About: I have walked dogs and pet sat since I was 14. Currently, I am a guardian to 1 senior 10lbs dog and 2 11lbs cats. I am comfortable administering medications and caring for animals of all sizes. Other animals I have cared for include birds, tortoises, and guinea pigs. I currently work a full-time position but am free most early mornings, overnights, evenings, and weekends! I have plenty of time to attend to your pets, just give me a warning! I will treat your home and animals as if they are my own. In addition to pet care, I am happy to water plants and bring in mail/packages.

About: I had birds, a rabbit, cats, fish, and DOGGIES as a child. I’m an avid animal lover. As an adult I learned how animals are not only adorable but, in my opinion an absolutely necessary part of life. It would be my honor and delight to care for your fur babies with the same love and attention I give mine. I have a 6 year old pit/boxer mix named Storm. She is a special needs rescue and has given me so much more insight on animal behavior. Animals speak if we take the time to hear them. I work full time but, am available mornings, evenings, overnights and weekends. Monday-Friday before 10am. Open availability after 7:30pm and weekends. I may have additional availability if advance notice is provided. Since my doggie is special needs I can only do care in your home and will gladly follow your instructions. I would want to stick to your routine unless instructed otherwise!

About: I own a Husky mix named Prisma who is turning 3 this year. She is quite energic and also epileptic. She is my daily experience. However I have sat for dog a bit bigger and much smaller! That includes Shihztus, Rottweilers, Golden Retrievers, Corgis, and Border Collies. I'm patient and responsible. My goal in any work field, but especially with your loved ones and possessions, is being reliable and communicating. This is what I find in my experience to be key for providing the best care and peace of mind. I work full time as a receptionist Mon - Fri, 8 to 4:30. This provides a lot of morning visits and overnight potential. Evening walks would works great as well. For specific requests, I can even dip into PTO to make the right situation work if a mid day visit is required during the work week. My Saturdays and Sundays are fully open at this time. I'm very patient and observant when interacting with pets of different personalities. Once informed on how you'd like your loved one to be cared for, I will do so in that manner. An obvious statement, but you'd be surprised how important that is to be said. If unsure or uncertain of care, we can brainstorm together as well to make sure I'm the correct sitter for the job.

About: I’ve had pet dogs since I was a kid and I’ve always loved animals. I now have a pet cat and my part time job is me working with dogs I’m working Monday to Thursday and I’ll be able to take care of your dogs or cats on Friday’s and weekends by walking them , playing with them , feeding them , and I can also give your dogs a basic wash if requested. I’m also willing to do dog daycare at your home. I take care of my cat by brushing him, feeding him, giving him fresh water , making sure he has his shots and insurance, and giving him treats. About: A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, I'm currently a flutist with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra! I've been missing my spunky dog Kora who lives back home and have always grown up with dogs, which is why I've been a sitter for Rover since I moved here in 2021. Since then, I have done dog sittings, cat sittings, and even bird sittings! I love going for walks/runs, just hanging out, or curling up in the couch at home-- hopefully your dog loves some of these too! I've been taking care of dogs in total for around 15 years now, so I'm used to taking them out fairly frequently, getting up early for a morning walk, and bathing them. I am more than happy to take your dogs on a walk, or drop in and make sure they're well-fed and happy. I'm most experienced in home-care and will happily take care of your furry friends and house in whatever capacity you need! I've raised my dog Kora from puppyhood and am very familiar with the training required for puppies and dogs with reactivity. I have also fostered a handful of dogs (small dogs and large dogs alike) over the last few years and have experienced shy dogs who take some time to come out of their shells :) As a musician, I have a few hours here and there scattered throughout my day that I can walk or stop by/watch your pup. I'm a very active person and love being outside! I am more than happy to be outside/in your home with them as well! I unfortunately cannot house your furry friends because of my housing situation.

About: I've taken care of cats and dogs since I was 15. Family, neighbors, friends, and even bosses have turned to me for their pet care. I have a 9-5 job. I am available Sundays and Saturdays, and have flexibility on Mondays and Thursdays. I may also be flexible on an as-needed basis. When I pet-sit for others, I respect/adhere to their criteria (e.g., indoor cats are kept indoors, dogs needing fences are kept in fenced areas, etc.). With my own cats, I make sure they get all the cuddle and playtime they need. I do the same when dog-sitting (my sister's Golden Retriever is a bundle full of energy!) I feed my cats wet food twice a day and ensure that their dry food and water bowls are kept filled. When pet-sitting (dogs or cats), I always follow the feeding routine as requested by the owner. I always pay close attention to pet behavior, being mindful of any unusual behavior. I make sure to let the owner know of such behavior to determine whether any emergency action is needed. I am also very chatty with all pets, so rest assured that they won't feel lonely!

“Joey is amazing with all my animals. My Cane Corso takes special introducing and not everyone I introduce him to takes the job. He liked Joey from the first day. I actually have a little farmstead with several types of animals, including a horse, a goat, an emu, over 50 chickens and other types of fowl. I even feed some of the wildlife! Joey does all of it. I get great pics and I'm always so happy with the detailed list he leaves of all the chores and extras that he does. He even remembers things that I forget to mention sometimes! Number one call for me all the time is Joey. Besides, he gave me a very reasonable farmstead rate. I highly recommend this sitter, especially if you have animals not listed on Rover!”

About: First, what sets us apart is that we can provide pet care for many animals, not just dogs and cats. If you are someone who needs care for all of your pets such as fish, birds, and small rodents. We are very comfortable with that and we think it would be fun to provide those services too! We have been dog sitting together for friends for over the past 7 years. Kate has been for over 20 years. We live in Rochester and are "all in" with pet care. James works at an elementary school and helps out at home in the evenings. Kate is a full-time student working on her dissertation. We are able to house sit at our clients house and we fit our daily routine with wherever we are at in the city. We always make sure that the area is “pet-proofed”. Meaning that there are no choking hazards or other things that they can get to. Keeping the home tidy and clean is very important to us.
