“Jackson is great with my dog! He listens well to me and is really nice. I'm looking forward to having him take care of my animals on my upcoming vacation. I highly recommend Jackson.”

“Heidi was great!! My dog is an apartment dog now, but he once was a backyard dog. He’s not super used to the whole going on a walk in the city thing, and she did fantastic! He has severe reactivity issues and that wasn’t an issue for her. He went 2 and a half miles (way longer than i’d ever have the time to do) and it’s worth every penny. I will def use her again for future walks!!”

About: I have 18 years of experience taking care of pets including large and small dogs, puppy and senior dogs, birds, cats and fish. I currently take care of 2 dogs in my family, one large and one small, and the large one has special needs. I have experience administering oral medication and subcutaneous injections, and have had many years of reading domestic animal behavior . I have treated dogs and cats abroad at a shelter in Thailand so I have some experience with shy and nervous animals as well. During my visits, I like to focus on mental enrichment and some fun energetic play time! I’m available for In House Sitting (long term and short term), and available generally 9am-6pm each day, depending on your pups needs. I am always willing to be flexible and will try to find the best time that fits your needs! I make sure that your pet’s needs are met while giving them some love and attention while you are away! Walks are my favorite, but I also enjoy chilling on a couch snuggling and watching a show. I will also clean up if any messes are made (as a pet parent I know this all too well).

“Lucy was a lifesaver! My friends couldn’t watch Zeus and she came to the rescue, replying to my request super fast AND being available all the days I needed her. She was very responsive when I asked for updates. Missed my fur baby but had a smooth weekend getaway knowing Zeus was in good hands! Will definitely book her again!”

“Marianna has been walking our Olive this week (and hopefully for many weeks to come!) and has been wonderful. Even though her first day she could barely get in our door due to a dysfunctional lock and key, she kept trying and because of that Olive got her walk and was much more at ease when we came home from work than she would've been if Marianna had not taken the time and effort to make sure she got in. Our dog has a few weird quirks and requirements, but Marianna had been extremely understanding and accommodating. We will definitely continue to use her as her schedule allows. Thanks Marianna!”

About: I have taken care of my family dog for 5 years and focus on loving her the best that I can and look forward to doing the same with the pets that I care for with Rover! I am very flexible and will be at home most of the time so I can help take care of your dog at the drop of a hat! I have a very pet friendly home. I can keep them over night and make sure they are well taken care of while you are away.

About: I helped raise my dog and my girlfriend’s dogs from puppyhood, and I also care for my 14-year-old dog back home. I’m experienced with both energetic pups and senior pets who need extra love and patience. Currently I am working part-time and that is in the mornings. So have a lot of time on my hands at the moment. Whatever works best for you! I live in an apartment, so lots of walks around the surrounding neighborhood or the little dog park next to me. I live just south of downtown Raleigh.

“Bryn was awesome! We had a last minute request and she was a great communicator, showed up early, and was very helpful and loving to our dog. I really appreciated how easy she made it on us. Will definitely use her again!”

“Corinne came to our rescue, providing excellent care for our dogs on very short notice. One of our dogs is very energetic and he takes a while to warm up to strangers - Corinne gave him the time he needed to warm up to her and she provided the exercise he needed. She sent pictures and was quick to communicate. We would recommend her to others and will use her again. Thanks Corinne!!!!”

“Ellen has been so helpful with Milo. Most of our bookings have been last minute and she has been very accommodating. She takes plenty of pictures and Milo is a very happy pup when I get home. She is our go to walker!”

About: I have a 3 year old goldendoodle, Drogo, that loves the company of other dogs and even friendly cats. I live in an apartment with a dog park that's downtown. I can walk multiple pets around the neighborhood to mentally stimulate them. The best part of living in an apartment is that I can attend to your dogs needs so they won't feel lonely or abandoned during their stay with me and Drogo. I work from home for a tech company and I have a lot of time to sit and care for pets like my own 🙂. I am in a 1 bedroom apartment in the downtown/ glenwood area. While I don't have a backyard, we can take walks around the neighborhood (when the temperature drops in the day) or sit at my apartments dog park to play.

About: I have been a pet sitter on Wag for over a year now and I absolutely love it. I have pet sat for over 35 clients including walks and at home sits. I have several years of experience pet sitting for friends and family and am a current pet owner myself. I own two dogs, one of which is a puppy. I have experience caring for puppies and elderly dogs in my own home and pet sitting. I also have experience working with cats and have previously owned a kitty myself. I am a college student just looking to work with my favorite animals! I absolutely adore dogs and cats and want to spend every free minute I have with them. I usually do most of my sitting on the weekends and afternoons/evenings, basically anytime I’m not in class. I have a very high energy puppy so I have lots of experience with play time and getting wiggles out. I love to stay active and always enjoy a good walk as well. I am comfortable feeding, giving medicine, crating, and cuddling with of course. I also have worked with very timid dogs and understand the importance of slow introductions and treats to help dogs feel more comfortable.

About: I've been around dogs all of my life, including my own and helping out neighbors. I've helped watch dogs from as small as a chihuahua up to a big lab. I am currently studying for my CPA and have a very flexible schedule. I can work around most odd times that would be inconvenient for most people. I can follow whatever routine is normal for your dog whether that means just letting them out in the yard, walking them, letting the dog roam free in the house, or crating them.

About: I am an incoming graduate student who is taking care of pets for a little extra money. I have one cat named Zuko who I adopted in college and took with me across the country to grad school! I am available any time of day for home visits or walks. I can even come multiple times a day if needed. I am also available weekends and nights. - I will make sure they have the basic necessities like food, water, and any necessary medications. However most importantly I will make sure they get the love and attention they deserve. Pets are our families and when we go on vacation we don’t want our furry friends back at home to feel lonely. This is where I step in and take care of both their physical and emotional needs.

sofia j.
“Sofia is my neighbor and whenever I go on vacation I always ask her to check on my two huskies. They are very energetic and love visitors and she doesn’t mind when they jump on her. She makes sure that they have everything they need and then some. I also get lots of amazing photos of my pups without asking which is really great when i’m in vacation and I miss them. I generally go twice a year for 2-3 weeks and she checked on them every day and would take them on walks to burn off energy. I am grateful she was there because she genuinely cared about my dogs.”
