I’m currently unable to house dogs in my home as per building pet policy but am happy to relocate to your place to house sit as necessary Please consider me for special requests and don’t hesitate to ask any questions. I don’t bite! (and hope your dog doesn’t either haha)

Information Joey S. would like to know about your pet
It’s best that I know EXACTLY what your dog is like, their genuine self. That way I can determine if I’m the best fit for them. I don’t care if your dog poops diarrhea every single damn time, so long as you tell me and then I’ll bring baby wipes just in case. Or if your dog despises children: might be important for me to know Foo-Foo’s penchant for baby face gets stronger the more I accidentally allow toddlers to approach! I’m happy to help adjust your dogs behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and genuine “Uncle Joey” unconditional love but this would come at a greater cost than the listed walk/housesit rate. Although I may not be able to diagnose exactly what is going on with your aggressive/anxious/depressed/fearful pet I can try to pass along what I’ve learned and studied for the past 9+ years of taking care of dogs. Uncle Joey will let your dog do whatever it wants to do for the whole half/full hour walk. I spoil the shit outta them (literally, and I’ll even clean it up too!) What’s not to like?
A typical day
I knock on your door right on-time. Pancake’s harness is already attached and you silently mouth “Thank you!“ even though you silenced yourself in the Zoom call.

I love your dog more than you do!
Pet care experience
I really love dogs. A lot. A major goal in my life is to love all people unconditionally. Luckily dogs pretty much already do that so I just follow their lead and treat them with the utmost respect they deserve ("God" is "Dog" spelled backwards, just saying!) Things that set me apart from other Rovers: - I was once a certified massage practitioner: When I pet your dog I theoretically could charge ~$100/hour! Your pup will always receive complimentary cuddles and positive reinforcement. It’s my pleasure to provide the utmost care and attention for however long you need - I've got a dog-friendly car: I’m Rochester-based but I’ll go anywhere to help out. If your furry friend has a favorite destination they like to visit I can take them on a field trip at your discretion - Is your dog a little skittish, anxious or aggressive? Or maybe suffering from separation anxiety? No need to be nervous about booking me. I take pride in assisting dogs with special needs and will gladly abide by your specific handling requests so as to improve their temperament. During a meet-and-greet we can discuss all details necessary to make sure they get the extra attention they deserve. It’s my goal for you to see behavior improvement and extra smiles when you reunite with your pup - I’ve completed the American Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid course and am fully prepared to act fast and responsibly in case of emergency Excited to meet you and your puppers! - Joey
Reviews

Joey is the best person to have take care of your pets. He goes above and beyond for your animals and takes excellent care of your home. As long as Joey is available he will always be our choice for dog sitting. Thank you Joey!!!
Joey has a wonderful personality, he absolutely aced it with my cats. He took great care of my home while I was away, I have seven cats ranging from 16 to 6 months that are all rescues. While I was away, one of them had to be medicated for a UTI and Joey did that. He fed the birds. And he sent me pictures every single day of each cat that had the cutest captions underneath! When I got home, my home was beautiful and I really knew I did the right thing by hiring Joey. He’s passionate and he really does love the animals!

Joey is absolutely wonderful! Our three Labrador boys really loved him and it put our minds at ease. He was very professional and made sure to re-visit our home before we left on our vacation so our boys could meet him again and to learn their schedule and ask questions. We had zero concerns while we were away which was very nice. He also sent us amazing photos of our boys every day. When we returned, the house was pretty much in the same shape as we left it. It was a great surprise to not have to come home to a mess. We could go on and on about how wonderful he is but overall, if you are looking for a great dog sitter, we would definitely recommend Joey!

Joey was great and a fantastic human! It was our first time using this service but I felt so comfortable leaving our dog with him and he took excellent care of him. The funny daily updates were a highlight including the absolute beautiful photography he did of our dog. Appreciate him so much!
