“Today was Termie’s first doggie day care visit with Stephen. Even though I had a really nice meet and greet with him last week, I was still a little nervous about leaving my baby with any new person. But with Stephen I felt good because he’s had a few Toy Poodles himself and we shared pictures of our Toy Poodles with each other. When I dropped Termie off very early this morning (6am), Stephen welcomed me and Termie and reassured me all would be fine. And when I came back at the end of the day to pick him up, Stephen and I shared some more stories about Toy Poodles for about 20 minutes… and sure enough, my dog was actually ignoring me and sitting in his lap the whole time we chatted. At that moment, seeing my dog stay by his side instead of mine, I knew Stephen and Termie had bonded and that Termie must have been well cared for. I can’t express how relieved I am to have found somebody who knows and appreciates Toy Poodles, but also a sitter who is very kind and friendly. It was just a great first day experience and I am so happy my dog will be staying with him a couple days each week. Thank you again Stephen for being so nice to both me and Termie. Mark looked after our dog, Penny, twice a week for daycare over several weeks and also cared for her overnight. As a new rescue, Penny can be quite anxious, particularly when getting used to new people and environments, but Mark has such a calm, gentle manner that she quickly felt comfortable with him. Before long, Penny absolutely loved going to his house. She would wag her tail and run straight to his door. We genuinely feel that Mark played a significant role in helping her gain confidence and continue progressing and feeling secure. Mark was always reliable, caring, and professional, and we knew Penny was in safe hands with him. This was the first time having some care for Henry, my 6 month Cavapoo and i could not have asked for two better people than Dennis and Tom. Communication with Dennis was easy and I so appreciated the update and pics he sent me during the 6 hours Henry was with them. When we arrived at their lovely townhouse, Dennis and Tom warmly greeted us and immediately made Henry comfortable. I hope Henry’s experiences with others are as positive as this, his first!
Scott was awesome! Very quick to respond and work with us on delays due to weather. Our pups had a great time and tuckered out when we picked them up. Scott also let us know how things were going throughout out the day with pictures. It makes our trip more enjoyable when we know our pups are in good hands while we are out exploring.
