About: I own a Husky mix named Prisma who is turning 3 this year. She is quite energic and also epileptic. She is my daily experience. However I have sat for dog a bit bigger and much smaller! That includes Shihztus, Rottweilers, Golden Retrievers, Corgis, and Border Collies. I'm patient and responsible. My goal in any work field, but especially with your loved ones and possessions, is being reliable and communicating. This is what I find in my experience to be key for providing the best care and peace of mind. I work full time as a receptionist Mon - Fri, 8 to 4:30. This provides a lot of morning visits and overnight potential. Evening walks would works great as well. For specific requests, I can even dip into PTO to make the right situation work if a mid day visit is required during the work week. My Saturdays and Sundays are fully open at this time. I'm very patient and observant when interacting with pets of different personalities. Once informed on how you'd like your loved one to be cared for, I will do so in that manner. An obvious statement, but you'd be surprised how important that is to be said. If unsure or uncertain of care, we can brainstorm together as well to make sure I'm the correct sitter for the job.

About: My husband Jonathan and I have grown up raising and taking care of dogs. Until we are ready to get our own dog again we would love to host your dog in our home! We and our children will make sure your dog feels like a part of the family during their stay. Between walks, playtime, belly rubs and everything else in-between, you can be sure your dog is well cared for. I am a stay at home mom so your dog will get lots of love and attention throughout the day, especially from my kids. Our schedule is great if your dog is used to being home around people and being a part of a daily routine. Your dog will be able to go out as much as they want throughout the day and get a walk or two for exercise and sniffs. I do require a meet and greet before your first booking in order to ensure your dog's stay will be a good fit for everyone. I have a fully fenced backyard with adequate grass space for potty breaks and playing fetch. Inside we have hardwood and tile floor, and I only allow the dogs on the first floor of my home (although we do spend the great majority of our time on this floor). We do ask that your dog be okay with being left downstairs for short periods of time; I wouldn't want your dog to be anxious and then scratching or jumping on the door to the upstairs. We also do not allow dogs on our furniture so please consider if your dog will be able to understand staying off the couch. When we are out of the house we can accommodate them on the first floor of our home and make sure their favorite bed or crate is set up for them.

About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals and would care for your furry family members as if they were my own. I grew up with both large and small dogs, from Shih Tzus to Rottweilers, and now have Huskies of my own. I’ve also grown up with cats and currently have a Maine Coon. My love for animals extends beyond dogs and cats—I also have a saltwater aquarium that brings me so much joy, and I’ve had a passion for wildlife and all kinds of animals from a young age. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and getting to know their unique personalities. I’d love the opportunity to help care for your pets and give them the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I’m happy to help in any way I can! I work nights, so I have plenty of availability every morning and afternoon. I’d love to use that free time to care for and spend time with animals who need a little extra love and attention while their families are away. If you have a fenced-in yard, I’d love to let your pups run around, play fetch, and get all those zoomies out! We can also go for walks, enjoy some sunshine, or simply spend some quality time playing and relaxing together. My goal is to make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and fun while they’re in my care!

About: New to Rover! I have 20+ years, like most of you, taking care of dogs (all ages & size) walking, training & loving. Raised in Rochester & know all the best parks & trails. I have an SUV and don’t mind taking the dogs places if requested. Night shift worker during the week, I make lots of time for my puppy at home and would love to make time for your dog during the day. I’m available all days of the week, unfortunately that doesn’t mean I’m available all the time but can make time each day of the week if necessary. Just reach out, your odds are high that I can help I know how important pets are to everyone’s family and will treat yours like you do at home, or better :) Learning your dogs behavior is a key to success, the more information the better (behavior around dogs, people, children, chewing, barking) to know if they are acting different in any way. I get excited each time I meet new parents of dogs, i wouldn’t trust some nobody with my dog unless I got to know them first, I am in my mid twenties and have lived in pittsford/penfield for most of life, I do not drink if that matters to you, I’d say based off appearance I look pretty clean unless it’s cold out then you may only be seeing what’s visible under my hood or hat. I’m well educated in the do’s and don’ts on what is safe and unsafe for dogs and puppies to accidentally eat. Coming from a family that has dealt with Lyme Disease I take precaution in where my dogs are roaming, and always checking my puppy and past dogs constantly for ticks

“Huge huge huge shout out to MacKenzie for watching my pups while I was out of town! I just moved up here and was a little worried about being away from the new place/state and leaving the dogs up here in the meantime. However, MacKenzie just seemed trustworthy, cool, and kind, and I was right! Not only did she want to make sure she did a good job and followed their schedules and everything to a T, she also just loved and cared about them instantly. What really sold MacKenzie as just being a rockstar was her willingness to work with my one dog who has major stranger danger and takes a bit to trust especially with females. MacKenzie did what she could and spent a lot of time focusing on his comfortability and building his trust with her while still ensuring my other dog got her attention and love as well. Throughout the visits, MacKenzie gave me numerous photos and videos as well as updates from all her visits.
