I flaked and was not on time to meet her for the first time so that she could learn about our cat and house alarm system, and she was patient and understanding still. We are kind of fussy and picky people as far as trust goes with our cat and our house. Our house is in semi-public space within a neighborhood that draws a bit of notice if we aren't around consistently and adds some variables for safety, so it was nice to have someone who was local and understanding. It's been hard to leave town now that our cat is so high needs and frail, but this interaction was calm and reassured us that we can keep trying to live instead of feeling a bit "stuck" here due to her needs. Our little granny is 20+ years old, on 4 different medications, special food, is a bit wobbly on her feet etc. Ella was able to give her the meds in a pill pocket without issue and stopped in 2x a day. She was timely, trustworthy, and caring. We didn't expect her to stay long, but just duck in and out since Eliza sleeps most of the day and isn't high energy to play etc. but she still spent a bit of time with her and gave her attention to keep her company and stretch out her boring days without us. It was our first time fully using this site and now we feel reassured. Hire Ella!”

About: I cared for my own dog for 5 years, including as he aged into his senior years. I also watch my parents' dog whenever they go out of town. I do not have puppy training experience, but I have some with adult dogs. I work a full-time job, so any care provided will have to fit around my schedule. I am usually out of work by 2:30 and need to care for my own pets at home, but I will make all the time needed to provide proper care for yours! I live in a friendly neighborhood, and my cats are very open to meeting new animals. There are a lot of areas around my neighborhood to go for walks and some nice dogs that live around.

About: Hi there! My name has since changed to *Romeo* as I am queer :) Ive had experience with all sorts of animals since I was a young! My heart however has always lied with dogs. Ive lived with, trained, and taken care of dogs from age 15. Professionally, I am currently a counselor at Camp Bow Wow! I’ve been working there for over a year now, learning and applying a wide range of skills. In this role I’ve learned some key skills on how to ensure companions are safe and happy: 1. Body language: I observe everything from your dog’s head to tail to minimize reactivity due to human- animal misunderstandings 2. Health indicators: although I’m not a vet, I was trained to recognize irregular symptoms a dog may be displaying such as stool texture and consistency, body temperature, excessive panting and drooling, gum color, etc. Anything your dog may be struggling with from itchy skin to something greater, I’ll notify you right away! 3. Communication: parents love hearing about their babies and seeing them happy and comfortable! By regular communication, this allows me to get clear instructions to follow, assess any changes needed in care or routine, and stay up to date in case of any rapid changes or emergencies. In addition, what sets me apart is my artistic attention to detail, which allows me to adapt to your dogs needs in a creative way. I like to challenge myself by finding ways to stimulate and enrich your dog while you are away! I’m very relaxed, quiet, and easygoing, but also spontaneous and go-with-the-flow should your dog get the zoomies! About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! I give every dog the time and attention they deserve. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. About: My name is Daniel Bradley. I am a.... dogwhisperer.. just kidding (maybe). I am an undergraduate student ant SUNY Brockport studying Dance and Rover is perfect for my schedule as it allows me to pursue my education while working on my own terms and being my own boss. I am probably more energetic than your pup! I have owned dogs at all stages of life from little puppies to older dogs. I am physically active and will even run / jog with your pup! I rarely am home when boarding, i prefer to spend the day going to a dog park if I have a full house! I will go for walks, runs, and jogs with dogs who i walk, do drop in visits and sit for. I will locate the nearest park if possible or find the safest adventuring route within the neighborhood! For boarding, I am currently not available! I am happy to be available for drop in visits with your pets or house sitting for if you need to leave town! I am available for Dog and Cat caregiving Thursday through Sunday currently. I normally am free during afternoons and evenings. I prefer 1 day in advanced planning but can plan on the fly. I am attentive and responsible with my client’s space. I ensure pets do not cause havoc in home while owners are away. I ensure pets are in a safe environment at all times.
