Not the right fit for my sweet, slightly bougie girl! Matthew offered the perfect blend of comfort, safety, and home-style care. His house is pet-friendly and charming, with a doggy door to the front patio and another to the back, so Ella could choose where to lounge. He limits the number of dogs he watches, sent regular photos and updates, and was wonderfully flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. Ella looked so happy and relaxed in every picture. It gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. I couldn’t recommend Matthew more highly, and I’ll definitely be rebooking with him in the future!”

He kept us updated throughout the whole process, sending us lots of loving photos and even keeping us updated on the weather! About: Over the years, friends and family have entrusted me with the care of their pets. I have owned dogs and cats throughout my life and have been in the animal medical field for the last 6 years. As a pet owner I understand the uneasy feeling of having to leave your fur babies in the care of someone else in a new environment due to work, travel, or unforeseen events. I want my clients to know I provide the highest degree of professionalism but also provide home town care for their pets as if they were my own. I have the experience in making animals feel comfortable and secure, even when their parents are away! I work with dogs and cats 8 hours a day five days a week. It has been a routine for the last 6 years. I am offering pet sitting, day visits, and dog walking. I am off work at 5:00pm leaving my evening free to spend time with my own pets and any guests we have! I have two felines (male and female) that keep to themselves but are friendly when approached. In addition, I have one silly and loving female chocolate Labrador Retriever and one exuberant (social butterfly) female Doberman Pinscher. About: Veterinary/Boarding experienced and always ready for anything! -About Me- I have worked as a Veterinarian Assistant and Boarding Attendant for over 7 years and a few of those years at an emergency animal hospital. I have also worked as an Animal Care Attendant at an Animal Shelter and a zoo. I last worked at An Animal Hospital in La Quinta as a boarding manager and lead. Along with animal volunteer work on the side of course. I’ve always had a passion for working around animals of all shapes and sizes and I’ve worked with just about every breed and most species. I am very flexible and can always make something work for you and your baby’s needs. My pets stay indoors with me. They are house trained and able to go about the home as they please. I do have amazing opportunities to bring in fosters or pets for re-homing which comes with needing to maintain structured separation and/or needing to gate off certain aspects of the home. I’m familiar with different personalities, bubbles, and behavior and I’m equipt to instinctively know the differences as an animal handler. I care for all pets like my own and I do encourage positive reinforcement and engage in any training opportunities that I can. My Australian shepherd is in constant training mode due to his high energy instincts so it is apart of my daily routine and training can definitely be a great add on to my services.

About: I did start taking care of pets when I was in junior high! I grew up with beagles; I think I’m a fourth generation beagle owner, and my dog Lear is truly a wonderful host . He adores everybody, and they all seem to love him, too. My backyard is essentially for the pups , several lounging areas for the perfect noon time sunbath. We also love the dog park. I’m a senior who spends majority of my time at home with my pups. Lots of attention and interaction , and backyard breaks . Pup heaven! I have a lovely fenced in backyard, and my own pups love sunning themselves all times of the day. I’m normally always home except for quick trips to the grocery store or an occasional lunch out ; otherwise I’m here , hands-on!

“This was our first time using Rover, and therefore our first time having Jon walk our dog. We asked Jon to come by each day at 7, as it gets pretty hot here in the desert quite early in the morning. Sammi is used to hour long walks as well. We can say Jon did not disappoint! He was at our house every morning at 7 on the nose and gave our Sammi a full hour walk each day. They walked a mile plus on each journey and Sammi looked forward to seeing him every day. Could not have asked for a better experience!”
About: I personally don’t have any training or senior care experience but I do have experience from my own dog I learn to clean up after her walk or feed her just the basic steps but it is my job to take care of dogs and give them what they need. I am always available to play and walk with the pups! My schedule is Mondays-Fridays from 8 AM to 6 PM . I currently have a morning job on the weekends I live in a safe gated community with friendly pets, I treat my dogs as if they were my children they give me life! About: Extensive experience providing attentive, one-on-one dog walking with a focus on safety, structure, and personalized care. Every walk is tailored to your dog’s needs. My schedule is open Monday through Friday. On weekends, I work as an Activities Assistant at a care home, which reflects my strong background in responsibility, patience, and compassionate care. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible. This includes regular walks, fresh water, playtime, and lots of positive attention. Safety is always my top priority, so I make sure pets are secure, comfortable, and supervised at all times. I take time to understand each pet’s personality, energy level, and any special needs to provide calm, consistent, and personalized care.
