in my own home (when appropriate), their safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. In your home, I will maintain your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication needs, and the familiar environment they know and trust. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. For pets staying in my home, I provide a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I have a completely fenced and secure yard, and pets are welcome to relax indoors in a climate-controlled home environment at all times. Living in a warm climate, I am very mindful of heat safety and make sure pets are comfortable and never exposed to excessive temperatures. I also enjoy providing enrichment and exercise appropriate for each pet’s personality and energy level. When it’s a good fit, I’m happy to include friendly, social dogs in outings such as walks or trips to the dog park with my own dog, who is fully vaccinated, neutered, and enjoys the company of other dogs. Every pet is different, and my goal is always to provide dependable, loving care that feels as close to home as possible.
“This was our first time using Rover, and therefore our first time having Jon walk our dog. We asked Jon to come by each day at 7, as it gets pretty hot here in the desert quite early in the morning. Sammi is used to hour long walks as well. We can say Jon did not disappoint! He was at our house every morning at 7 on the nose and gave our Sammi a full hour walk each day. They walked a mile plus on each journey and Sammi looked forward to seeing him every day. Could not have asked for a better experience!”

About: Hi, I’m Henny. I have been playing and caring for cats and dogs for the past 25 years, but I gained my patience, compassion, and deep love for pets when I began volunteering at the animal shelter. I became more comfortable of all breeds and sizes. This continues on with looking after family friends’ pets which I really enjoyed. I currently have a mixed terrier named Lucy. She is estimated to be 13 years young. I will care for your fur-baby like my own. I am a yoga teacher with varying work hours but I’m never out of the house for more than couple of hours. I am available for overnight persisting at your home to minimize pet stress and happy to drop in for visit. I have Big fenced backyard with plenty of space to sniff around and be free. I often hang around in my backyard with the pups to enjoy the fresh air or some sun rays.
About: I have always had animals. From cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, cows, and sheep. From babies to elders. My love for animals has always been a source of joy in my life and I would love to care for yours too! I did just have a baby over the summer so I would have him in tow with me at visits. I am a stay at home mom of a beautiful daughter and newborn son, 2 dogs and 3 cats. I am available to come by as needed to ensure your babies are taken care of. I am very diligent in following directions to ensure your pets safety and your peace of mind. My pets at home are treated like they are my children and I know you feel the same about yours.
About: With over 10 years of experience owning and operating a grooming and boarding facility in Houston, Texas, I bring professional, hands-on expertise to every dog I care for. As a devoted dog owner myself (four fur-kids and counting), I’m comfortable with pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs—including administering medication, handling anxious or difficult dogs, and, of course, managing the occasional mess with patience and care. I pride myself on being reliable, punctual, and attentive, but most importantly, I genuinely love dogs—and they know it. When you’re done booking, be sure to tell your dog I said hi. I’m semi-retired, which means I have the flexibility to provide reliable, around-the-clock care for your pets. Your dog won’t be squeezed into a schedule—they’ll have consistent attention, supervision, and companionship. As a longtime dog owner myself—sharing my home with an Olde English Sheepdog, Border Collie, Shih Tzu, and Miniature Poodle—I’m experienced with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and personalities. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own—with patience, attention, and genuine affection. In my home, your rules. I'm fine sleeping with dogs. I'll feed and play on your established schedule. I'll order in if the dogs can't be left alone.
About: Hi there! I’m very observant and caring with pets. I have a lot of experience in senior care. My own dog, who passed in 2024, lived to 15 years old, was blind and diabetic. Because of him, I’m comfortable with special care needs. I am a full time nursing student at College of The Desert. My availability/calendar on Rover is always updated and accurate. I provide dog sitting services on a part time basis during the semester :) The months of December-Jan 2026 I will be taking some time off from pet sitting. Unfortunately my home does not allow pets so I can only sit in the pets/your home! I am excited to meet your fur baby and give them all my love, care and attention! I like to send a lot of photos and videos because your comfort is my comfort (Unless you ask me not to!) One thing that really helps things go smoothly is a detailed schedule & notes (written or typed) for your pet if they have any. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to keep your pup safe and happy.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for at least 10 years, mostly with having my own. I know they are a big part of our families and how much we love and care for them. I am great with playing and cuddling and walking and absolutely love it. I currently work from home and so I have plenty of time to schedule dog walks, care and dog sits according to what is needed. I have a large green belt, that is very private. It is not fenced, but I have the ability to take the dogs out as much as needed. I also live in a very nice area where I have many trails and beautiful areas to walk.
About: I have hands-on experience caring for three high-maintenance, large-breed dogs—including walking, bathing, feeding, and handling their unique needs. I understand how much care and patience big dogs require, and I’m confident in managing strong, energetic pups with love and consistency. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility during the week and availability on weekends. I enjoy spending time with animals and have time to play, walk, and care for them just like I do with my own dogs. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or my client’s, I treat them like family. I follow any instructions closely—feeding schedules, medications, walk times, and special needs. I make sure pets feel safe and loved by keeping their routine consistent, giving them lots of attention, and respecting their space. I also keep the home clean and tidy, just as I would want someone to do in mine.

“Judith was amazing. She was very good at communicating and sent me lots of pictures of my dog (even though my dog is camera shy). She was really flexible and worked with me when my schedule changed a bit. I will be picking to send Vexy to her house next time we need a Rover.”

No other side jobs. No leaving to walk or feed another animal. I serve one family at a time whether that is 1 pet or 3 or more Your family is my priority always. I create a calm, predictable environment where pets feel safe, understood, and cared for in my Home or Yours. I will respect your home, your space, your privacy and the trust you placed in me.
