Last-minute pet care is my jam! 🐾
I've been on Rover for over two years, but honestly, I've been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. As a professional nanny, responsibility is totally my thing, so you can trust your furry friends are in good hands! I have two large huskies of my own so size and breed are not an issue for me and I haven’t yet had a client that wasn’t extremely satisfied so hopefully I can add you to that list!

Mackenzie was an absolute gem. She helped my husband and me out when we needed a last-minute dog sitter, taking care of our two pit bulls in our home for 4 days/3 nights with less than a week’s notice. She was kind and professional, communicated and sent pics daily, took our dogs on walks, and gave them lots of snuggles. We have an older pit (13 y/o) and young, high-energy girl who’s more sensitive and anxious. It was so clear that Mackenzie took good care of them - both dogs welcomed us back home with their tails wagging, as if we never left. We will absolutely be contacting her again!
Mackenzie is amazing! I’m super grateful that she came to my rescue to walk my 60lb 10-month old puppy. I know that my dog is still learning to walk on a leash, and I know that he is a lot to handle. McKenzie did wonderful with my puppy. I would rebook with her in a heartbeat.
We were lucky enough to have Mackenzie do drop in visits with Sailor. Mackenzie gave the love and care our pup needed. She was trustworthy, reliable and made sure to send plenty photos of Sailor while they hung out. I was never worried during our trip because he was in good hands. Definitely recommend Mackenzie for anyone that needs pet care. ✨💖
Mackenzie is so sweet and patient with our little Rosie. She was also incredible with our two big older dogs who unfortunately passed. Mackenzie is so warm and kind with them and you can tell she takes her responsibilities very seriously.

Schedule
Any time during weekends and anytime during the day, fairly flexible schedule that is built around the pet I am sitting. Online school is super flexible I am on an internship now so random shifts but very flexible.

I believe in maintaining an environment or leaving it better than how I left it. I like a clean space I think if I’m going to do something might as well do it perfectly.

A typical day
I like to play lots of different games, use lots of toys and I’ll take them in safe but new areas so we can go explore together and smell (the dog will smell haha) new things!
