They gave one of our dogs the daily medication she needs and even gave her a bath with a medicated shampoo. We feed our dogs Fresh Pet and there were no issues with keeping the food refrigerated. The daily updates with pictures and narrated videos were great. We could see how much fun our babies were having and were informed right away of any issues or questions that came up. We loved that they got long daily walks, lots of play time outside, and cozy time on the couch. Our dogs have different personalities but Alex and Bethany provided individualized care to each of them, making sure our more timid dog was as comfortable as possible. About: Communication and Reliability are key! I have a tuxedo cat who is turning 6 this December. I also live with my boyfriend who has two cats, one 9 and the other 2. My daily cat experience is high. Each cat has their own personalities and quirks. Beyond that, since a young age most my friends had cats with varying personalities and required age considering some were pushing 12. I would help with their care when I visited because I loved them as my own and wished to spend lots of time with them. I've learned tricks here and there to administer pills and liquid meds. About: A recent graduate of the Eastman School of Music, I'm currently playing with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra as a flutist! I've been missing my spunky dog Kora who lives back home and have always grown up with dogs, which is why I've been a sitter for Rover since I moved here in 2021. I love going for walks/runs, just hanging out, or lying next to my fireplace at home-- hopefully your dog loves some of these too! I've been taking care of dogs in total for around 15 years now, so I'm used to taking them out fairly frequently, getting up early for a morning walk, and bathing them. I am more than happy to take your dogs on a walk or watch them in my apartment, and make sure they're well-fed, have time to play, and are happy while you can go about your day :) I've raised my dog Kora from puppyhood and am very familiar with the training required for puppies. I have also fostered a handful of dogs (small dogs and one large dog) over the last few years and have experienced shy dogs who take some time to come out of their shells :) As a musician, I have a few hours here and there scattered throughout my day that I can walk or stop by/watch your pup. I'm a very active person and love being outside! I am more than happy to be outside/in your home with them as well! I unfortunately cannot house your furry friends because of my housing situation.
About: I've helped care for dogs and cats of friends when they are out of town, including walking, feeding, and cleaning up after them (including puppies, which frequently had to be cleaned up after, which I have no problem with). I am capable of handling anything that comes my way and am not easily stressed. Animal care and owner communication are my first priorities. I will do whatever you need to care for your pets, such as letting them outside in a fenced yard or putting them in a crate at the end of the visit. As I work full time, my schedule typically is weekends. However, I can do early morning walks before 8 am or after 6 pm during weekdays. Pets will be monitored closely. I stick to instructions and will ask questions if I have them. Animals will be treated with patience and respect. If house-sitting, I always put things back in their proper place and avoid touching anything that isn't required for pet care. I myself don't enjoy when folks move my things around, so I keep my hands off!

About: Murphy and I are a tag team! Please only reach out if your pets are good with other dogs. I’ve always been the girl who is obsessed with dogs. I grew up with dogs and I was the one who took care of them, and that love for caring and training has only grown. I’m the type of person who needs a lot of “outside time” so my soul dog Murphy and I spend a good amount of time playing in the courtyard and going on multiple walks a day; I truly don’t know who’s happier. Currently, I have a very open schedule and it’s just Murphy and I at home all day. Some evenings I babysit for my family out in Spencerport, but kid friendly dogs are welcome to come with me and there is also a large yard (not fenced in, but there is a 30 ft leash set up). I have a fenced in grass courtyard where the dogs can play, and my apartment is very open and there’s lots of room for dogs to play inside. My dog Murphy does not need to be crated when left alone, but I have a small cage in case anyone who visits needs it. Murphy has more toys than I care to admit, so your pups will have lots to play with.
About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! Mark was accommodating with pickup and drop off times and communicated during the day with pictures and notes. I had no stress about Gus being in good hands. Now from Gus. I am a pandemic pup—totally attached to my empty nester parents (though I really do love everyone.) I loved going to Mark’s house—hopped right out of my mom’s car and ran up to his gate. We went on walks and I got to be pals with his dogs. We played and played and I was so tired when my mom picked me up. About: I've raised two energetic puppies through adolescence and frequently provide dog-sitting services for friends in the area. I also have experience working as an enrichment specialist at a well-known doggy daycare in Rochester and volunteering as a foster for local rescues. I am experienced with anxious dogs and can adapt to your fur-baby's specific needs. I'm trained in basic human and canine CPR, and I'm skilled at recognizing early signs of reactive behavior in animals. While I'm not perfect, I'm highly attentive. Since I’m home most of the time, I’ll ensure your pet stays healthy, happy, and safe! We are an adventure duo -- you can catch us at the beach playing fetch in the water, hiking, or just taking long strolls along the canal! On days where the weather is rainy, we still get 3 walks a day (morning, noon, evening) with thorough wipe downs after! Meal times are interwoven with short training sessions. I have dedicated several rooms in my house to doggy activity areas -- agility equipment, floor mats, etc (see photos). Grooming is done very regularly. My pup has environmental allergies so we also do a water rinse daily when we return from our adventures. When your baby stays with me, they will receive the same treatment (if they are comfortable getting brushed). He is my entire life and I couldn’t be happier! I have included photos of my home (and the excessive amount of dog toys we own) in my profile. Several of the rooms in my house are dedicated to doggy activities/enrichment and I also have a fenced in yard. I have also made sure that my set up allows me to separate dogs from each other if they ever get over stimulated -- I have enough rooms where each dog can be in their own room. I also have a doggy door so most days when the weather is not atrocious the dogs can relieve themselves/play as they please. Also my sun room is dedicated to dog care so if need be I can gate off/separate pooches that get too worked up (or just need privacy eating). I do have two crates — one for super small dogs and the other for dogs up to 35 lbs. My dog is crate trained but prefers free range so I have dog beds in every single room. Dogs are welcome on furniture but please make sure they have been recently bathed (within a few days before) if you are boarding as we keep our home extremely clean (the carpets get washed every month and vacuum and swiffering are done daily). We are probably not a good fit if your dog does not get along with other dogs, because my dog is still young and very energetic. If your dog does not like to play but does not react aggressively to other dogs attempting to initiate play, Momo would be fine as he does eventually give up if the other dog does not engage him at all. When we schedule a meet and greet, you can expect to meet us outside the front yard for a couple block long walk together before going to the backyard to let the pooches sniff each other out. Since Momo is a chow-mix, he is protective by nature and does not like it if other fur-babies he does not know well try to jump on his mom so I will likely only greet your baby after I put him back in the house.

