About: Hi, I'm Sam, I have been a dogwalker/ pet sitter for more than 12 years. I'm a graduate of Dog Tech Academy and I'm also Pet CPR certified. I also volunteered. at SF Animal Control Center where I take care of all breeds of dogs. At the SF Animal Center I took classes in animal behavior, training and walking. I offer daytime walks around your neighborhood parks and in-house visits for your furry friends. I am also available for dog boarding or sittings at your place.. I live in Cathedral City and I have transportation so location can be flexible. References provided upon request. Thanks! Sam I currently have an open schedule so dogs that I take care of get my full attention. I also take one dog at a time, unless they are dogs that come from the same household. I have a large fenced yard and a gated front area so dogs are safe when they stay at my house. They are also welcome in every area of my home. I follow instructions provided by the pet owner when sitting at the dog's home.
“Geri was the best! Don't be fooled by her stern-looking profile photo; she is anything but! Super stylish and kind, with a huge heart. Our Roxy was very happy with her stay with Geri, and her home is beautiful, and every detail was accounted for in making it super doggy friendly. Her lil pup is also very sweet and got along very well with our picky, not-usually-a-dog-person dog, Roxy, which says a lot. Anyway, look no further, we highly recommend choosing Geri for your doggy needs!!”

“Angelica is super. My Bella still has a lot of puppy energy and she loves other dogs. I love that she gets time with another doggo and she gets a little walkie in. Social time and a walk for her, 5 stars. Thank you!!!!”

“This was the best experience. Sam was caring and professional and my dog kept kissing him when she left. If your looking for a pet sitter in Palm Springs go no further. I received constant emails, photos and videos of my happy young dog.”

“Shelly is wonderful!! And my little guy had a great time staying with her…he was all smiles and energy when I picked him up! Thanks again, Shelly for taking such wonderful care of him.”

“Sierra was great! She has cared for both my Siberian Husky and my Doberman a couple times, most recently for a full week. She kept me informed throughout their stay, sending me daily text updates and photos. I always felt confident that my dogs were happy, comfortable, and receiving excellent care. On the return leg of my most recent trip, I ran into flight delays and was going to be several hours late picking them up. Sierra had no problem accommodating the change and graciously kept them until I was able to arrive. I truly appreciated her flexibility and would not hesitate to trust her with my dogs again.”

“Kevin was great. His communication was fabulous keeping us posted on our little boy. He even sent pictures, which we really appreciated. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to know their pet is in good hands.”

“Mary is truly a godsend. My doggy boarding place shut down and I had never used to Rover app before. It took a minute from meeting Mary to know that I found the perfect person to watch and care for my fur-baby Gigi. She is great about updating with notes and photos of your dogs stay and I know after one stay that Mary is the best!”

“Absolutely the best. I have a difficult dog, and Candace was extremely confident and loving with her. I have full peace of mind when she's watching my dog. Thank you Candace!”

“Judith was amazing. She was very good at communicating and sent me lots of pictures of my dog (even though my dog is camera shy). She was really flexible and worked with me when my schedule changed a bit. I will be picking to send Vexy to her house next time we need a Rover.”

“Amazing job looking after our Weimaraner while we were out on holiday for a week. So flexible and understanding when our flight got delayed, and kept us updated with pics. Thank you again Whitney and Justin you guys are the best!”

“Alan and Joe were wonderful! We left out elderly dog with them for the night and they treated him like royalty. Warm and friendly, with a lovely home. Highest recommendation.”

“I m so glad i found larry and jason - they are so great with my cane corsos who are 14 months and have a lot of playful energy. Jason played with them a lot while they stayed and they came home very happy, well exercised and had a good night sleep - jason is calm and laid back and has a lot of experience with difference dog breeds/ personalities. so he handled my pups really well. Trust is important with dog sitters and i will definitely have them take care of my pups again when i m in the Palm Springs area because i believe my pups were in Good hands. I ll def recommend them to others!!”

“CJ does a great job caring for our two shy cats. She has good ideas on how to approach them and we really enjoy and appreciate the notes she sends for their "report card". We hope to use CJ in the future anytime we are away from home.”

“Such a blessing to have Matthew watch over our fur babies! He was attentive, responsive and dedicated to keeping our babies safe and secure during our vacation. Daily updates and fast responses, even though we were halfway around the globe. He adapted to a problem while we were gone, and resolved it for us without complaint. If you’re thinking about him, don’t think twice, just book!”

