“We are so grateful for Amber! We have 3 cats, 2 of which are rescues who had a very hard life for 3 years before we took them in. One of them was never seen, aside from a quick run-away, by a previous petsitter who took care of our cats for the past 3 years. But from her very first day, Amber gained all 3 kitties' trust and affection. She not only saw our "ghost kitty," she was able to pet her. No previous petsitter had won this kitty's trust before, and certainly not within a day! Amber sent us detailed updates and photos of our happy, calm cats. We were also blown away by how thoughtful and neat she was with everything. When we came home, all 3 cats immediately came out and were happy and peaceful. Usually, at least one would hide for a little while because they'd be stressed when we were away. Not this time. Amber is truly amazing.”

About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! I’ll get mine out with him :) Lastly, I respect peoples spaces/ privacy and always clean up behind myself after using something in your space. I'd love to give your dog my unconditional love and undivided attention. Your baby is not just a pet, they are our best friends who depend on us. So Relax while you’re away, and leave the fun stuff to me! Looking for regular/ recurring clients :) I currently work part time on weekdays, twice a day for up to 7 hours. I understand that your dog may either be a nature pet or a couch potato, and I'm able to adapt to your pets needs depending on their personality. I'm clean, quiet, and active when need be. Cleanliness is a priority for me. Cleaning up waste properly and right away is a must, including picking up poop during walks.

If your dog wants a little extra exercise we can run with them as well!! Even though we live a busy life, we always find time to walk daily!
