Salina spent the week at our home while we went on vacation, and I cannot express what a wonderful job she did. It's not easy earning Bella's trust, but by the end of the week I believe they were best friends! Lots of cuddles and love! The pictures put my heart at ease, I could tell Bella was being lovingly cared for. Salina had to also deal with a power outage for a day at our complex, and also some technical issues that came afterward, and communication was seamless. Also, our home was spotless on our return! Before the actual dates, she took time to come to my house to meet my dog then while I was gone, she kept me updated on their activities and sent me some great pictures of the 2 of them together. After I got home, he was actually crying (which he only does when my daughter leaves the house) and I am pretty sure he missed his new friend. About: When I was young I grew up with animals. Since then, I have spent a lot of time with my friends and neighbors dogs. For example, I walk my neighbor’s dog everyday (for no fee) as they are an older couple and Chloe waits for me every morning. They joke that she’s my dog. I have pet sat for my friends during their vacations, pregnancies, and chemo appointments. These dogs have a special trust with me so their owners always feel comfortable when they’re away. I usually send pictures etc to update how they’re doing. One special picture was of the dog lying on the baby blanket that the parents had sent from the hospital. The mother said she burst into tears of gratitude. I have a job where I’m actively at work only 3 days a week. I spend my off days outdoors hiking usually which makes dog sitting / walking perfect. When I stay in the clients home, I try to keep to the schedule that is already known to the animal. At my own home, I do have a fenced in area. There are neighborhood dogs that can come and play if the dog is sociable.

“Jackie was absolutely amazing, I wish I could give her more than 5 stars. We have two Siberian Huskies that can be a handful, but she handled them with such ease. Jackie was communicative and sent enough pictures and updates where we felt comfortable and informed, but gave us enough space where we weren’t bombarded about the dogs the whole time we were away. I honestly didn’t worry about my dogs for even a minute from the moment we left, which is a first for me. We came home to two tired pups and a super clean house! I’d highly recommend Jackie to anyone I know.”

About: I have had cats for about 12 years and just fell in love with them. One of my cats currently has kidney disease and I make her own food for her and carefully watch her. Both my cats are elderly now and cared for them since I rescued them as kittens. I have also owned dogs and taken care of them as well since they were puppies til they were elderly. I am just an animal lover all around. I worked at a vets office when I was in high school so I’ve always been very fond of animals. I find animals truly a gift to humans! I own two businesses and make my own schedule, so my schedule is flexible. I am able to work from home and stop in the morning, afternoon and evening and also weekends. Or whenever you need me to be honest. I have an extra room that I have made into a cat room with toys and obstacle courses and tons of stuff to do for the cat with litter box, food and water, I live alone but two cats do live here but would not enter the room. I can also go to clients homes and stay with the pet and play with them or stay over. I am respectful, quiet and fun.

About: I have had pets all my life. I grew up with dogs and cats. I have worked in a dog grooming washing salon as well as watched them! I am excited to meet all the adorable dogs!!! I currently work part time 12-5 most days and pretty flexible after most days after that. Available during The weekends when I’m off as well! I follow instructions closely and communicate clearly with pet owners. Pet care is an important part of my daily and waekly routine. I currently care for my own dog, Boston Terrier, who is 15. Her name is Lola. I make sure she is fed, walked and taken care of. Since she's a senior dog, I make sure I stay alert to her health and behavior. I make sure my dog has a clean, safe space, fresh food, and water, regular exercise as she permits, and lots of hugs and kisses. I make sure they are comfortable and well-monitored throughout the day.

About: I was born into a pet household. It started with cats & at age 5 we got our first family dog! Now we have 5 cats and 5 small dogs. I also have cat sitted in the past, and have much experience taking care of and walking family friend’s dogs. I understand that pets are truly family members. I’m in between jobs right now and have free time during the day. My new job is set to start in the afternoon until the evening, and I would be working on alternating weekends. I would have a lot of time in the morning to check in and take your fur babies out on a walk! I don’t do boarding, as I understand it would stress out my pets and possibly yours. I take great measures to be safe with other peoples pets. I make sure to follow instructions throughly and to send plenty of pictures in order for pet parents to feel secure!
