About: I make time to care for dogs on my free time and love to make them feel special. I help busy hardworking owners feel relieved when they can work and know that their dog is in good hands. I am a student that is currently studying full time at my apartment and am available to schedule dog care. I am very organized and am able to set time for studying and pet care and play time. I can play with them and give them enrichment. I can pet them to soothe them. I can encourage drinking water to keep them healthy. About: Hi, I’m Marika! I’m a teacher, artist, mom, and lifelong animal lover. I’ve been caring for animals my entire life. I grew up with dogs and learned from an early age the importance of daily walks, playtime, companionship, and responsible pet care. As an adult, I’ve shared my home with cats and currently care for multiple cats of my own. I offer cat sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking with a focus on kindness, reliability, and individualized care. Living with both dogs and cats has taught me that every pet is unique. About: I've had pets in the house for as long as I can remember! Growing up we had dogs of all sizes, cats, turtles, tortoises, fish, and frogs. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes, from Yorkies to Rottweilers, and love them all. I currently have one cat named Olive, and plan to adopt a dog once I'm able to move to a larger space. I'm ready to take care of anything your pet needs - bathroom breaks, cat litter scooping, cleaning up accidents, refreshing water and food, play time, brushing, oral medication, etc. I'm currently working from home a few times per week, so I have a lot more flexibility in terms of scheduling pet care and walks. Summer weekends are typically busy, but if I'm in town I'm happy to help you out. I will always care for your animals as if they were my own. My goal is to make them as comfortable as possible, especially during the first meeting. I'm always on alert for changes in body language and behaviors that may let me know their comfort level. Every pet is different, but I can guarantee that I will treat each as the very best girl/boy there is.

About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over,paw, other paw,high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.

About: People have called me the "dog-whisperer", but I have an affinity with animals of all kinds. I have had several happy and sometimes spoiled dogs and cats of my own throughout my life, I am also the only person I know who never lost their hamster as a child. I love going on long walks and hikes, I even once had a cat who liked to go on walks with me. Dogs I have cared for in the past, have been known to miss me after they went home and were excited to see me again the next time. I am almost always available, very punctual, quite active, and I love having a furry four legged companion on a walk or a nice long hike. I am a full time student. My availability is generally open in the afternoon and evenings during the week, with full availability on the weekend. I like to follow instructions so a list is handy, I can take your pets on walks or hikes, and im very good at keepimg animals company and entertained.

About: As someone who grew up with many dogs, I had to regularly take care of them and make sure they were safe, fed and clean. I also lived with a cat for 7 years and had to give her ear medicine for one of those years. I have also worked front desk at an animal hospital for 1 year. 2019- 2020. ( Pittsford animal hospital) I whole heartedly love animals and can't wait to meet yours! I am a freelance musician and have plenty of spare time to help you take care of your pets. I can't wait to meet them! I understand the needs of different animal temperaments and know to meet them where they are at. I am very patient and know to give them space when needed.

About: A recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music, I'm currently playing with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra as a flutist! I've been missing my spunky dog Kora who lives back home and have always grown up with dogs, which is why I've been a sitter for Rover since I moved here in 2021. I love going for walks/runs, just hanging out, or lying next to my fireplace at home-- hopefully your dog loves some of these too! I've been taking care of dogs in total for around 15 years now, so I'm used to taking them out fairly frequently, getting up early for a morning walk, and bathing them. I am more than happy to take your dogs on a walk or watch them in my apartment, and make sure they're well-fed, have time to play, and are happy while you can go about your day :) I've raised my dog Kora from puppyhood and am very familiar with the training required for puppies. I have also fostered a handful of dogs (small dogs and one large dog) over the last few years and have experienced shy dogs who take some time to come out of their shells :) As a musician, I have a few hours here and there scattered throughout my day that I can walk or stop by/watch your pup. I'm a very active person and love being outside! I am more than happy to be outside/in your home with them as well! I unfortunately cannot house your furry friends because of my housing situation.

About: I love dogs! I've had dogs since I was a kid, so basically have been around them and taking care of them for my whole life. I am good with nail trims and baths as well! My schedule is pretty open. I have a car as well, so getting there wont be an issue. I work at wegmans part time, so i have plenty of free time! I have a little dog and a bearded dragon. Both house trained (yes the dragon poops in the yard lol) i usually walk dogs 3-5 times a day depending on how often they wanna go. I keep nails trimmed and stuff myself as well.

About: I've helped care for dogs and cats of friends when they are out of town, including walking, feeding, and cleaning up after them (including puppies, which frequently had to be cleaned up after, which I have no problem with). I am capable of handling anything that comes my way and am not easily stressed. Animal care and owner communication are my first priorities. I will do whatever you need to care for your pets, such as letting them outside in a fenced yard or putting them in a crate at the end of the visit. As I work full time, my schedule typically is weekends. However, I can do early morning walks before 8 am or after 6 pm during weekdays. Pets will be monitored closely. I stick to instructions and will ask questions if I have them. Animals will be treated with patience and respect. If house-sitting, I always put things back in their proper place and avoid touching anything that isn't required for pet care. I myself don't enjoy when folks move my things around, so I keep my hands off!