About: I have had Bruno since he was 4 months old, the first year was in and out of vets, I finally figured out he had pretty bad allergies since started allergies pills and making his food from scratch he is living his best life. About: People have called me the "dog-whisperer", but I have an affinity with animals of all kinds. I have had several happy and sometimes spoiled dogs and cats of my own throughout my life, I am also the only person I know who never lost their hamster as a child. I love going on long walks and hikes, I even once had a cat who liked to go on walks with me. Dogs I have cared for in the past, have been known to miss me after they went home and were excited to see me again the next time. I am almost always available, very punctual, quite active, and I love having a furry four legged companion on a walk or a nice long hike. I am a full time student. My availability is generally open in the afternoon and evenings during the week, with full availability on the weekend. I like to follow instructions so a list is handy, I can take your pets on walks or hikes, and im very good at keepimg animals company and entertained.
About: Hi my name is Jennel, I am 25 years and a resent Niagara University Graduate. While there I completed my Bachelors in Hospitality: Travel and Tourism. I got the opportunity to study in Europe for my last semester. I am a long time pet lover. About: I've helped care for dogs and cats of friends when they are out of town, including walking, feeding, and cleaning up after them (including puppies, which frequently had to be cleaned up after, which I have no problem with). I am capable of handling anything that comes my way and am not easily stressed. Animal care and owner communication are my first priorities. I will do whatever you need to care for your pets, such as letting them outside in a fenced yard or putting them in a crate at the end of the visit. As I work full time, my schedule typically is weekends. However, I can do early morning walks before 8 am or after 6 pm during weekdays. Pets will be monitored closely. I stick to instructions and will ask questions if I have them. Animals will be treated with patience and respect. If house-sitting, I always put things back in their proper place and avoid touching anything that isn't required for pet care. I myself don't enjoy when folks move my things around, so I keep my hands off!

“Alex and his wife Bethany were absolutely fantastic! They went above and beyond in providing the best care and attention for our two dogs. They gave one of our dogs the daily medication she needs and even gave her a bath with a medicated shampoo. We feed our dogs Fresh Pet and there were no issues with keeping the food refrigerated. The daily updates with pictures and narrated videos were great. We could see how much fun our babies were having and were informed right away of any issues or questions that came up. We loved that they got long daily walks, lots of play time outside, and cozy time on the couch. Our dogs have different personalities but Alex and Bethany provided individualized care to each of them, making sure our more timid dog was as comfortable as possible. We highly recommend booking with Alex and Bethany!”

“Kasia is a SAINT - she watched our dog for 10 days, after he had recently had a procedure to have a growth removed. He had his cone, lots of medications, and was more uncomfortable than we had expected. She was so patient with him, help with tapering his meds over his recovering, transitioned him back to his normal food, and gave him lots of love. She was fantastic with updates too. We felt terribly putting this on her, but she handled it with grace and understanding. A true empath and dog lover. She is simply the best!”

My background in the fire service has strengthened my reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to community trust. I take dog welfare seriously and treat every dog as if they were my own. I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment in my home with a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time. Dogs are always monitored, never left unattended outside, and introductions are done slowly and safely. I’m experienced with crate training and can crate dogs if needed or requested. Cleanliness, routine, and each pet’s individual comfort and safety are always my top priorities.
About: I grew up on farms in the south, so I've been around animals my whole life. I moved to Rochester specifically because of how dog friendly it is. I think dogs deserve to be treated like family because they are our family! I work from home taking care of pets is my main job. If i could fill every hour of the week with animals, I would! I give every dog the time and attention they deserve. I have a fenced in back yard and a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company.
