“My dog Luna instantly loved Heather, and I felt very comfortable leaving her in Heather’s care for the day. Heather was responsive, timely, and I could tell that Luna was well taken care of and having lots of fun. I would HIGHLY recommend Heather to anyone looking for pet care!”

“Caroline was super accommodating with our young puppy's (and our) needs. She was up for us walking along with her, so our puppy could get feel more comfortable around her for the first meeting. Definitely will be requesting Caroline again for help with our puppy!”

About: I've been a foster and pet sitter for mostly greyhounds for the past 20 years, and have always had dogs of my own. I've gone through obedience classes and grooming, and am pretty good with most temperaments. I am very available and flexible, since I'm retired. I can come by during the day, including weekends and holidays, whatever works for you and your pet. Please note that I accept in-home stays that are a minimum of two nights. I can come to your home and stay, or visit to let your dog out, walk, or feed. Safety is a big factor and I'll do my best!
About: My love for animals has been my driving force in life. I’ve been taking care of and been around pets my entire life. I have experience with all types of animals, from cats and dogs, to reptiles and bunnies. I pride myself in how seriously I take caring for other peoples pets, I go above and beyond always, and I guarantee you I will love your pets as much as you. I have a very flexible schedule, I spend most of my time at home or hanging out with family! I do get my brothers off the bus nearly every day, but other than that, my time is spent with animals! I have seven cats and two dogs, so I take their care very seriously. I have a fenced in yard, I feed them the best food, everyone gets so much exercise and love and playtime. I have more litter boxes that I need to ensure that everyone has their own potty. I do so much more than the bare minimum for all of my pets.

About: In highschool I was very popular in my neighborhood from doing there dog nails, to dog sitting, over night stays, and even medications. Even back in high school I had a part time and school and still made sure the fur babies were taken care of. To this day I still dog sit for my neighbor. I also worked at a doggy daycare for about 6 months then i moved, I learned so much while I was there in that short period of time from learning to gain respect and how to control a group of 15+ dogs . And was in a animal science program in highschool with a mentorship at a clinic, then tried to go to college for my vet tech degree but too expensive(still paying that off). I also do have a very energetic German shepherd who I train every day she knows pretty much everything(sit, lay down, roll over, paw, other paw, high five, spin, heel, center, look, leave it, back up, and wait). I also dog sat for my boyfriend's coworker who had an older pointer who had a seziure not only did I comfort the dog but I called owner asap then vet, I then called off of work. Just because it's not my animal doesn't mean I will love them any less. But the take away from all that is I have a lot of experience in the animal department. I'm currently working part time and have a lot of free time on my hands and love being around animals . I only work wensday-saturday the other days I'm free. But as you can see with my profile I do have my own fur baby but my boyfriend never works nights or weekends so she won't be alone. For the pets at clients housing not only will I respond to you text asap even if I'm busy, I will also ask for guide lines and try to keep your dog on the schedule you have them on consistency is key, especially when a change like you leaving happens. I also am a big over thinker so before I let the dog out if you have a yard I will always make sure the gates are close and secure and make sure there's nothing laying out that would harm them. When I dog sit I imagine as if it's my own dog.
About: I am a lifelong dog owner who loves all types of dogs! I have been told that I have a very calming energy and am very good with all types of dogs. I strive to make dogs feel comfortable and safe in their surroundings. I am a very active person who will be able to tire your pup out on a walk, jog, or playing fetch at the park! I am a graduate student with a flexible schedule, so I am able to accommodate your dog during the work day in addition to weekends. Outside of school I enjoy going on walks around town and would love to bring your dog along! When your dog is in my care, I will make them a part of my little family. I follow all rules that you have for your pup regarding furniture, food, walks, etc. I can accommodate reasonable care requests for your dog as well. When walking your dog, I will give them as much leash space as is safe and comfortable depending on your dogs needs/walking style.
About: I’ve cared for a variety of animals throughout my life—including dogs, rabbits, birds, fish, and reptiles. My mom had two Pomeranians and a Shih Tzu, so I’m no stranger to small-breed personalities! I’ve provided pet sitting, walking, grooming, feeding, and even taken pets to vet appointments. Eventually, I’d love to adopt a dog of my own 🥰—but for now, I love caring for other people’s pets like they’re part of my own family. I'm currently working part time and my schedule is flexible with reasonable notice. Early mornings during the week and some evenings would be okay. I'm also available on the weekends. I'm close to plenty of parks and I also have big yard but it's not fenced in...I have an extra room that will be used for guest pets to sleep in or next to my bed is ok..I would make sure the pet has food and water down, I can administer an medication. I would try to adhere to the pets routine so that he/she is comfortable.I'm located near several parks and have a large yard that's perfect for playtime—though it isn't fenced, I always supervise outdoor time to ensure pets are safe. Inside, I have an extra room available just for guest pets, or they’re welcome to sleep near my bed if that’s what they’re used to. I always make sure pets have fresh food and water, and I’m comfortable administering any medications they may need. Most importantly, I do my best to follow your pet’s usual routine to help them feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible while you're away.
About: I didn’t grow up with dogs of my own but all my friends had dogs and some of my family did, too. I’ve been around Great Danes to little chihuahuas. I do take care of my best friends two dogs when she is working her 12 hour shifts which includes letting them out to potty, feeding them, giving treats and of course all the rubs and lovings. I currently work part time at a doctors office so my afternoons and evenings are very open. Doing care in the morning before work is also not an issue. I do start work at 7am, but I am happy to stay the night or get there early before my shift. I unfortunately would not be able to offer services in my home unless it was a caged or tanked animal because I do have 4 cats currently. One of my cats is absolutely terrified of dogs.

