“Nina is THE ABSOLUTE BEST EVER! She was a great sitter for my baby girl Cookie. Cookie recently got surgery and had to take medication and Nina was GREAT taking good care of my baby girl. The fact that she has a background with dog training is the absolute BEST since Cookie is a puppy she’s so curious and gets into everything. Nina gave me some tips on how to start training her and THEY HAVE WORKED WONDERS!! I’m so glad her home is so pet friendly and that all the a dogs that she has get along great with others! As a first time mommy I was a bit nervous leaving her there at first but let me tell you I AM SO HAPPY I DID! She would send me constant updates on my baby (since I’m a helicopter mommy) and was supper understanding and helpful about it. It truly made me feel at ease. When I came to get her she was so happy and made so many new friends. You can genuinely tell the sitters that actually care for and love your baby as much as you do. I had such anxiety when I found out we could not bring him into Joshua Tree National Park and we had planned a full day of hiking. About: My family has had dogs ever since I was a baby. I didn’t own my own dog until I met Buddy and we have since then been inseparable. We go to the dog park every single day to play with all the other loving dogs. I’m currently working from home and am very flexible. Can take your pets for a walk and play with them outside or inside. They will be loved. I am proactive and will encourage the pups to run around outside, play fetch, and wrestle each other. Buddy would love more friends to play with.
About: There’s just nothing like the happiness a dog (or cat) brings to our lives! They’re always there for us, and they ask so little of us in return. Our pets have an amazing, giving spirit, and it’s definitely their selflessness that inspired me to become a pet sitter! I believe that animals need just as much love as we do, so I want to put a smile on as many faces as I possibly can. Not to mention, I love that I can give back to my community at the same time by providing owners with peace of mind while they’re away. I can’t wait to meet your pet! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pet and care expectations. No one knows your pet better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new clients! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I know how difficult it can be to be away from your best friend, so I’m here to make that time as easy as possible! When your pet is in my care, I’ll always send tons of updates along so you can be in the loop on everything we’ve done during the day. I’m happy to send detailed information on anything that you need to know just how they’re doing—from behaviors to exercise times to meal prep. Likewise, those updates will always have accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun your pet and I are having together! I’m also very easy to get in touch with, so I’ll always be on call in case you have any questions or concerns. I’m available for drop ins, walks and short overnights. I am in school finishing my masters degree but tend to be pretty flexible overall, if you have a question send a message! I do drop in visits to your home and follow all instructions left. Times and expectations are agreed upon before arrival. I can let pets outside to use the restroom, feed them, give medication etc just ask! I also had a diabetic cat so I can perform injections if needed.
“Shawna is fantastic! We had a great initial meet and greet with my dog Winslow who has a lot of stranger danger. When she came for the real walk Winslow recognized her, no barking at all which was a relief for me. Shawna also brought some treats for him which was very thoughtful.”
About: I have taken care of both domestic and exotic animals all my life. I have lived in mostly farm lands. I have experience with every situation you can think of from timid, hyper, aggressive, and disabled. I work from home so my schedule is extremely open! Whether you have an easy to handle pet or one that is a little more difficult. I have the experience and patience for it all. Currently, I work from home. I also clean houses. My schedule is never really set in stone so I’m very flexible . I am also able to do same day sometimes depending on what I have going on that day! I will not just be checking in on your pet ! If I come in and happen to see your pet had an accident. I will let you know and I will also clean it up for you! I will follow every request that you have whether you have a fenced in yard or you prefer the dog to be walked with the leash! As far as cats, I am very aware that they do like to run out so I always make sure to squeeze in and out of the door very carefully to make sure none of your pets escape! I take a detailed note of how you like things being done and the time as well to not change your pets schedule too much from the norm. I will take picture documentation if needed and make sure they get fed the correct amount and the way they like it as we know some pets like their food prepped a certain way! This is your baby. I will make sure that they feel loved and safe with me.
“We hired Boston to do bi weekly walks for our two pups, Koa and Jax. Koa has always been very wary of strangers and has a lot of "stranger danger" related anxiety. Boston has been great on working with her the last few walks despite her protests, and has been very patient and understanding. Jax, our younger pup, has warmed up pretty well to him already! Boston has always been on time and let us know in advance when he is coming over. He has been very friendly, professional, and kind toward our dogs. We highly recommend!”

“Nina is THE ABSOLUTE BEST EVER! She was a great sitter for my baby girl Cookie. Cookie recently got surgery and had to take medication and Nina was GREAT taking good care of my baby girl. The fact that she has a background with dog training is the absolute BEST since Cookie is a puppy she’s so curious and gets into everything. Nina gave me some tips on how to start training her and THEY HAVE WORKED WONDERS!! I’m so glad her home is so pet friendly and that all the a dogs that she has get along great with others! As a first time mommy I was a bit nervous leaving her there at first but let me tell you I AM SO HAPPY I DID! She would send me constant updates on my baby (since I’m a helicopter mommy) and was supper understanding and helpful about it. It truly made me feel at ease. When I came to get her she was so happy and made so many new friends. You can genuinely tell the sitters that actually care for and love your baby as much as you do. It makes me so happy to know that there are humans like Nina! Thank you so much for everything! Can’t wait to rebook soon!!!”
