“I contacted Matthew at the very last minute to see if he could board my dog starting that very same day - 3 hours notice. My husband and I were at a pet friendly vrbo with our two dogs and found out that they would only allow one. He got back to me right away and was able to accommodate me. He and his partner took in our rambunctious rescue Dachshund Hans and took excellent care of him all weekend. Hans has high energy and separation anxiety and they were undaunted by that. They have a lovely home with a big back yard and two adorable dogs of their own who were great playmates. Photos they sent showed fun times and some good cuddling with the humans. I can't recommend these gents enough and will always get in touch with them when we come to the Palm Springs area with our pooches.”

I was so anxious to leave Brownie with a stranger, but Katie constantly provided me a peace of mind by sending me tons of pictures. I felt so bad when Brownie made a scene when Katie tried to leave him by himself for a very short amount of time to run the errand, so she eventually had to cancel and stay with him all the time during his stay. I felt so sorry, but she was so kind and told me that puppies can be like Brownie when in a strange place. She was very patient with Brownie, and I really appreciate it. I cared for and trained my dog his whole life, especially in his old age before his passing. I also have babysat for many years, and have experience with kids and pets alike as a result. I’m a college student at USC working a remote internship while I stay with my parents this summer. As a result, I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and would love to work with you to create a working schedule! We have a fenced front/backyard with a pool. If you would like, I can keep your pets only in the front yard for playing if you would like them away from the pool. We have a large yard and a large house with plenty of room for your pet to play!

About: I've had dogs all my life, currently have a 3 year old Husky mix (50lbs), who LOVES other dogs. I've successfully crate trained pups, although my current set-up with Goose, our Husky, he has a built in dog home inside our condo, along with a doggy door to our patio, which has alleviated any need for a crate. I work from home, part-time marketing job, allowing me to watch dogs, take them on walks, throughout the day. Outside of taking and picking up my daughter from school, and normal errands around town, I'm at home throughout the week and weekends. Goose, our 3 year old Husky, has a large enclosure I built underneath the stairs that is secured with a dutch door with ample room for him to walk around. My condo (1,600 square ft) has an fully enclosed outdoor patio with both a rock area and fake grass pee pad, with a doggy door which is always open, for Goose (and your pup) to freely go back and forth. My condo community itself is extremely dog friendly with nicely manicured walkways, along with a golf course that wraps around the complex - ideal for taking pups on walks.

Every single dog has their own little unique personality and I’ve never met a dog I didn’t love. About: I grew up in a home that adopted cats & dogs and was the prime caregiver since animal's lives and happiness are close my heart. I believe in SPOILING them, not giving them all of the treats, but in giving them tons of attention and activity. Zonking them out at night so they have the best night's sleep. I love all dogs, tiny to giants and long-haired too. I laugh at zoomies. My animal voice disarms them quickly so even the most nervous cats or dogs warm up to me in time. I respect boundaries and listen/watch body language so that neither of us are uncomfortable. I love to go on walks with them, letting them smell every flower along the way. I love playing tug of war or chasing each other or throwing a ball for hours. They are such special little beings and deserve the best care. With me, they would be loved on, scratched, belly rubbed, or brushed to their delight! I work from home and set my schedule. So, I would be available to watch your furbabies during the times that you need, overnights, or just daily drop-bys. All I need is wifi and if it's the summer, AC. I am happy to bring any cat-friendly dogs into my home. Both of my cats LOVE dogs. But your furbabies would have to have up-to-date vaccinations to do so. I'm happy to have them here. If they like walks, I go on one daily for about an hour. If I need to, I can split that walk in two, no worries. Spending time with them at a dog park. Throwing the ball or playing outside with their favorite toy is also something that I would enjoy doing. I am happy to find what each furbaby needs and to meet it. I love getting to know animals and their specific qualities/likes/dislikes and meeting their needs and having fun. The whole idea to me is that if their humans are out of town. having fun, they should have an equal amount of fun too!
About: Growing up with multiple pets sparked my passion for animal care, and I’ve been officially caring for dogs for the past four years. Friends and family regularly entrust me with their pets, whether they’re away or unable to meet their pet’s needs. I have experience with dogs of various ages, from playful puppies as young as 3 months to senior dogs up to 12 years old. Although I work part-time, I prioritize pet care in my daily routine. I ensure consistent feeding, cleaning, and observation, and I maintain a flexible routine to consistently meet the animals’ needs throughout the week. I understand that pets can sometimes feel anxious when their owners are away, so I focus on making them feel safe and comfortable in their environment. About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. From my childhood German Shepherd to my first puppy, I’ve always had a special connection with dogs. That explains why I live happily with two fur-babies, Rigatoni and Millie. Between caring for my clients pets and pets of my own over the last decade, I believe I have attained the necessary skills to properly care for any house pet no matter the size or temperament. I understand the love and attention our fellow canine friends need. I make it my responsibility to keep my client's pets active, regular, well-fed and properly groomed. I stick to a schedule and prefer a 24-hour notice, but I can definitely remain lenient with last minute conflicts as we all have them at one point or another. That said, I work from home and can certainly be flexible with your schedule. I am almost always willing to make special accommodations. I graduated from UCLA and work as a media planner for Ohio State University. In my free time, I’m always looking for flexible ways to combine my passions with work. I work from home and am free every day of the week. I live in a home with a large fenced backyard and tons of shade. I enjoy walking my dogs in the evening when it has cooled down a bit but I am totally willing and able to take your fur baby on as many walks as they need to stay healthy and happy. Additionally, I can always crate your fur baby or keep them in a private room if necessary.
