About: I grew up with a great dane, and then my family adopted 3 dogs of different sizes after that. I’ve been surrounded by, and taken care of dogs my entire life growing up in Rochester. I have worked for local dog daycare and boarding facilities as well. My location provides a good place to socialize with other dogs as well if needed, just minutes from several parks and open land. A fIexible schedule allows me to work with people to meet their specific needs, and take the necessary time to be thorough. I enjoy the process of working with dogs and understanding their personality. I use positive reinforcement techniques to reward behavior and maximize dog comfort. I currently work afternoons, and am a night owl. I spend my mornings drinking coffee or walking dogs, and evenings helping friends with pet care who work late nights in health care, law enforcement, etc. While I cannot board dogs overnight in my apartment building, I have experience boarding within owners homes. I know the stress of finding a private care provider, and offer meet and greet beforehand to make sure pet parents feel at ease. I also provide normal drop in walking/care while owner is away.

About: A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, I'm currently a flutist with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra! I've been missing my spunky dog Kora who lives back home and have always grown up with dogs, which is why I've been a sitter for Rover since I moved here in 2021. Since then, I have done dog sittings, cat sittings, and even bird sittings! I love going for walks/runs, just hanging out, or curling up in the couch at home-- hopefully your dog loves some of these too! I've been taking care of dogs in total for around 15 years now, so I'm used to taking them out fairly frequently, getting up early for a morning walk, and bathing them. I am more than happy to take your dogs on a walk, or drop in and make sure they're well-fed and happy. I'm most experienced in home-care and will happily take care of your furry friends and house in whatever capacity you need! I've raised my dog Kora from puppyhood and am very familiar with the training required for puppies and dogs with reactivity. I have also fostered a handful of dogs (small dogs and large dogs alike) over the last few years and have experienced shy dogs who take some time to come out of their shells :) As a musician, I have a few hours here and there scattered throughout my day that I can walk or stop by/watch your pup. I'm a very active person and love being outside! I am more than happy to be outside/in your home with them as well! I unfortunately cannot house your furry friends because of my housing situation.

About: I love dogs! I've had dogs since I was a kid, so basically have been around them and taking care of them for my whole life. Can do long walks with them and keep them safe and happy. I am good with nail trims and baths as well! My schedule is pretty open. I have a car as well, so getting there wont be an issue. I work at wegmans part time, so i have plenty of free time! I have a little dog and a bearded dragon. Both house trained (yes the dragon poops in the yard lol) i usually walk dogs 3-5 times a day depending on how often they wanna go. I keep nails trimmed and stuff myself as well. I make sure to keep the living space clean and safe for them. They're my family pretty much haha

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my entire life and no two are the same. It’s my priority to care for your pet’s specific needs to ensure their comfort❤️ I mostly work evenings so I’m best suited for morning and afternoon walks. For house sitting, same availability applies but I can accommodate nightly check ins. It’s essential to me that your pet feels comfortable! It can be stressful for them to away from you so I’ll do my best to keep their routines in their home environment.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I was responsible for walking the family dog when I was younger, volunteered at a shelter walking dogs every Saturday morning for 5 years, and have owned a dog myself for the last 20 years. My current dog, Bruce, and I are a registered therapy dog team, which required a lot of training and building of trust between us. He's a border collie (though he's slowed down in his old age) that needs his daily walks and play time. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pets with someone. You need to be able to trust them and I promise to take care of your dog with as much love and care as I take care of my own. I have 4 cats, so you pup MUST be good with cats. I work from home everyday so I am able to take care of potty breaks as needed and provide attention and playtime throughout the day. Building trust with an animal is etremely important. I am careful to keep an eye on body language so that I know when an animal wants more or less attention, needs to go for a walk, or needs to play. My own dog has been trained to walk on a loose leash by my side and does not pull. I've had plenty of experience walking shelter dogs who had no training though, so I can handle quite a bit. I regularly interact with my cats depending upon what type of interaction they want. I have two cats who love to play with toys on strings, and two other cats who prefer to be showered with pets. I am a believer that if you pay attention the animal will let you know what it's boundaries are.

