Hi, my name is Ulderico. I'm a 29 year old Photographer and animal lover living in Rochester, New York. I have cared for all types of pets from dogs and cats to horses and goats. Growing up in Hawaii, from an early age I was surrounded by animals, and naturally, they became an important part of my life. My extended family included dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles and birds. I have always felt a kinship with animals but the strongest bond has always been with dogs. I have very relaxed and lighthearted energy and I think that pets can sense this and feel at ease in my company. Some of my fondest memories are running around the backyard, throwing balls for my dog, Biggie, or simply playing hide-and-seek with him on rainy days. I think it's essential to be aware of each pet's unique personality and how to provide the foremost care and attention for them. I particularly enjoy photographing dogs and there's a good chance I'll capture some memorable images while we're out on a walk or just playing fetch. I always do a meet and greet before any commitment since I feel it's important to meet your pets in person and learn about their personality and needs. I will give your pets all the love and attention they need. Each and every pet is unique and I will care for them with this in mind.

Safety, trust & environment
My biggest focus is that the pets I watch are happy and comfortable. I know it can be stressful to be in a different environment with a new human so I intend on making that transition as pleasant as possible. I live with my family on a small homestead less than 20 minutes from downtown Fayetteville. It's a quiet, peaceful spot surrounded by nature. We have a fenced-in yard for the dogs to play in and doggy doors so they can go in and out at their leisure.

Rico is an exceptional pet sitter. He communicates before and throughout his stay, sending pictures each day. When we get home, our 2 dogs and cat are so happy and well-adjusted after having someone at home with them that they love. And our house is always well taken care of, with our mail and packages brought in. We so appreciate the great care Rico provides!
Rico did back to back drop in visits with my big, goofy Rocky while I was at a two day golf event. We did a brief meet & greet beforehand, and Rico definitely took notes on Rock's routines, favorite play & treats, and my expectations of Rocky's behavior. I could tell when returning home that Rock enjoyed each of the visits--he was wiggly and wagging, as if to say "Mom! Listen to this.. While you were gone? This guy came and played with me! Yesterday AND today!" It was very cute. I also LOVED getting photos from the visits, especially the ones of Rocky doing his "place" command in order to receive his pup-cup!! I will definitely be looking to have Rico watch Rocky again!!
Rico was amazing. Uschi usually is a little yippy when she meets someone new at the front door. Rico walks in and his dog whisperer energy was amazing. All our animals took to him instantly. He took Uschi on walks and did a great job of pet care some of whom needed some special treatment following surgery. One of our fish tanks required medication and he took care of that too. He was professional, attentive and very communicative. We will definite him again. We didn’t worry a second while we were away. We highly recommend him!
Rico was great with Sophia! She definitely had an awesome time with you, it took her took days of sleeping, so that means she had fun with you. Will definitely keep you as my sitter now and in the future. Thank you again! Debbie

Schedule
I work as a photographer so my schedule is always flexible. If I'm away from home, chances are I'm hiking and exploring the great outdoors with my dogs, Biggie and Clark! I am my own boss so my schedule is very flexible and I would be happy to accommodate you and your pets needs.
