Caroline was super accommodating with our young puppy's (and our) needs. She was up for us walking along with her, so our puppy could get feel more comfortable around her for the first meeting. Definitely will be requesting Caroline again for help with our puppy!

About: I’ve cared for my own dog for over four years and have hands-on experience volunteering at a farm animal shelter, where I cleaned habitats, prepared food, and provided enrichment. I’m passionate about creating a safe, loving environment for all animals. I'm home for the summer from Rochester, NY, and have open availability on both weekdays and weekends. I’m flexible, dependable, and happy to accommodate your schedule. In my home, your pet will enjoy playtime with my friendly large dog, a spacious environment, and safe outdoor time on a secure lead. I can crate your dog if needed and follow their routine closely. For drop-in visits and walks, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment tailored to their needs.

About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over, paw, other paw, high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.

About: Dog sitting was my first job as a teenager. My mom actually gave me the idea to start because she never wanted to have a pet, so this was such a fun compromise! Since then I’ve dog sat for small, medium and large dogs! I myself am an active person and love to be active with a furry friend! It’s nice to have company on a walk run or even someone to explore new parks with! I work full time but my schedule is fairly flexible! I am a therapist and have ability to work from home at times as long as I am not in a session or scheduled to run group therapy! I am happy to stay at your home and care for your pet with the instructions you give! I am happy to walk, play, pet, feed and clean up after your dog.

Kelsey is an absolute gem! I have 2 large dogs and she handles their quirks and leash bad manners all with ease. She is a great sitter, I am always confident my pups are loved while I'm away. She actually watched my late pup as well who was 13 and had spine surgery, she was able to express her bowel and bladder, give meds, everything. If there's something she's unsure of she learns it for next time. I love that!

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind for as long as I can remember. Family and friends have all relied on me to walk, feed, and keep their pets entertained. I grew up with animals my entire life, having - a rabbit, 3 cats, 3 dogs, hamsters, fish, and hermit crabs! I currently have 2 cats of my own who are truly my fur babies, and 1 dog who I still consider my own even if she lives at home with my parents. I have experience with cats, large and small dogs, puppies, dogs in heat, reactive dogs, reptiles (geckos, turtles, bearded dragons, and snakes), rodents (rats, rabbits, and degus), chickens, and insects. I will take care of your fur baby of any kind like they are my own and give them the love and attention they deserve. My duo degrees in Biology and Environmental science, as well as my job working with the ambassador animals at the Seneca park zoo, has given me a unique basis of knowledge that I can utilize while taking care of your animals. I understand that having their parents leave for an extended time can be stressful for an animal any my main goal is to make sure that they are as comfortable as possible in their own homes. I currently work part-time with varying hours throughout the day and week. My availability decreases over the summer as that is when I am needed more often at my other job. Since my schedule varies so much I may not be able to keep my availability calendar as up-to-date as I would like. I will let you know immediately upon request what my schedule looks like during the days/times you need and I am more than willing to try and work something out to still give your animals the care they deserve. I love taking walks with my dog, especially on wilderness trails. I do adhere to leave-no-trace principles, so I keep dogs leashed at all times, and an appropriate distance from other walkers, as well as cleaning up properly behind them. I have extensive experience in handling excited puppies, especially ones that tend to jump. So I know how to safely prevent that behavior, and how to train dogs away from jumping. My biggest goal is to keep essentially the same schedule with your pets as you did. Having their people leave for any amount of time often makes them upset and miss you. So keeping their normal routine is super important in keeping them happy and healthy. I am a very careful, responsible, and detail-orientated person. This helps me adapt to new environments and situations quickly and it means that I am always thinking about safety.

About: I am a lifelong dog owner who loves all types of dogs! I have been told that I have a very calming energy and am very good with all types of dogs. I strive to make dogs feel comfortable and safe in their surroundings. I am a very active person who will be able to tire your pup out on a walk, jog, or playing fetch at the park! I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule, so I am able to accommodate your dog during the work day in addition to weekends. Outside of school I enjoy going on walks around town and would love to bring your dog along! When your dog is in my care, I will make them a part of my little family. I follow all rules that you have for your pup regarding furniture, food, walks, etc. I can accommodate reasonable care requests for your dog as well. When walking your dog, I will give them as much leash space as is safe and comfortable depending on your dogs needs/walking style.

Kathleen does a wonderful job walking Nigel on weekdays! Nigel is a 10 pound senior Maltese. Kathleen came for a meet and greet before walking Nigel, and he took to her right away. Justin was fantastic and gave me so much reassurance that Beans was in good hands while I was away. He was knowledgeable with the app so everything was tracked from pick up/drop off time, mileage, how many times Beans used the bathroom, and a great summary of how the walk went. Perfect. Abigail is deaf and calm, helping my boy to be calm too. Approached calmly, did not overexcite him, zero baby talk (even though my golden puppy really is heart meltingly cute.) Cedar absolutely loved her energy and wanted to go again with her when she brought him home. Arrived when expected. Clear communication. Recorded all 7 of my teenage dog’s pee stops and 3 poo breaks. Cedar says we must have her back again soon, and I agree!