About: I work at a doggy daycare! I aspire to learn more about training and grooming! I also have pet store experience and work with small animals reptiles, and birds! i work at a doggy daycare in Henrietta. I have a pretty flexible schedule and an happy to help in mornings, nights, overnights, and on my days off! I can not offer night services at my apartment, but I will gladly house sit or check on your pups at night! I'm a super flexible person who is always looking for new opportunities!
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I helped raise several puppies including one who I fostered before she became a seeing eye dog. I have also assisted in training my partner's service dog. I focus primarily on house sitting for folks with cats. I am open to other jobs sometimes. Regardless of the species or amount of time, your furry friend will be happy and healthy and my capable hands. I take careful notes about you animal's routine and needs before they are in my care. Skills for behavioral and emotional regulation are built into the way i interact with dogs. Cats and i just vibe. Even skittish cats tend to warm up to me in few days and we always have a nice time together.
About: I’ve always been the girl who is obsessed with dogs. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). I have a fenced in grass courtyard where the dogs can play, and my apartment is very open and there’s lots of room for dogs to play inside. My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. Murphy has more toys than I care to admit, so your pups will have lots to play with.
“Rebecca has been wonderful with my skiddish dog and also with my boisterous overly friendly dog. She’s reliable and provides detailed updates. It is apparent she has a true love of dogs! ?”

“Excellent rapport with my nervous doggie, Jenine was able to get her to go the entire half hour (the dog keeps wanting to return) and go potty before returning. Definitely recommend and my dog loves her!”

“Anna did such a great job walking our dog Ferbie. She sent updates and pictures during the walk which we really appreciated. She also followed the instructions we left very well. We will definitely be reaching out to her again in the future.”

“We have been rebooking Geoff for the last few weeks because he has been such a huge help with our dog (Boomer). He's very considerate and always refills Boomer's food/water bowls when needed. He is really good at informing us if anything out of the ordinary happens and overall good at communication. I love seeing the rover card and knowing they went on a nice walk and Boomer got plenty of exercise. Plus, he takes great pictures of Boomer. I highly recommend booking Geoff for any of the services he offers!”

19th Ward dog parents share their Rover experiences
Justin was fantastic and gave me so much reassurance that Beans was in good hands while I was away. He was knowledgeable with the app so everything was tracked from pick up/drop off time, mileage, how many times Beans used the bathroom, and a great summary of how the walk went. Will definitely be using Justin again!