About: I’ve been caring for cats for most of my life, i grew up in a home with cats both young and old. Since I was 10 years old, my family has trusted me to care for our cats independently, giving me years of hands-on experience with feeding, cleaning litter boxes, administering basic care, and making sure each cat feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I understand that every cat has a unique personality, and I’m committed to providing patient, reliable, and attentive care so that my clients can have peace of mind while you’re away. I am also experienced with exotic animals such as rodents, snakes, frogs, and insects, having owned and taken care of them in the past.
“Samantha watched our senior cat Jack for ten days during the heat wave. She was reliable and punctual and made sure Jack didn’t get dehydrated. She cleaned up after him when he threw up. He was persnickety for a few days at the beginning but Samantha persisted and won him over. She is a rock star!”

“I knew our cats were in good hands with Molly all week long! We were away for a trip and she was reliable and communicative the whole time, I didn't need to worry about a thing. Plus our normally reserved cat walked right up to her for a nose boop when they initially met--a terrific match!”

“Henny was very good with my beautiful orange Biscuit kitty cat!!! So glad my kitty got some love when I couldn't be there! Henny was responsive to my initial request, reliable with all visits, and came when I needed her to come for our meet n greet, even tho i had to leave short notice. I'm very grateful I found her and now I feel free to leave home when I need to. Thanks Henny.”

About: I have lived with two cats for the past 25 years of my life. In fact, I live with two now and I can admit that they are the bosses of me. I have always adopted kitties from shelters, saving lives is so important. I know all of the secret cat scratching areas and to avoid the tummy unless given permission (and even then it's a trap!) Cats are finicky and don't typically like change. But I've found that my calm demeanor and "cat voice" makes kitties come out of their shell. if past experience dictates, your kitties will likely love me and I will show them all of the respect for their domain that they command.

About: I’ve always loved cats and my daughter currently owns 3, which are very friendly to visiting cats. Cats are such unique and fun creatures and we look forward to taking care of yours!

“Angelica was AMAZING. So accommodating to my schedule, and was incredibly sweet with my 2 cats, one of which has special needs and behaviors, so it was very meaningful to me! Absolutely revommend 💕💕💕💕”

About: I provide calm, attentive care for dogs and cats in a home where I only take pets from one household at a time. Your pets stay together and are never mixed with unfamiliar animals, creating a low-stress, comfortable environment. With over 10 years of experience, I’m comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and administering medication. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for like they’re at home. While I don’t have a private yard, I’m close to dog-friendly outdoor areas and take dogs out regularly for walks and fresh air. • One household at a time (no mixing with other pets) • Full-time supervision (I work from home) • Calm, clean home environment • Frequent photo updates so you always know how they’re doing Feel free to reach out with any questions, I’m happy to set up a quick meet & greet to make sure it’s the right fit for you and your pet 😊 I work from home and have a flexible schedule so I am available to give your pet all the love, attention and exercise they need throughout the day! “Mary did an outstanding job looking after my precious boy, Cornelius. The photos and comments she sent were adorable and gave me peace of mind. It was a delight to come home to a happy cat that had been loved, cared for, and pampered in my absence. I am lucky to have found Mary and would re-book her in a heartbeat. I can’t recommend her enough.”

About: I'm a cat lover with a kitty of my own, ensuring your feline feels safe, loved, and stress-free while you're away. Because your cat deserves more than just a sitter they deserve a friend.

About: I’ve honestly never gone a year growing up without having a cat, when I was born my parents already had a kitty & through the rest of my life we always had a cat. Our oldest is 14 years old so I’ve cared for him my entire childhood/adulthood. I’ve grown up with him :) when I was 17 I adopted a kitty found under a trailer. He was 6 weeks old, he’s now 4 years old and I genuinely believe he’s my soulmate in cat form. I taught him how to use a litter box because he had never seen one before and how to properly eat cat food. He was so funny to raise. Gizmo was my first ever cat that I got to raise fully on my own, I learned a lot more responsibility doing it on my own & it has made me grow even more fond of kitties. I’ve cared for cats before on Rover & have always done my best to make them comfortable around me because sometimes it takes awhile for them to warm up to you!