About: I didn’t grow up with dogs of my own but all my friends had dogs and some of my family did, too. I’ve been around Great Danes to little chihuahuas. I do take care of my best friends two dogs when she is working her 12 hour shifts which includes letting them out to potty, feeding them, giving treats and of course all the rubs and lovings. I currently work part time at a doctors office so my afternoons and evenings are very open. Doing care in the morning before work is also not an issue. I do start work at 7am, but I am happy to stay the night or get there early before my shift. I unfortunately would not be able to offer services in my home unless it was a caged or tanked animal because I do have 4 cats currently. One of my cats is absolutely terrified of dogs.

About: I’m a responsible and attentive pet sitter who understands how important it is to have someone you can trust with your furry little buddies. I’ve had experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to medium-sized dogs and large dogs, so I’m comfortable adjusting to different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. My friends joke that I’m a “dog magnet” because dogs tend to warm up to me very quickly. One of my favorite parts of being around dogs is the energy exchange that happens through play and companionship. I really enjoy building that connection and making them feel comfortable and cared for. I will follow your care instructions closely and do my best to keep your pet’s routine consistent while you’re away. And I’m happy to send regular updates and photos at whatever frequency works best for you. I have a pretty flexible schedule and can usually accommodate both weekday and weekend visits. I know pets do best with consistency, so I make an effort to keep walks, meals, potty breaks, and check-ins as close to their usual routine as possible. I’m happy to discuss timing in advance so we can find what works best for your pet. I know how much trust it takes to have someone care for your pet and enter your home. I’ll follow your instructions closely, including feeding routines, walking preferences, medications, crate or door routines, and any special precautions you’d like me to take. I will always make sure your pet is safe, comfortable, and settled before I leave.

About: Hi my name is Rachel ., I’ve taken care of rescued & owned nearly different kinds of dogs . As a young child I grow up in a home taken care of big or small dogs ., I did trained my oldest dog ever since she was a puppy. Later on In my teen years I did Owned a yorkie mix and I have taken care of other people dogs as well. My schedule is pretty open . I’m currently available for weekdays mon thru Friday any time . Also I’m available for weekends sat thru sun any time .. I’m available for holidays as well I do have a fenced in yard for my dogs to run around and sometimes I like to take them out on walks so they can get the appropriate exercise . About: I’ve been around dogs since I was 4 years old, and recently rescued a dog of my own. I began training and caring for her myself starting when she was 9 weeks old. I am very comfortable around dogs no matter what size. I have experience I with positive reinforcement training for puppies as well. I employed full time but my schedule varies based on the day. My weekends are usually very open, allowing me to provide services at almost any time on Saturdays and Sundays! About: Have a puppy? I’m well-versed in puppy pee pads and the fun game of find the poop. Have an older dog? A slow meander or a quick circle around the yard and sit on the front porch are just as enjoyable as a fast paced walk. How about a bully breed? I’m used to the house hippo slamming into you when you enter the door. We have one of our own. Ever had your knees taken out from under you because a chimpmunk ran by? I have. Ever wrestle a house hippo afraid of water into a tub? Yup. That’s me. Bad listener? We’ve got one of those. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members. …and, yes, I always pick up the poo 🤓 I work from home with flexible hours, so I’m available during the days, in the evenings, and over the weekends. I am only able to take kid and pet friendly pets into my home, but am able to get to yours. It all depends on a pet’s need and the owner’s preferences. if they need exercise during the day or in the evenings we can take walks or play outside. If there is a mess, you can trust I’ll clean it up. Poop? I got it. Outside playtime? Absolutely. I can stop by once or several times a day depending on your pet’s needs.

About: I’ve had pet dogs since I was a kid and I’ve always loved animals. I now have a pet cat and my part time job is me working with dogs I’m working Monday to Thursday and I’ll be able to take care of your dogs or cats on Friday’s and weekends by walking them , playing with them , feeding them , and I can also give your dogs a basic wash if requested. I’m also willing to do dog daycare at your home. I take care of my cat by brushing him, feeding him, giving him fresh water , making sure he has his shots and insurance, and giving him treats.
