I’m the “girl next door” people call when they need help with their pets, children, or while they’re out of town. I’ve been caring for kids and animals since I was 11 — it’s just who I am. I’m currently pursuing my MFA in Creative Writing, which means I’m genuinely a homebody. I’m a strong fit for pet owners who want someone present with their animals most of the time — I don’t like leaving pets alone for more than a few hours, and I respect that you feel the same way. I’m often joined by my 15-year-old daughter, who is just as animal-obsessed as I am. She’s done many sits with me and if your pet likes to cuddle or sleep with someone, she is all in. I love when people give me detailed instructions — following your pet’s routine matters to me. I also love sending daily updates and photos. Watching your animal’s personality come out while you’re away is one of my favorite parts of this. We look forward to loving on your animals and caring for your home (plants and garden too!) while you’re away 💜

Soooo happy I found Sarah! My dog, Stanley, took to her right away. This is unusual for him. She is kind, timely, thorough and a very good communicator. Sarah took excellent care of Stanley and our home. We have already rebooked with her. ☺️
Sarah took great care of my pets and house! My house was exactly as I left it, she sent me plenty of updates, and both of my pets were perfectly happy when I got home. I definitely recommend Sarah!

Sarah was great! There were a few house issues that came up and she took care of everything expertly! The dogs loved her and were well taken care of while we were gone. This is the first time we have traveled as a family in a very long time out of concern for leaving the dogs. She made us comfortable and our time away was stress free. Recommend 100%!
This was our first time using a house sitter for our dog & we were a little apprehensive. However we couldn't have been more pleased with Sarah. We received daily updates & pictures & when we returned home the house was absolutely spotless. When Sarah stopped by a few days later to pick up some forgotten items our dog was so excited to see her again. A sure sign she was well cared for. We would certainly recommend & use Sarah again!