About: Choosing a pet sitter is an act of trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. For years, I've been trusted to care for beloved pets and the homes they live in, and I would be honored to earn your trust as well. My goal is simple: to give you complete peace of mind, knowing your pet is safe, happy, and receiving the same thoughtful, attentive care you provide at home. I have decades of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Throughout my life, I've had the privilege of caring for my own pets as well as those of family and friends, including senior animals with special needs. I'm equally comfortable with small dogs, large breeds, energetic pets, and those who simply need a slower, gentler pace. Every pet is unique. I take the time to learn their routine, personality, and communication style so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I'm experienced with senior pets, shy or anxious animals, and multi-pet households. I'm also comfortable administering oral medications and injections when needed, while paying close attention to any changes in behavior or health. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or mine (when appropriate), you can expect dependable communication, regular photo updates, and patient, compassionate care. I'll treat your home with respect and your pet like a member of my own family. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I have a highly flexible schedule and am available to provide attentive, reliable care for your pets. I can accommodate drop-in visits, walks, overnight stays, and in-home care (when appropriate). I enjoy having the flexibility to give pets the time, attention, and companionship they deserve. Please reach out so we can discuss your pet’s needs and create the best care plan for your schedule. I believe the best care starts with understanding each pet’s individual needs, routine, and personality. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or providing care in my own home (when appropriate), their safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. In your home, I will maintain your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication needs, and the familiar environment they know and trust. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. For pets staying in my home, I provide a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I have a completely fenced and secure yard, and pets are welcome to relax indoors in a climate-controlled home environment at all times. Living in a warm climate, I am very mindful of heat safety and make sure pets are comfortable and never exposed to excessive temperatures. I also enjoy providing enrichment and exercise appropriate for each pet’s personality and energy level. When it’s a good fit, I’m happy to include friendly, social dogs in outings such as walks or trips to the dog park with my own dog, who is fully vaccinated, neutered, and enjoys the company of other dogs. Every pet is different, and my goal is always to provide dependable, loving care that feels as close to home as possible.

Your dogs feeding schedule and foods are important as well.
“I've never left my new rescue dog with anyone and I didn't think he'd do well with a lot of dogs at a normal day care because he can get overwhelmed and defensive. Judith is a dog person. She understands them and was a great sitter. Once Goedy and her dog got to know each other they played and wrestled all day! I felt very comfortable knowing he was in a safe place and also having fun. Would 1000% leave my pup with Judith again.”

“Geraldine was very flexible and willing to take our beagle on a short notice. Geraldine was booked 24 hrs in advance to watch Honey while my husband & I went to a spa. We booked Geraldine for another successful evening of dog sitting in her home during our vacation in Palm Springs. Geraldine was a good match for dog sitting our chill 8 1/2 year old beagle. (We tipped her in cash, not using the Rover app).”

“I loved working with Whitney! She had a dog that my dog could play with… She gave me regular photo updates and video updates, which was awesome! She was quick to respond, and really easy to work with! I highly recommend her!”

“This was the first time booking with Anthony. He responded to our request in a timely manner and was agreeable to take our dog on Thanksgiving day (that in itself was great). He was on time for a meet and greet, and was very knowledgeable about the care of dogs in general. We were instantly comfortable with him and our dog was too. The drop off, stay, and pickup were easy. We will definitely use Anthony again. Thanks for taking good care of our boy!”

“We were out of town for our honeymoon and leaving our dog behind was honestly one of the hardest parts, Claire made the entire experience stress-free. She went above and beyond caring for our dog, kept us updated, and treated him like her own. Coming home to a happy, well-cared-for pup meant everything to us. Reliable, kind, communicative, and genuinely amazing at what she does . We are so grateful and will be booking Claire again in the future!”

“I had a wonderful experience with Molly and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate care. She was professional, communicative, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. I always felt confident that my pet was in great hands, and I appreciated the updates and photos that gave me peace of mind while I was away. Chewbacca was happy, well cared for, and excited to see her each visit, which says a lot. She was dependable, attentive to my pet's needs, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. I’m grateful for the excellent care and will definitely be booking with Molly again!”

“Sarah was great with my two boys. She went out of her way to make sure they both felt comfortable and even carried my little pup at first because he was pretty tiny to keep up with my older dog. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.”

