About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over, paw, other paw, high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.

About: I make time to care for dogs on my free time and love to make them feel special. I help busy hardworking owners feel relieved when they can work and know that their dog is in good hands. I am a student that is currently studying full time at my apartment and am available to schedule dog care. I am very organized and am able to set time for studying and pet care and play time. I can play with them and give them enrichment. I can pet them to soothe them. I can encourage drinking water to keep them healthy. I am very vocal when it comes to encouraging and letting pets know they are doing something well.
“Caroline was super accommodating with our young puppy's (and our) needs. She was up for us walking along with her, so our puppy could get feel more comfortable around her for the first meeting. Definitely will be requesting Caroline again for help with our puppy!”

“Kelsey is the greatest! What a Rover find! She is reliable and great with the dogs. She has a lot of knowledge and if she doesnt know something she finds ways to learn and grow (I have a very old pup who had spine surgery, so she requires a lot of care)”
“Excellent rapport with my nervous doggie, Jenine was able to get her to go the entire half hour (the dog keeps wanting to return) and go potty before returning. Definitely recommend and my dog loves her!”

“Ricky helped me out last minute when I threw out my back by walking my energetic goldendoodle multiple mornings in a row. He was timely, easygoing, and flexible and pup was excited every time he came to the door!”

“Rebecca took care of my pups as if they were her own. Her reports showed she was really paying attention to them and the pictures showed they were their excited happy little selves- both made me miss them more but also feel less guilty about not being there to walk them myself. I will definitely book with her again.”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover living in the Park Ave area. I have years of professional experience working with dogs, including dog walking, running, and in-home sitting. Before moving to Rochester, I worked with Rover in Washington DC, caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’m also a dog owner myself — so I understand how important it is to find someone you can fully trust with your pets. I have a calm, friendly, and outgoing personality that helps dogs feel comfortable quickly, whether they’re energetic, shy, or somewhere in between. Please feel free to message me with any questions or to learn more about me. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! 😊🐶 I work remotely Monday through Friday and am off on weekends. I can of course make time if a dog needs a quick walk or check-in during my day job, but also my job is very flexible with my dog gigs. If I’m staying at a client’s home, then I would keep them company at all times, play with their toys, make sure they plenty of food/water, and taking them out for plenty of walks! :)
Pearl-Meigs-Monroe dog parents share their Rover experiences
Justin was fantastic and gave me so much reassurance that Beans was in good hands while I was away. He was knowledgeable with the app so everything was tracked from pick up/drop off time, mileage, how many times Beans used the bathroom, and a great summary of how the walk went. Will definitely be using Justin again!

My dog Luna instantly loved Heather, and I felt very comfortable leaving her in Heather’s care for the day. Heather was responsive, timely, and I could tell that Luna was well taken care of and having lots of fun. I would HIGHLY recommend Heather to anyone looking for pet care!

Jessica is a reliable and punctual dog walker. She shows up exactly when she says she’ll be there, always sends the route and a picture. My dog is so much calmer and happier now that Jessica is walking him regularly and it gives me peace of mind knowing that he is taken care of.

Perfect. Abigail is deaf and calm, helping my boy to be calm too. Approached calmly, did not overexcite him, zero baby talk (even though my golden puppy really is heart meltingly cute.) Cedar absolutely loved her energy and wanted to go again with her when she brought him home. Arrived when expected. Clear communication. Recorded all 7 of my teenage dog’s pee stops and 3 poo breaks. Cedar says we must have her back again soon, and I agree!
