About: I've had pets in the house for as long as I can remember! Growing up we had dogs of all sizes, cats, turtles, tortoises, fish, and frogs. I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes, from Yorkies to Rottweilers, and love them all. I currently have one cat named Olive, and plan to adopt a dog once I'm able to move to a larger space. I'm ready to take care of anything your pet needs - bathroom breaks, cat litter scooping, cleaning up accidents, refreshing water and food, play time, brushing, oral medication, etc. I'm currently working from home a few times per week, so I have a lot more flexibility in terms of scheduling pet care and walks. Summer weekends are typically busy, but if I'm in town I'm happy to help you out. I will always care for your animals as if they were my own. My goal is to make them as comfortable as possible, especially during the first meeting. I'm always on alert for changes in body language and behaviors that may let me know their comfort level. Every pet is different, but I can guarantee that I will treat each as the very best girl/boy there is.

About: I have been a dog lover for as long as I can remember! I always loved watching animal planet and reading books about dog breeds. I have had three adopted shelter dogs over the years. Our first, a 90 lb yellow lab/dalmation mix named Woody. Then we found and adopted Buzz, a 50 lb pitbull/german shepherd mix, from the side of the road. Our current family dog is Banjo, a 110 lb foxhound/mastiff/german shepherd mix. I love dogs of all shapes and sizes but mixed breeds and shelter pups have a special place in my heart ❤️ My experience mostly comes from taking care of my own pets, although I have helped care for neighbors and friends pets as well. I have also volunteered a couple months in a shelter, walking and playing with the dogs. I can fully handle walking dogs of all sizes, feeding and playing with them. I also have experience with dogs that are anxious around people and other animals. I have never owned a cat but I have lived with roommates and a host family that owned cats. I have also done cat sitting for neighbors. I know the basics and am a quick learner for whatever you need! I am very respectful of others homes, rules and routines. Please provide me with as much detail as possible for what you need and I will do my best to help! I respond quickly, and communicative and reliable. I would love the chance to meet you and take care of your best friend 🐶🐱 I am a teacher and am off during July. During the school year I can work around the school day and also am available on weekends. I am only available to care for your animal at your home as animals are not allowed in my apartment. I do well with specific directions on walking, feeding and playing with your pet. I would love to hang out and play with them and do any other additional things you need.
