“My dog loves Mike. Yesterday was the first time Tuna stayed over night at Mike's house. He is knowledgable about dogs and also master at communication with dog's owners. He has his steps to make sure my dog would be safe and comfortable under his care. The house is clean and safe. He was really gentle with her. Tuna was anxious since I left her there after a long drive. But Mike handled her so well. He allowed her to be on his lap, his bed, even his office desk. Full time attention! About: Dogs have always found their way to me. I've been around them most of my life, and there's something about calm, consistent energy that they seem to respond to. A friend would tell you I'm the person dogs gravitate toward at a party, and I'd say that's probably the most honest qualification I can offer. My most meaningful experience came with my own rescue, a shepherd mix I adopted at 7 months, trained from scratch, and cared for through 15 years of life, including her final year as a senior dog with mobility needs. I became practiced at daily medication administration, wound care, and the kind of patient, attentive routine that older dogs need. Senior dogs are a specialty I genuinely enjoy and take seriously. I work from home full-time, which means your dog won't spend the day alone. I'm here, present, and engaged — great for dogs with separation anxiety or those who simply do better with a steady human nearby. I take one dog (or one bonded pair) at a time, so your pet gets real individual attention. My home in Palm Springs is clean, quiet, and comfortable with direct access to a large greenway for on-leash walks right from my back patio. I know the desert schedule well, so in warmer months walks happen early morning or evening when it's safe and comfortable. I have a car and am happy to help with pickup or dropoff when needed. I'm comfortable with oral medications, mobility assistance, and dogs with special routines. My home is single-level — no stairs. I prefer dogs to sleep on their own bed or the floor (I'll have a comfortable spot ready), and I take one guest at a time to keep things calm and personal. Meet-and-greets are always welcome before a booking.

“Cesar is amazing!! He took care of my three cats while we were out of town for our wedding, over the past 9 days our kitties were in great care with Cesar’s drop in visits! He went above and beyond our expectations. Truly kept the litter boxes clean and swept around them! He changed their food and water and made sure they were safe! Cesar is trust worthy and respectful! He kept us updated throughout the whole process, sending us lots of loving photos and even keeping us updated on the weather! He is soo kind and truly loves animals, we have gold fish here too, even thou we were feeding them pebbles with the automatic feeder he noticed the fish and added some bounce flacks when he visited (out of the kindness of his heart). I believe in SPOILING them, not giving them all of the treats, but in giving them tons of attention and activity. Zonking them out at night so they have the best night's sleep. I love all dogs, tiny to giants and long-haired too. I laugh at zoomies. My animal voice disarms them quickly so even the most nervous cats or dogs warm up to me in time. I respect boundaries and listen/watch body language so that neither of us are uncomfortable. I love to go on walks with them, letting them smell every flower along the way. I love playing tug of war or chasing each other or throwing a ball for hours. They are such special little beings and deserve the best care. With me, they would be loved on, scratched, belly rubbed, or brushed to their delight! I work from home and set my schedule. So, I would be available to watch your furbabies during the times that you need, overnights, or just daily drop-bys. All I need is wifi and if it's the summer, AC. I am happy to bring any cat-friendly dogs into my home. Both of my cats LOVE dogs. But your furbabies would have to have up-to-date vaccinations to do so. I'm happy to have them here. If they like walks, I go on one daily for about an hour. If I need to, I can split that walk in two, no worries. Spending time with them at a dog park. Throwing the ball or playing outside with their favorite toy is also something that I would enjoy doing. I am happy to find what each furbaby needs and to meet it. I love getting to know animals and their specific qualities/likes/dislikes and meeting their needs and having fun. The whole idea to me is that if their humans are out of town. having fun, they should have an equal amount of fun too!

About: I have cared for large, medium, and small dogs for 15 years. I also have cat care experience. I studied animal science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, so I can also care for livestock and various species of animals more than cats and dogs as well. A friend would tell you I'm the person dogs gravitate toward at a party, and I'd say that's probably the most honest qualification I can offer. My most meaningful experience came with my own rescue, a shepherd mix I adopted at 7 months, trained from scratch, and cared for through 15 years of life, including her final year as a senior dog with mobility needs. I became practiced at daily medication administration, wound care, and the kind of patient, attentive routine that older dogs need. Senior dogs are a specialty I genuinely enjoy and take seriously. I work from home full-time, which means your dog won't spend the day alone. I'm here, present, and engaged — great for dogs with separation anxiety or those who simply do better with a steady human nearby. I take one dog (or one bonded pair) at a time, so your pet gets real individual attention. My home in Palm Springs is clean, quiet, and comfortable with direct access to a large greenway for on-leash walks right from my back patio. I know the desert schedule well, so in warmer months walks happen early morning or evening when it's safe and comfortable. I have a car and am happy to help with pickup or dropoff when needed. I'm comfortable with oral medications, mobility assistance, and dogs with special routines. My home is single-level — no stairs. I prefer dogs to sleep on their own bed or the floor (I'll have a comfortable spot ready), and I take one guest at a time to keep things calm and personal. Meet-and-greets are always welcome before a booking.
