“Lacey took care of our dog during our visit to Joshua Tree National Park. We are so pleased with the care she provided. Her place is well set up for dogs. They have a play yard where the dogs can run around and play. Lacey is very attentive and gets to know the dogs. Our dog loves to play with others but managed to jump a fence out of the yard. Lacey diligently coached him back into the yard. She communicated with us about this incident and let us know what she would do to prevent it from happening again. Over the three days he was with her, he grew more comfortable, played out in the yard with other dogs without any other incidents, and just seemed at home at her place. We recommend Lacey to others who need care for their dogs when in the Yucca Valley area.”

“I dropped my crazy 8 month old puppy off with Grey for the day while we explored non-friendly parts of Joshua Tree NP. It was so nice to let my puppy off leash and let her play with Billow! And I had Grey drop my pup off which was super helpful. I forgot to pack dinner for my pup and Grey fed her and sent her with extra food. If you can't pick up your pet before 7pm, one additional day of boarding or doggy daycare will be added to your booking. An additional fee will be added for dogs over 40 pounds. Dogs under 1 year and/or "bully breeds" will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. By booking with me, you acknowledge that if your puppo damages property, you are responsible for any cost of repairs or replacement. When damage occurs, it is usually caused by pets that do not crate or have high anxiety when left alone for even short periods. My policy on dog breeds and sizes is in place because of two separate incidents. First, I lost a beloved pet to a boarded Rover doggo on Christmas morning, 2020. Having to put my little pig Minnie in the freezer after being attacked on Christmas morning was a horribly traumatic experience. In June 2023 I was attacked by a 110lb Rover dog at a meet and greet and had to go to the hospital. If the owner had not been present, I would have been killed. These are incidents that I will not risk repeating. Thank you so much for understanding!

I am currently a part-time student at Copper Mountain College, and work weekends at Hi-Desert Tails. I have a bit of free time as I have online classes!
