“Lacey is great!!! I have a very anxious and neurotic min-pin mix and Lacey was very Patient and understanding. She even offered to take him for a night BEFORE the scheduled time for her to watch him, just so he could get used to her. That was absolutely unexpected and such a kind gesture. I will 100% be booking dog sitting with Lacey again! She’s so great!!!! Thank you again!!”
About: I have lived all my life in the South Bay. I went to school in Rolling Hills, I went to College in Long Beach. I have worked in the Aerospace industry since the 1980's. In 2012 rescued a Pitbull from a abusive life. So I immersed myself in learning the Dog Whispers' training methods. I have had a dog ever since my third birthday. I have worked with Dachshunds, Schnauzer Terriers, Golden Retrievers, Pitbull's, Poodles, Shih Tzu, and Beagles. I believe all dogs have been given to mankind to show us how to live life. Unconditional love, live in the moment, don't worry and greet everyone with excitement and love. In conclusion, I will always treat you family member as my own and love taking care of them. I am retired so I am very flexible. I currently Walk dogs for elderly people at the Apache Mobile Home park. I am looking to expanding my services outside the park. I have fenced yard and my home is open to the dogs I care for and I have water and treats available. Your pets are welcomed to my couches and dog beds or pet cage.
“Alice was great and i could tell Harley had a good time playing with the other dogs there. She constantly provides updates with pictures & is quick to respond to all my messages. It definitely made me a lot better leaving harley for the weekend”

“Viviana was amazing!!! When we went to go pick up our dog she didn’t even want to come home and would rather have stayed with them 🤣 that’s how much our dog loved Viviana and her husband! This was our first time having someone dog sit and it went absolutely prefect. I also received updates on how our dog was doing and that was the best! I will be re-booking with Viviana in the future! My husband and I were extremely pleased with the experience. Thank you all so much.”

“Nuvea was amazing! She has a great place and a real understanding of and attention to the needs of pets! She was so nice to work with and was incredibly understanding and accommodating when I messed up the dates of my trip and we had to extend our puppy’s stay! We will definitely be using her again!”

“I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Alice! From the moment I dropped off Zoe, I knew she was in great hands. Alice went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and happy throughout the stay. The communication was excellent—Alice sent regular updates and photos, which really put my mind at ease. Not only did Alice provide a safe and clean environment, but she also took the time to give Zoe plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. Zoe came home relaxed, happy, and well taken care of—it’s clear that Alice genuinely loves animals and knows how to care for them. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, caring, and professional dog boarder, I highly recommend Alice. I will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

“Geri was the best! Don't be fooled by her stern-looking profile photo; she is anything but! Super stylish and kind, with a huge heart. Our Roxy was very happy with her stay with Geri, and her home is beautiful, and every detail was accounted for in making it super doggy friendly. Her lil pup is also very sweet and got along very well with our picky, not-usually-a-dog-person dog, Roxy, which says a lot. Anyway, look no further, we highly recommend choosing Geri for your doggy needs!!”

“We left our dog Jade with Taura, and honestly, we weren’t sure she’d want to come back home — she had that good of a time! From the start, it was clear how kind, attentive, and genuinely loving Taura is with all dogs. Jade is usually pretty reserved, but she warmed up right away and looked so happy in all the updates we got! We could tell she was in great hands — getting tons of attention, and a peaceful, caring environment. Taura was extremely accommodating with us and is a very caring person!”

“Elizabeth was very kind and accommodating to our medium sized dog for two nights while we visited Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree National Park. Her property has plenty of outdoor space and is well-fenced in and secure. She was a generous caretaker for our pup, and we will certainly keep her in mind for our future trips to the area. Thank you!”

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats, and have been a huge animal lover my whole life. I’ve always been a sitter for friends and family in need and figured I might as well expand my services. I have a big home and yard, with plenty of grass and room to run. Our home is very pet friendly, and they pretty much are free to roam as they please. My husband and I keep the home clean, but cozy. We have kids, cats, and dogs and everyone gets along. We keep the upstairs blocked off so the cats have their own space to play and relax. There are tile floors for a cool place to nap, dog beds, cat trees, and plenty of toys. I’m a nurse and CPR certified, so your fur baby is safe with me. I only ask that your pet is friendly, and if you have a dog that they are a minimal barker as we like to keep our neighbors happy. I can help with potty training, bathing, and medicines too…whatever your pet needs. All you need to provide is your pets favorite food. I’ll take care of the rest. I work part time as a nurse, usually during the nights and my husband is a stay at home dad. I have plenty of time and energy to devote to your fur baby. I have a large home and yard with plenty of grass. There are also several dog parks within our community for your fur baby to play.
“We loved Johna. She was so patient and caring dealing with our two very old dogs. I felt like they were getting the best care possible. She provided reports 3 times a day and let us know how our antique fur kids were doing. You can tell when someone truly loves animals and it's clear that Johna does.”
“April took care of my dog Leo for almost two weeks. She sent updates of Leo playing and being so happy! When I picked Leo up, I could tell he didn’t want to leave. Thank you April for taking such good care of my pup when we were gone :)”

“Awesome with my older Great Dane! He loves going here. Megan is so sweet to try and comfort him when he gets anxious being away from mom & dad. We’ve used her a few times already and have another trip planned next month. We feel Cooper’s in excellent hands with Megan!”

