“Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”

About: I volunteered at my local shelter (caring for cats, dogs, and rodents) in Longmont, CO from ages 10-15. I've pet sit for friends, family, and colleagues over the years as well, ranging from a few drop-ins to 2+ weeks of overnight care. Nowadays, I volunteer at a cat cafe in downtown Rochester on Sundays. Each shift is about 3 hours, on my own, prior to the cafe opening. I'm required to: - Feed 20+ cats wet food - Scoop 10+ litter boxes - Clean up accidents and sweep the floors of fur and other debris - Socialize with the cats, especially more reserved ones I've lived with cats for as long as I've been alive. The longest I've ever owned a cat is 17 years; Trouble lived to 19 and was in my care full-time through her last stages of life. Therefore, I can tend to medical needs and can quickly identify behaviors that would require medical attention. Above all else, I understand that all cats have different boundaries. Making them feel comfortable is my priority.

About: Communication and Reliability are key! I have a tuxedo cat who is turning 6 this December. I also live with my boyfriend who has two cats, one 9 and the other 2. My daily cat experience is high. Each cat has their own personalities and quirks. Beyond that, since a young age most my friends had cats with varying personalities and required age considering some were pushing 12. I would help with their care when I visited because I loved them as my own and wished to spend lots of time with them. I've learned tricks here and there to administer pills and liquid meds. About: Hi, I'm Jackie! I have had pets for over 20 years and am a huge animal lover. I have three cats and a dog - who are all incredibly spoiled. I also have experience with fish, reptiles, small pets, and birds as well. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds :) I work from home and enjoy talking my dog on walks or out into the backyard during breaks or after work. We spend as much time as we can outside. I care about any animal’s health and safety first. In my own home, I try to let the dog I’m sitting be as comfortable as possible - whether that’s being my shadow, hanging out on the couch, or supervising the neighborhood through the window. My dog, Banner, is 7 years old, 85lbs, and he loves other dogs - he’s very gentle with older or small dogs, too. About: I've helped care for dogs and cats of friends when they are out of town, including walking, feeding, and cleaning up after them (including puppies, which frequently had to be cleaned up after, which I have no problem with). I am capable of handling anything that comes my way and am not easily stressed. Animal care and owner communication are my first priorities. I will do whatever you need to care for your pets, such as letting them outside in a fenced yard or putting them in a crate at the end of the visit. As I work full time, my schedule typically is weekends. However, I can do early morning walks before 8 am or after 6 pm during weekdays. Pets will be monitored closely. I stick to instructions and will ask questions if I have them. Animals will be treated with patience and respect. If house-sitting, I always put things back in their proper place and avoid touching anything that isn't required for pet care. “Remi is an anxious dog, but after this boarding experience, I noticed a big difference. He was much calmer when I picked him up, and it did not take him days to de stress like usual. When we arrived, Kimberly greeted us outside with her dog, who is extremely friendly and calm. Even though Remi was on a leash, he handled the interaction well, which honestly surprised me. Throughout Remi’s stay, Kimberly sent pictures and regular updates. She played fetch with him, which is one of his favorite activities (other than eating). By the time he came home, he was happily exhausted. We are so glad we found Kimberly and highly recommend her. She is someone we will definitely continue to return to.”

I also really appreciated that he was able to take my dog on very short notice. My dog has some behavioral issues, and when I explained them, Kenan didn't seem intimidated or put off at all. He was calm, patient, and relaxed, which helped me feel much more comfortable leaving my dog in his care. It was clear that he takes his business seriously and genuinely cares about the animals he watches. The biggest sign that my dog had a great time was when I picked him up—he kept looking back at the house like he wanted to stay! That alone told me he felt safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Something that really helps a first time puppy mom! She also kept our puppy active which was great after a long trip - he slept the entire night and even slept in late!!
