About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! I’ll get mine out with him :) Lastly, I respect peoples spaces/ privacy and always clean up behind myself after using something in your space. I'd love to give your dog my unconditional love and undivided attention. Your baby is not just a pet, they are our best friends who depend on us. About: I’ve taken care of my dog as well as other owners’s dog. People I know around me are willing to trust me with their dogs. I’m currently working part-time so I have plenty of time after 2pm. I can also come in later of the day if there’s any needs. I lived in a pet-friendly apartment with an explicit pet park built inside the apartments. I had experience walking a grown German Shepard so I can crate vast majority of dogs.

About: I own a Husky mix named Prisma who is turning 3 this year. She is quite energic and also epileptic. She is my daily experience. However I have sat for dog a bit bigger and much smaller! That includes Shihztus, Rottweilers, Golden Retrievers, Corgis, and Border Collies. I'm patient and responsible. My goal in any work field, but especially with your loved ones and possessions, is being reliable and communicating. This is what I find in my experience to be key for providing the best care and peace of mind. I work full time as a receptionist Mon - Fri, 8 to 4:30. This provides a lot of morning visits and overnight potential. Evening walks would works great as well. For specific requests, I can even dip into PTO to make the right situation work if a mid day visit is required during the work week. My Saturdays and Sundays are fully open at this time. I'm very patient and observant when interacting with pets of different personalities. Once informed on how you'd like your loved one to be cared for, I will do so in that manner. An obvious statement, but you'd be surprised how important that is to be said. If unsure or uncertain of care, we can brainstorm together as well to make sure I'm the correct sitter for the job.

About: I’ve taken care and handled of all kinds of animals from rabbits to dogs to cattle. Neighbors, Friends, and Family all come to me when they need anything for their pets. I’m very flexible when it comes to scheduling, and can always find a way to work around whatever’s best for you. I’m also a certified pet groomer and have done countless basic puppy training services. If grooming or training is needed during any services, we can discuss more about specifics. I work as a full time dog groomer so I’m always surrounded by pets. When I’m not doing that on my free time, I am constantly taking neighborhood dogs on walks, and pet sitting for friends. As well as helping out at local shelters and pet stores. I always make sure we have playtime to release any energy they may have had being home alone, or from being in the crate. If they haven’t had their meal of the day, I’ll make sure they get their food and water before being walked or taken outside.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life and no two are the same. It’s my priority to care for your pet’s specific needs to ensure their comfort❤️ I mostly work evenings so I’m best suited for morning and afternoon walks. For house sitting, same availability applies but I can accommodate nightly check ins. It’s essential to me that your pet feels comfortable! It can be stressful for them to away from you so I’ll do my best to keep their routines in their home environment.

About: Have a puppy? I’m well-versed in puppy pee pads and the fun game of find the poop. Have an older dog? A slow meander or a quick circle around the yard and sit on the front porch are just as enjoyable as a fast paced walk. How about a bully breed? I’m used to the house hippo slamming into you when you enter the door. We have one of our own. Ever had your knees taken out from under you because a chimpmunk ran by? I have. Ever wrestle a house hippo afraid of water into a tub? Yup. That’s me. Bad listener? We’ve got one of those. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members. …and, yes, I always pick up the poo 🤓 I work from home with flexible hours, so I’m available during the days, in the evenings, and over the weekends. I am only able to take kid and pet friendly pets into my home, but am able to get to yours. It all depends on a pet’s need and the owner’s preferences. if they need exercise during the day or in the evenings we can take walks or play outside. If there is a mess, you can trust I’ll clean it up. Poop? I got it. Outside playtime? Absolutely. I can stop by once or several times a day depending on your pet’s needs.

About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! I give every dog the time and attention they deserve. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company.