“Alan and Joe were fantastic, and my dogs loved being there. I was nervous, as they’ve never stayed away from home, but Joe and Alan made them feel right home and calmed my nerves. We may have found our go-to sitters.”

“Sam is awesome! He always does a great job taking care of our Teddy. He sends tons of cute pics and always asks questions about his care to make sure Teddy gets the best while we are away. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter.”

“We were so fortunate to have Aricela watch our foster dog when we had to travel out of the area u expectedly. She accommodated a last minute meet & greet and patiently listened to everything we knew about the dog. She was kind in her interactions with our pup. When we took him back to board he was like a confident kindergartner…one look over his shoulder and away he went! She kept us apprised of how he was doing & send photos to validate it. Thank you so much Araceli.”

“Carl was the best Rover!!!!! Our dog Phoebe instantly bonded with him and his pups. Very clean house. Beautiful back yard for playing. He took great care of Phoebe and she adjusted great, which isn’t always the case. He send daily updates and even let Phoebe snuggle with him while sleeping, which she is used to at home. So nice she was welcomed as part of the family! We will definitely be using Carl in the future! 5/5 stars!”

“Nuvea was amazing! I had never left my cats with anyone before or taken them to anyone’s home to stay for the day, but I’m so happy I found Nuvea. She was so kind, my cats loved her, she has a clean and tidy home, and I’d definitely book with her again. About: I have taken care of dogs for eleven years. As of right now I have two german shepherd, husky mix 1 year olds. I got them when they were 4 weeks old, they are absolutely my best friends. We spend all the time together, we love playing fetch and chase. I’m kind of a stay at home dog mommy. I am not working, I stay at home with my fur babies. I have extra time to help others with their fur babies. I love being around dogs. Im very aware of surroundings, especially with a fur baby. Once when taking my babies on a walk, they were attacked by another dog and it made me become even more protective than I was. I know how it feels to have people not respect the rules that we make for our babies, so I will always be so respectful of everything that is expected/ not expected.

“Liz is the best, and our kitty is always in good hands! She always goes beyond the call of duty to ensure our kitty and home are in good hands! Can't recommend her enough.”

About: I have an overwhelming amount of experience when it comes to care for dogs. I was adamant, at a very young age, about volunteering at as many local shelters as possible. I also have never not had a dog in my care. I grew up in a home made extra warm by 5 schnauzers and even into my adult years I've owned my own dog, all rescues. A few I rehabilitated after they were neglected or abused. Dogs truly are a huge part of my life and I don't believe I'd be the same individual without them. Let me put it this way, I am the female Tom Hardy of Dogs haha! I work from home and so I am accessible to my pets and yours at all times! I’m also a very active individual. I like to hit the park or anywhere near a pond to take a jog or a walk(dependent on the weather of course). I have a fenced in dog run area for my pets and yours! Water is always accessible indoors and outdoors! Pets are also able to roam the house freely, and are worked with regularly with treats and praise!
About: Hey I’m Nat! I have 2 pups of my own, a poodle mix and a Dalmatian/Great Dane :) I’ve also taken care of my friends and families pets including puppies, a kitten and some aquatic turtles and fish while they traveled!! Im self employed so i work on my own schedule from home!! Gives me lots of free time to take your pups on walks and/or care for them in my home. I have a fenced yard and both my pups are socialized/ crate trained as well as having different parts of my home closed off so I’d be able to keep your pup safe depending on their needs whether they do best without other pups or are social and wanna play.

I have a flexible schedule and make pet care a priority in my daily routine. I’m available for check-ins, walks, feeding, playtime, and overnight care depending on your pet’s needs. I always make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and care while their owners are away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I make sure pets feel safe, loved, and stress-free in their own environment while keeping owners updated with messages and photos.
“Although my daughter's service dog goes with us everywhere, we decided it was best to leave him in capable hands while we enjoyed a tip to the Living Desert near Palm Springs, CA. Nuvea was available last minute to care for Huckleberry in her home. He enjoyed a play date with a few fellow canines and a cat. Nuvea was able to accommodate treat time and dinner for him and excursions in her backyard. When we returned Huckleberry was happy and ready to resume his care for his girl. We were pleased he had a safe and cool home to rest in while in our absence. I highly recommend Nuvea and her happy pup safe home for care.”

