About: My journey with pets isn't just a job; it's a heartfelt passion that's been part of my life since I can remember. As a retiree, my daily routine revolves around the well-being of the pets I care for. With ample time and flexibility, I'm available to cater to their needs whenever they arise, whether it's a midday walk, playtime, or simply providing companionship. Your pet's happiness and comfort are my top priorities, and they'll receive my undivided attention throughout the day. In both my home and your space, safety, trust, and a nurturing environment are paramount. I meticulously adhere to your pet's schedule, ensuring familiarity and comfort. About: If you are looking for someone to love and spoil your fur baby while you are away, Bear and I would love to welcome them to our home! Your pooch will get all the adoration you want them to have, in a safe environment where they can feel like they are on vacation, too. Our time together can be active, including adventure walks in the woods, fenced-in off-leash time in a safe and secure area at my apartment/home, and also snuggle time when they need some extra TLC. My 7-year-old 10 10-pound neutered male Chorkie is calm and welcoming, having been socialized from the time he came to me. We have consistent meal times and frequent opportunities to get outside. We are a quiet, calm respite in a kid-free, smoke-free, dog-centric home. It will be like Mardi-Gras for your dog, but everyone is safe and has no regrets in the morning! :) I work full time from home. While I prefer stays that are primarily on weekends, can accommodate a Monday or Friday too. Weekends are dog friendly with lots of walks and down time in between. My dog has been my primary focus for 7 years, and yours will be treated to the same kind of care, routine, fun and snuggles as my lil Bear gets! I live in an apartment with easy access to leashed walks and an on-site dog park for off-leash fun, but we frequently hop in the car for a 5-minute ride to one of various parks where we have adventures, if your doggo is ok with car rides. My weekends are low-key and if your pet is here, they would include minimal time for me out of the home so Bear and I can be available to focus on our guest. Meals, walks and frequent trips outside are a regular part of our consistent routine. Unless you object, your pal is as welcome on furniture, under blankies, and anywhere Bear goes … which is everywhere.

“My pup has done daycare with Jason three times now and she runs up to his front door excited each time. Jason shares photos and videos each day and maps of their walks and bathroom breaks. He’s a great communicator and it’s so comforting to leave my (big) dog with him when I’m at work knowing she’s fully taken care of. Can’t recommend him enough!”

“Alan took excellent care of my young dog who is something of an escape artist. Pilot enjoyed his time with Alan and I enjoyed knowing that Pilot was happy and safe.”

About: I’m a great sitter because animals have always been a part of my life. I’ve had the joy of raising dogs from puppies to adulthood, including a mini-poodle named Mikey, who was a cherished part of our family for 11 years. Currently, I have a 2-year-old cat named Cash and a 1.5-year-old dog named Jax. My care also extends to parakeets, other small birds, hamsters, and fish. Additionally, I have always found myself being a sitter for the pets of my relatives and I am currently fostering 2 cats. I have experience with nursing pets back to health after surgeries. I’m currently working part-time, so I have time to hang with the fur-babies! On weekdays, my afternoons are free, I do not work on Friday and Saturdays, and every night is available for possible boarders, as I am home. When caring for pets I prioritize their health, comfort, and emotional well-being. I ensure they’re well-fed by preparing and cooking their food according to their specific dietary needs. If a pet is unwell, I take the time to nurse them back to health with close attention and gentle care. I am also the person that takes my pets to their vet appointments. I also make sure they feel loved and secure by spending quality time with them—petting, cuddling, and playing—tailored to their personality and preferences. Each pet is treated like family, with patience, compassion, and responsibility at the heart of everything I do.

“Margaret and her expert care is everything we could have ever hoped for! She has an intuitive, trusting manner that let Mica know immediately that she was safe, trusted, and cared for. Margaret asked the right questions, set up an environment perfect for Mica's comfort, and let her explore safely to her heart's content. When we arrived to pick her up, Margaret was laughing and playing with Mica, enjoying her antics. Our pup came home tired, exercised and happy. It couldn't be better; thank you, Margaret!”

“Wanda was very responsive and able to accomidate my dog at the last minute. She did a great job taking care of my pup for the day and I'd definitely recommend her for anyone looking for a good sitter.”

About: I have been a dog owner since 2013 when I got my first pup, The Great Gazoo! I have experience caring for puppies, elderly dogs, dogs with anxiety, and dogs with some medical needs. I am a teacher, so during the summer I am free as a bird! I spend the day outside in our fenced in yard or walking my dog in nearby Stonybrook Park. I live with my partner and 2 teenagers who also have a lot of dog experience! Your dog will be well taken care of by all of us and will receive plenty of love and attention!

About: I have been a dog owner for many years, with a major preference for small dogs. Not only do I have lots of experience caring for my own pets, but I have sat and cared for the dogs of many different friends and family, as well as those I don’t personally know well, over the years. I am patient, loving, always try to have fun with the dogs, and always try to give them the best care possible. I’ve had dogs all my life. I got my first dog, Lukey, when I was young and he was my best friend. Originally got him for my mother to keep her company, but fell in love with him myself and made him my own once she passed. I’d take him through the woods on walks and we eventually became inseparable. He passed at age 18. Eventually I met a woman who had two dogs of her own and they became like my kids. I had them for many years, although sadly they are all passed now as well. Currently I help care for two dogs with my ex who lives in the apartment below me, as we are still good friends. I make sure they are well cared for and take them out regularly. I love to play with them. I take dogs very seriously as they are like family to me. I can currently work Monday-Saturday, with exceptions. I do have to schedule around some minor things early in the morning, and those take priority, and those can be discussed, but otherwise I’m completely free. I love animals and always try to give them 100% of the love and attention they deserve. I feed them, walk them, take them out and play with them, and always try to give them my best. I’ve always treated my own dogs as if they were my children, and I extend that to any dog I care for.

Julianna was a life saver with our last minute request to book our pup (Clare) with her for the day while we were down south visiting family. Her communication was top notch and Clare had such a good time playing with her dog and the other dog she was boarding. She sent us the cutest video and it was such a relief to know Clare was in such good hands. Would definitely book with Julianna again!

Allie was very quick to respond to a last minute Fourth of July Day boarding. She was very easy to communicate with and very friendly. This is my first time leaving my dog with someone. I was happy to get updates on her walk. She was great and would definitely book again!