About: I am a lifelong animal lover with a B.S. in Animal Science, veterinary clinic experience, and a variety of work history with animals spanning 5+ years. My greatest accomplishment may be personal though: training and caring for our family dog. I have spent a lifetime loving and learning about animals, and I promise to provide the utmost care for your beloved pet. I'm currently between jobs due to a career change so my schedule is flexible and caring for your pet will be my top priority. I treat client's homes with the same respect I treat my own home. My house is not available for pet sitting unless hypoallergenic breed.
“Chris is terrific! We are in Palm Springs for the film festival and were able to squeeze in another movie last minute and Chris is our hero or we should say Rosies hero. He came last minute and took her for a walk.”

About: My daughter Ary and I run this business together. We own a house in a prime location 1 mile from the airport. We are both huge animal lovers! Dogs are amazing. Every single dog has their own little unique personality and I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love. My daughter and I run this business together and one of us is always home so your pet will get plenty of attention and never left on their own, I have a fenced yard that is very secure and I never leave the dogs out there on their own. Animals have the run of the house, & they are allowed on all furniture.
About: I grew up in a home that adopted cats & dogs and was the prime caregiver since animal's lives and happiness are close my heart. I believe in SPOILING them, not giving them all of the treats, but in giving them tons of attention and activity. Zonking them out at night so they have the best night's sleep. I love all dogs, tiny to giants and long-haired too. I laugh at zoomies. My animal voice disarms them quickly so even the most nervous cats or dogs warm up to me in time. I respect boundaries and listen/watch body language so that neither of us are uncomfortable. I love to go on walks with them, letting them smell every flower along the way. I love playing tug of war or chasing each other or throwing a ball for hours. They are such special little beings and deserve the best care. With me, they would be loved on, scratched, belly rubbed, or brushed to their delight! I work from home and set my schedule. So, I would be available to watch your furbabies during the times that you need, overnights, or just daily drop-bys. All I need is wifi and if it's the summer, AC. I am happy to bring any cat-friendly dogs into my home. Both of my cats LOVE dogs. But your furbabies would have to have up-to-date vaccinations to do so. I'm happy to have them here. If they like walks, I go on one daily for about an hour. If I need to, I can split that walk in two, no worries. Spending time with them at a dog park. Throwing the ball or playing outside with their favorite toy is also something that I would enjoy doing. I am happy to find what each furbaby needs and to meet it. I love getting to know animals and their specific qualities/likes/dislikes and meeting their needs and having fun. The whole idea to me is that if their humans are out of town. having fun, they should have an equal amount of fun too!
About: Hi, I’m Henny. I have been playing and caring for cats and dogs for the past 25 years, but I gained my patience, compassion, and deep love for pets when I began volunteering at the animal shelter. I became more comfortable of all breeds and sizes. This continues on with looking after family friends’ pets which I really enjoyed. I currently have a mixed terrier named Lucy. She is estimated to be 13 years young. I will care for your fur-baby like my own. I am a yoga teacher with varying work hours but I’m never out of the house for more than couple of hours. I am available for overnight persisting at your home to minimize pet stress and happy to drop in for visit. I have Big fenced backyard with plenty of space to sniff around and be free. I often hang around in my backyard with the pups to enjoy the fresh air or some sun rays.
“This was our first time using Rover, and therefore our first time having Jon walk our dog. We asked Jon to come by each day at 7, as it gets pretty hot here in the desert quite early in the morning. Sammi is used to hour long walks as well. We can say Jon did not disappoint! He was at our house every morning at 7 on the nose and gave our Sammi a full hour walk each day. They walked a mile plus on each journey and Sammi looked forward to seeing him every day. Could not have asked for a better experience!”

About: I grew up on a farm in England with working dogs, which gave me a love for animals and led me to a life working professionally with them. After 32 years of running my own pet care business in Los Angeles, I relocated to the Coachella Valley where I continue to walk, exercise, and socialize dogs, while also working as a dog trainer. I'm available Monday thru Friday from 7am until 5pm, so we can work out walks and visits depending on your schedule and your dog's needs. Your dog will always be walked on leash, with the exception of fenced dog parks. Dogs can be crated during transport, if that makes them more comfortable. With my many years of experience, I know exactly how to work with dogs with a focus on the safety, calm, and happiness of the animal.