“Awesome day sitter for my high energy baby! Leighton clearly loves animals and takes good care of them. She updated me throughout the day so I felt at ease with a new sitter. Pip was definitely pooped when she got home!”

“What a wonderful experience with Alfonso being there at the last minute to help with my dogs while at Joshua Tree. He was a great caretaker, very kind and great with my girls. I will definitely recommend Alfonso and request his help in the future! 5 stars.”

“I cannot say enough great things about Taura! My boys were with her two full days while I visited Joshua Tree and I had ZERO worries leaving them there. Laura was so welcoming and has such great space for dogs to run and play. This was great for them as we were on a cross-country road trip and they spent lots of time in the car. Taura was awesome at sending updates and videos, so I knew they were having fun the whole time. Taura is am amazing and interesting woman, and I think our paths will cross again. Taura- thank you from the bottom of my heart!!”

“Lacey was able to watch my pup and get her in for day care on VERY short notice. she did a great job at making sure Milly was comfortable and happy with all the other dogs that she met at the house. I’m from out of town, but would not hesitate to have Lacey watch her again.”

“It was a pleasure meeting with Carl, He got good care of my pup and have a lovely house. I will ask Carl for help again when I’m back here for mineral spirits water. Thank you Carl!”

“Viviana and her family are amazing. They took such fantastic care of my boy. Since he is a special needs dog, it takes someone special to give him the care he needs. Viviana did a fantastic job. I think he wanted to stay with her more than coming back home with me lol! I will be coming back to Viviana whenever my boy needs boarding or other care. Thank you!”

“April was so great with Jameson! I really appreciated the updates and it seemed like Jameson really enjoyed spending time with April and her family. Thank you all so much!”

“Very kind couple that were super easy to work with and had a lovely home. They helped give me some much needed peace of mind by watching my dog over the span of a week as I worked on a project.”

“Elizabeth is awesome! She put up with my lack of schedule clarity with grace, and was super great with my mini dachshund who spent two days with her and her dogs when my group finally got organized. She was super communicative, clearly loves and understands dogs, has a great, safe and fenced yard, and was -in short- everything I hoped for and needed to pull off our Joshua Tree NP adventure. I recommend her unequivocally, and would ask her help again anytime I am in the area with my dog.”

“Amazing! She was very flexible with our time schedule requests and loved on our pupper. I would definitely use again and would recommend to others in the area. She lives in an easy proximity to J Tree as well.”

About: I’m a reliable, caring pet sitter who keeps routines consistent, provides personalized attention, ensures pets feel safe and comfortable, and gives plenty of love, playtime, and companionship. Pet care is part of my daily routine. I have two cats myself, so I prioritize consistent visits, feeding, walks, and attention to keep pets comfortable and safe. While I am not offering boarding or day care at my own home at this time, I am quite responsible in my treatment of other people's property while caring for their pets. I can follow directions, keep gates closed, and follow safety protocols.
About: As a vegan and former PETA staffer, I love and respect all animals. I also have veterinary technician, veterinary clinic, and animal shelter experience. I've rescued and cared for dogs (both large and small), cats, birds, rodents, reptiles, fish, horses and rabbits. I am completely dedicated to the safety, equality, and well-being of all animals. I work part-time as a photographer so have ample time to take care of your animal friends. And can, of course, provide you with some great photos to put your mind at ease while you're away from your fur babies! I am very active and love a good walk or hike. While I strive to always provide a fun, attention-filled experience, safety is my primary concern, so you can rest assured your animal friends will be in good hands for those times you can't be with them.

About: I've grown up with dogs, taking care of them regularly. Living in the desert has equipped me with the skills to care for animals in a harsh climate such as constantly providing water, scheduling walks out of the heat, and watching out for wildlife. I also volunteered at an animal shelter while I was in high school where I learned more about the needs of various animals, learning that each have their own personality! I'm currently home for the summer from college, so my hours are very flexible. I am available weekdays and weekends to help with feeding, walking, and just hanging out with your pets! I can easily commute to your home to care for your pet. I'm here to adapt to their needs and ensure that they are happy and healthy!

