About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over,paw, other paw,high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.

About: I grew up with a great dane, and then my family adopted 3 dogs of different sizes after that. I’ve been surrounded by, and taken care of dogs my entire life growing up in Rochester. I have worked for local dog daycare and boarding facilities as well. My location provides a good place to socialize with other dogs as well if needed, just minutes from several parks and open land. A fIexible schedule allows me to work with people to meet their specific needs, and take the necessary time to be thorough. I enjoy the process of working with dogs and understanding their personality. I use positive reinforcement techniques to reward behavior and maximize dog comfort. I currently work afternoons, and am a night owl. I spend my mornings drinking coffee or walking dogs, and evenings helping friends with pet care who work late nights in health care, law enforcement, etc. While I cannot board dogs overnight in my apartment building, I have experience boarding within owners homes. I know the stress of finding a private care provider, and offer meet and greet beforehand to make sure pet parents feel at ease. I also provide normal drop in walking/care while owner is away.

I got the opportunity to study in Europe for my last semester. I am a long time pet lover. About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! I’ll get mine out with him :) Lastly, I respect peoples spaces/ privacy and always clean up behind myself after using something in your space. I'd love to give your dog my unconditional love and undivided attention. Your baby is not just a pet, they are our best friends who depend on us. About: I had a cat for 20 years and cage aninals when i was young. I have owned a dog with anxiety so patience was key. He needed Medication for that and his hips. I own two cats and a hedgehog. My cats come to a whistle, know how to sit and lay down, go to their blanket where ever it is. My older cat is great in the car and the younger cat I am currently training. I cut their nails and bathe them myself. Both are leash trained. I handle my hedgehog daily so that he is well socialized. My cats never bothered the rats or the hedgehog when let out of the cages. They would sleep woth the dog when no one was home. I work 12 hour over night shifts for my regular job. I am looking for day time and, when off night time or overnight opertunities to fit my shifting schedule. I work in Macedon and live in West Henrietta so I am flexible with locations. I am a quiet private person. I have two cats and a hedgehog. I previously owned rats, a dog, leopard gecko, and other caged animals Cages, boxes, bowls and, other cage items are cleaned daily as well as deep cleaning every 4 to 5 days or as needed. I enjoyed taking the dog as well as my cat for a walk! I have patience with animals with anxiety. I walk or handle pets that friends have such as snakes and birds.

About: I love dogs! I've had dogs since I was a kid, so basically have been around them and taking care of them for my whole life. Can do long walks with them and keep them safe and happy. I am good with nail trims and baths as well! My schedule is pretty open. I have a car as well, so getting there wont be an issue. I work at wegmans part time, so i have plenty of free time! I have a little dog and a bearded dragon. Both house trained (yes the dragon poops in the yard lol) i usually walk dogs 3-5 times a day depending on how often they wanna go. I keep nails trimmed and stuff myself as well. I make sure to keep the living space clean and safe for them. They're my family pretty much haha

About: A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, I'm currently a flutist with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra! I've been missing my spunky dog Kora who lives back home and have always grown up with dogs, which is why I've been a sitter for Rover since I moved here in 2021. Since then, I have done dog sittings, cat sittings, and even bird sittings! I love going for walks/runs, just hanging out, or curling up in the couch at home-- hopefully your dog loves some of these too! I've been taking care of dogs in total for around 15 years now, so I'm used to taking them out fairly frequently, getting up early for a morning walk, and bathing them. I am more than happy to take your dogs on a walk, or drop in and make sure they're well-fed and happy. I'm most experienced in home-care and will happily take care of your furry friends and house in whatever capacity you need! I've raised my dog Kora from puppyhood and am very familiar with the training required for puppies and dogs with reactivity. I have also fostered a handful of dogs (small dogs and large dogs alike) over the last few years and have experienced shy dogs who take some time to come out of their shells :) As a musician, I have a few hours here and there scattered throughout my day that I can walk or stop by/watch your pup. I'm a very active person and love being outside! I am more than happy to be outside/in your home with them as well! I unfortunately cannot house your furry friends because of my housing situation.

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was 15. Family, neighbors, friends, and even bosses have turned to me for their pet care. I have a 9-5 job. I am available Sundays and Saturdays, and have flexibility on Mondays and Thursdays. I may also be flexible on an as-needed basis. When I pet-sit for others, I respect/adhere to their criteria (e.g., indoor cats are kept indoors, dogs needing fences are kept in fenced areas, etc.). With my own cats, I make sure they get all the cuddle and playtime they need. I do the same when dog-sitting (my sister's Golden Retriever is a bundle full of energy!) I feed my cats wet food twice a day and ensure that their dry food and water bowls are kept filled. When pet-sitting (dogs or cats), I always follow the feeding routine as requested by the owner. I always pay close attention to pet behavior, being mindful of any unusual behavior. I make sure to let the owner know of such behavior to determine whether any emergency action is needed. I am also very chatty with all pets, so rest assured that they won't feel lonely!

About: I’ve had a deep love for animals for as long as I can remember, and I truly believe they can sense that. Many pets warm up to me quickly, and I think it’s because I approach them with patience, calm energy, and respect for their space. I make an effort to create familiarity—especially in their own homes—so they feel safe and comfortable. Building trust with each pet is something I take seriously and genuinely enjoy. I currently work part-time in a hybrid role while completing my master’s in public health. I’m typically in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with hours varying depending on meetings. About: First off, I am a licensed veterinary technician since 2019. My standards are high for my own animals as well as yours. I have the skills required to take care of a wide range of animals. I am confident in my ability to care for animals. I do not care for dogs under 1 year old. I do not care for untrained dogs. Pet care is my job. I take care of the animals during the requested time. If I'm staying overnight, I take care of your pets and home. I leave and come back as I need. I follow what the client would like me to do. We would meet, you would share the appropriate information and I would follow that. As it says, this will depend on what service you need. We can discuss this at a later time.