I pride myself on being reliable, punctual, and attentive, but most importantly, I genuinely love dogs—and they know it. When you’re done booking, be sure to tell your dog I said hi. I’m semi-retired, which means I have the flexibility to provide reliable, around-the-clock care for your pets. Your dog won’t be squeezed into a schedule—they’ll have consistent attention, supervision, and companionship. As a longtime dog owner myself—sharing my home with an Olde English Sheepdog, Border Collie, Shih Tzu, and Miniature Poodle—I’m experienced with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and personalities. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own—with patience, attention, and genuine affection. In my home, your rules. I'm fine sleeping with dogs. I'll feed and play on your established schedule. I'll order in if the dogs can't be left alone.

“Angelica is super. My Bella still has a lot of puppy energy and she loves other dogs. I love that she gets time with another doggo and she gets a little walkie in. Social time and a walk for her, 5 stars. Thank you!!!!”

“Emma was amazing with our 2 boys. This was their first time with a dog sitter & they came back looking extremely happy. Emma was very responsive within a minute of each message. We even forgot to pack the dog food with last minute packing & she went to the store and got our boys some food. We will definitely be rebooking her while we are here in Palm Springs!! 10/10 👌🏾”

“Samantha was very responsive, sent pictures and a video of my dog, and was very kind and generous when I was late for dropping off and picking up my dog. The home and backyard was a great environment for my siberian husky and she was great to work with. I would absolutely recommend her help to anyone needing a dog sitter if you're in the area.”

“Stephen & Mike are awesome dog-dads! Olaf was comfortable and taken care of very well. Mike updated me often during the stay and was very attentive to Olaf’s needs, especially since it was Olaf’s first visit. I’ll definitely have Olaf cared for by Stephen & Mike again.”

“Monte loved his stay with Maggie! Her home is full of play toys, doggie beds and a fenced back yard to play in. She also sent pictures of their walks together and his buddy Jacob who was also staying with them. I will always contact Maggie to take care of my boy -he was well loved and treated like a prince while we were away!”

“Jennifer took great care of my baby girl 🐶 (PomChi) while I was away for a few days for work. I got regular pictures and updates that let me know my baby was doing well. Will definitely be rebooking as my dog clearly enjoyed herself during her stay— Jennifer has a clean safe home and lovely dog Stella and I think my little girl made a friend! She was exhausted when we got home so I know she had a good time!”

About: I grew up around dogs my whole life, I've raised 3 dogs in the past and am now raising 3 more of my own. I don’t like to have more than 2 dogs at a time so I can make sure they’re good taken care of. I am a stay at home mom so I’m here for most of the day, it fits perfectly because I will be here watching over your fur babies. Hello and welcome! All dogs are our family! I have 3 dogs of my own who have their own room where they sleep in. Every morning we take them go out to the backyard to go potty. If your dog isn't friendly to other dogs no need to worry I will make sure my dogs are not outside and no where near them. I let them run around here in my house as well and I also have a doggy gate in my hallway where they can lay down and relax.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes since I was a young girl, and animals have always been a natural part of my life. I’ve rescued dogs throughout my adulthood and loved every breed, personality, and quirky soul that’s come my way. Even cats — despite my allergies — tend to walk right up to me, which always makes me smile. I’ll still care for them with love (and a little help from allergy meds). I’m an empath with a deep, intuitive connection to animals. Nervous, shy, senior, or sensitive pets usually relax around me quickly. I read their body language, respect their boundaries, and create a calm, predictable environment where they feel safe and understood. I also bring professional caregiving skills to my pet care. As a retired massage therapist and longtime caregiver, I can offer gentle pet massage, calming touch, and support for aging, compassionate end of life care and support or anxious dogs. I’m comfortable providing wound care, administering medications, and injections for diabetic animal when needed. What truly sets me apart is the combination of lifelong love of animals, my experience, intuition, and genuine compassion. Your pet will be cared for with patience, warmth, and the same steady presence I’ve brought to every animal I’ve loved. When I am caring for your loved one I commit to your Pet only. No other side jobs. No leaving to walk or feed another animal. I serve one family at a time whether that is 1 pet or 3 or more Your family is my priority always. I create a calm, predictable environment where pets feel safe, understood, and cared for in my Home or Yours. I will respect your home, your space, your privacy and the trust you placed in me.