About: I have more than 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, including senior pets, special-needs animals, and medically complex pets. Most recently, I worked at a no-kill animal shelter in Southern California, where I worked with animals of different ages, personalities, and energy levels. I gained experience with recently surrendered pets, shy animals, senior pets, and animals adjusting to new environments. I also cared for my own diabetic dog, Tater, for three years, including twice-daily insulin injections and careful monitoring of his health and routine. That experience taught me how important consistency, observation, and patience are when caring for animals. I am comfortable administering medications, following detailed care instructions, and maintaining established routines. I work especially well with senior pets, anxious animals, and pets that need a calm, patient approach. As both a longtime pet owner and homeowner, I understand the trust people place in someone caring for their animals and home. My goal is simple: to keep your pets safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away. I work remotely as a technical writer, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend significant time at home with the pets in my care. This flexibility makes it easy for me to maintain feeding schedules, provide walks, administer medications if needed, and give pets the companionship and attention they are accustomed to receiving. I enjoy having animals around while I work and appreciate the comfort that a consistent, calm routine provides for them. I care for pets in their own homes whenever possible because familiar surroundings, routines, and schedules help reduce stress while their owners are away. Before each booking, I take time to learn about your pet's normal routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, favorite activities, and any behavioral or medical concerns. I follow care instructions carefully and provide regular updates so owners know their pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or overall well-being and will communicate any concerns promptly. My goal is to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible while providing a calm, safe, and dependable presence in your home.

If at my place, I am a very neat and clean person and my dog has a good sized yard to have plenty of space if it was to be shared.
About: Hello! Don't let my profile location deter you from reaching out, I have a very wide service area. I am available to care for all of your pets while you're away! Please contact me for a quote if you have a pet you'd like me to care for other than a dog or cat (submit it as a dog/cat request) ☺️ New to Rover? I have a discount code for you if you book your first service with me! I am available for night and evening drop-ins to feed and play with your pets. Do you work nights and hate leaving your babies alone? Are you going to a fancy dinner and want to make sure your pets are okay when you're gone? I can come by and give you some peace of mind. I can also care for other pets, including lizards, fish, hamsters, rabbits, etc. I am a huge animal lover. I adopted a senior dog years ago and he was the best dog ever, up until his very last day in December, 2023. Our household has water snails, fish, three cats, a dog, and a pig! I have experience with rabbits and hamsters and other small pets, and I have experience with special needs animals. My longest boarding to date was 5 months for a senior cat with Cerebellar hypoplasia. My schedule recently changed, so I am available on most days for drop-ins and walks. I also offer boarding, house sitting, and daycare. We are a very animal friendly household. I have a fenced yard and a kiddie pool so your doggos can play and keep cool! My piggy will be there to keep your baby company and I have a 14 year old kid who loves to snuggle and play with all your pets! Cats will enjoy their own space so they can feel comfortable ☺️ !!!Important Notes!!!: I love watching and caring for your snuggle bug(s)! However, I have to sleep too. If you can't pick up your pet before 7pm, one additional day of boarding or doggy daycare will be added to your booking. An additional fee will be added for dogs over 40 pounds. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. These are incidents that I will not risk repeating. Thank you so much for understanding!
About: I have helped professionals in the veterinary field groom and train animals. I have also been pet sitting for family and have had many pets throughout my life! I am currently a part-time student at Copper Mountain College, and work weekends at Hi-Desert Tails. I have a bit of free time as I have online classes! I will have to schedule pet care around my work, but I’m very flexible outside of that! I will be able to play with and take care of any dogs or cats, no matter the size or energy level! I can also easily crate if needed. Please let me know if there are cameras inside the home, and give written instructions so I don’t forget any details!
About: For many years I've taken care of animals. I have acquired an ability to adapt to the needs of specific pets. Whatever they need, I'm there. I'm detail oriented and very observant when it comes to animals. Rest assured, I will make sure your baby is taken care of to the best of my ability. Comfort and care are my priorities. I'm extremely open! I like to work around your schedule. I live with family right now and do online schooling. It's asynchronous meaning I can do it any time. I always keep my pets comfortable and clean. From grooming, to cleaning bedding and washing out bowls. I'm very cautious to any contaminates that can compromise the safety of a pet. Bacteria is especially rampant in outdoor areas, so I make sure my dogs are clean in the area they sleep/eat.

5/5 stars!”

“Jackson was very accommodating with drop off and pick up Times during the holiday season. He is very responsive to communication through the app. Chewy came back super happy. We will definitely use Jackson again.”

“Loved having Dana watch over my baby Bala. She was properly communicative with me with lovely photos, followed all the food instructions, and provided ample cuddles to my doggie. A pro caretaker.”

“Felice! Thank you so so much for taking care of our babies. We recommend Felice to anyone with anxious doggies. She does so well with them and made them both feel comfortable in seconds! Thankful to have found her 🙏🏼”

“Our pup Hamilton loved staying at Hugh and Mary’s! Lots of playtime with the other dogs and a comfortable, safe place to leave our dog while hitting the slopes. Highly recommend Hugh and Mary!”

“I had to book my pups very last minute, with the added complications of one having a recent injury still very much in the healing process. These guys totally put me at ease in what was a highly stressful situation- their home is spotless and yet perfect for dogs, my two girls instantly settled and I was sent the cutest updates. They made accommodations for the injurd pup and administered care. When we picked them up they were so chilled and happy. Highly recommend even if it does make it harder for me to book!”
