About: I have an overwhelming amount of experience when it comes to care for dogs. I was adamant, at a very young age, about volunteering at as many local shelters as possible. I also have never not had a dog in my care. I grew up in a home made extra warm by 5 schnauzers and even into my adult years I've owned my own dog, all rescues. A few I rehabilitated after they were neglected or abused. Dogs truly are a huge part of my life and I don't believe I'd be the same individual without them. Let me put it this way, I am the female Tom Hardy of Dogs haha! I work from home and so I am accessible to my pets and yours at all times! I’m also a very active individual. I like to hit the park or anywhere near a pond to take a jog or a walk(dependent on the weather of course). I have a fenced in dog run area for my pets and yours! Water is always accessible indoors and outdoors! Pets are also able to roam the house freely, and are worked with regularly with treats and praise!
“Felice was extremely friendly and welcoming. I am very thankful she was able to watch my fur baby while my friends and I were exploring Joshua Tree while waiting to check into our Airbnb. Highly recommend!”

“Awesome day sitter for my high energy baby! Leighton clearly loves animals and takes good care of them. She updated me throughout the day so I felt at ease with a new sitter. Pip was definitely pooped when she got home!”

“Although my daughter's service dog goes with us everywhere, we decided it was best to leave him in capable hands while we enjoyed a tip to the Living Desert near Palm Springs, CA. Nuvea was available last minute to care for Huckleberry in her home. He enjoyed a play date with a few fellow canines and a cat. Nuvea was able to accommodate treat time and dinner for him and excursions in her backyard. When we returned Huckleberry was happy and ready to resume his care for his girl. We were pleased he had a safe and cool home to rest in while in our absence. I highly recommend Nuvea and her happy pup safe home for care.”
“It was a pleasure meeting with Carl, He got good care of my pup and have a lovely house. I will ask Carl for help again when I’m back here for mineral spirits water. Thank you Carl!”

“What a wonderful experience with Alfonso being there at the last minute to help with my dogs while at Joshua Tree. He was a great caretaker, very kind and great with my girls. I will definitely recommend Alfonso and request his help in the future! 5 stars.”

“Very thankful to Juliann for taking great care of our dog while we went into the park for the day. We would definitely return if we come back to the area! Thanks, Juliann!”

“Viviana and her family are amazing. They took such fantastic care of my boy. Since he is a special needs dog, it takes someone special to give him the care he needs. Viviana did a fantastic job. I think he wanted to stay with her more than coming back home with me lol! I will be coming back to Viviana whenever my boy needs boarding or other care. Thank you!”

“April was so great with Jameson! I really appreciated the updates and it seemed like Jameson really enjoyed spending time with April and her family. Thank you all so much!”

About: Hi, I’m new to Rover and I’m so excited to have the chance to be a care sitter for your furry boy/girl! I’ve been raised around dogs from a variety of breeds since I was 10! I understand what our furry friends need for each stage of their life and their quirky qualities🐾 I have 2 large breed dogs and raised them how to sit, stay, down, drop it, and come as far as basic commands go, if there’s anything your pet needs considering training needs I’m eager to know and learn about them 😁 Either way, I love alllll dogs no matter the background, my focus is that they are cared and loved as if they were at home! I’m work from home—pet care fits right in my schedule since I’m home all day and am available to walk, feed, water, and train them as needed and on my breaks! I’m adaptable and fully flexible to your pets schedule, needs, and routine. I have medium and large sized crates as well as a 1200sq ft backyard fenced off if they want to get active any time of the day! If you have any toys for your furry friends to fetch or to chew bring them along!🐾 I am also within 5 min of the dog park and love taking my dogs to stretch their legs, so walks are with purpose and reward always! Please let me know if there are any accommodations I can provide and make for your pup and I’m happy to be of service. My upmost priority is to ensure your pup is having a comfortable, relaxing stay and is nurtured all the way through.
“I cannot say enough great things about Taura! My boys were with her two full days while I visited Joshua Tree and I had ZERO worries leaving them there. Laura was so welcoming and has such great space for dogs to run and play. This was great for them as we were on a cross-country road trip and they spent lots of time in the car. Taura was awesome at sending updates and videos, so I knew they were having fun the whole time. Taura is am amazing and interesting woman, and I think our paths will cross again. Taura- thank you from the bottom of my heart!!”

“Very kind couple that were super easy to work with and had a lovely home. They helped give me some much needed peace of mind by watching my dog over the span of a week as I worked on a project.”

“I was a nervous dog mom leaving our golden retriever puppy w a stranger in a city new to us. Well, gotta say Landon assuaged our concerns w his obvious knowledge of dogs and protocols, so we left our puppy feeling confident all would go well. Landon fed our dog and sent videos of him happily eating and playing w two other sweet dogs. Landon also gave us his blessing to take extra time if we needed, which we didn’t but how gracious! Thank you Landon.”

“We are happy to find Geraldine. She has a dog friendly home with secure outdoor space. Bliss was worn out by lots of running and playing with little Reese. We will be back!”

“I dropped my crazy 8 month old puppy off with Grey for the day while we explored non-friendly parts of Joshua Tree NP. It was so nice to let my puppy off leash and let her play with Billow! And I had Grey drop my pup off which was super helpful. I forgot to pack dinner for my pup and Grey fed her and sent her with extra food. You can tell that she really cares about the wellbeing of the dogs she cares for <3 Highly recommend! Your dog is in good hands with Grey and her dog crew! Highly recommend”

About: I recently moved to south Florida. I’ve used Rover in the past for my own doggies and have now decided to offer my home in service! I’ve been caring for dogs my whole life and at age 16 a wolf puppy came to me and I cared for her until she passed 15 years later. I currently have three doggies Otis my husky, Raphael our little rescue mix and Zoe my blue heeler both friendly with other dogs! I am self employed and at home all day! All the animals have space to be separated if need be! I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! Let me know if I can assist you! Blessings! I own my own business offering plant medicine and wellness retreats. So I’m home all day to provide fun and engaging care for your angel. I have 3 kitties and 3 dogs all very socialized. They are friendly, playful and non aggressive. It’s kind of a zoo but we love it!
“Tony took excellent care of our dog! He played with him and was very attentive. He communicated with us throughout our dog’s stay to let us know how he was doing. We highly recommend Tony!”
