My home is a pet-friendly space where every detail has been considered to ensure your furry friend's well-being. The floors are pet-friendly, making it easy to clean up any accidents or spills. I've secured all potential hazards and have removed any toxic plants or substances from reach. There are plenty of cozy spots for your pet to relax, and I've created a designated play area for their enjoyment. Rest assured, your pet will be in a secure and welcoming environment, where their safety and happiness are my top priorities.

About: First, I live in Craig, but willing to try to make pickups work in Steamboat, meeting halfway or we travel for the gym often, so please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss. We have a large yard that is great for active dogs. There is always an adult in the house to watch/care for your pup, my mother in law lives with us, Mark is home often and we have 2 kids, ages 10 and 12. I enjoy being around dogs, and feel comfortable dealing with some simple behavior issues. I am very specific with my dog and willing to be as specific with yours if needed. I am active and can give walks daily. Please don't hesitate to let me know if any special needs and I'll do my best to be accommodating. I am active lifestyle and so going on walks and waking up early are part of my normal process. I am willing to work with any situation as best I can. I maintain control of situations and always attentive to behaviors or signs of fear or aggression to make sure it is addressed before any issues arise. I used to train horses when I was younger so the patience and consistency is something I've grown up with towards animals.

I am very particular about who takes care of my cat, Penny, so we did a meet and greet prior to the hire and immediately Penny started rubbed on Cierra's legs and purring. I now have an amazing young lady to watch her when I'm gone. The value of the service Cierra provides is well worth the cost. She let me know when she checked in and out at the house and takes photos of them playing together. It feels really good to know I have someone I can trust while I'm away.”

About: Hi! My name is Katie. I work full time as a nurse at the hospital. I have always had a passion for animals. I volunteer at the local shelter and have a little 12 year old chihuahua myself. My schedule is very flexible, and I am happy to make it work to suit the needs of yourself and your pets! Working full time as an RN is only 3 nights a week, so I have a great deal of availability and flexibility! Message me for more info 😊 I have a large living room with hardwood floors and can provide treats, dog beds, and blankets to make your pet more comfortable. I live right by the core trail and am happy to take your pets for long walks all over town.

About: I am an animal lover and will do anything in my power to ensure your furbaby is well-cared for and communication is clear and exceeds your expectations so you can ease your worries and take care of business or enjoy your vacation. I am available for drop in visits morning, throughout the day and at the end of the day. If your pet needs special attention let me know! If they are cat friendly they can stay at my place otherwise I can make arrangements to potentially stay at your place if your pet needs overnight care. My attention to detail and deep compassion will guide my care as I communicate with you to best understand needs, schedule and expectation of care. About: I have taken care of dogs all my life, and I love them all no matter how big or small. I am also a social worker, so I am very good at taking care of those who need a little extra care. I have experience with many different temperaments and understand dog body language quite well. I have also used Rover for boarding my dog, so I understand the feeling of trusting your dog with a (semi) stranger! I will do my best to alleviate any of your anxiety by sending pictures and updates throughout our time together :) I am available to do house-sitting and dog walking. My partner in crime, Honey, will be spending the night with me wherever I am house sitting. She will provide loving companionship to your animal! I always make sure to respect other peoples homes. On walks, I can keep distance from other dogs walking to prevent any training lapses or bad interactions.

About: I've done overnight house stays for several families in the Yampa Valley this year. Longest stay was 10 days. I love getting to know the dogs in the Valley and getting to go on great walks with them. I provide quality pet care and can provide references. When doing overnight house stays, on weekdays, I feed and walk the dogs before I go to work (I start work at 8am), and then after I get off work I come home to feed and walk them again. On weekends it is much easier, and I have all day to walk and feed them. I treat the pets with total respect and love. If the pets require any specific medication I can certainly administer it to them in their food.

About: I grew up with a lot of dogs and cats. I have always loved playing with them and taking them on walks. I have spent time at a dog rescue walking dogs and cleaning their kennels. Right now I am working part time as a gardener. I have Monday and Friday and the weekend available. I will also have evenings after 4 available. I have a nice apartment, that has a court yard for your dog to run around in. I have two very friendly cats as well.

About: I have always had family pets. Growing up we had an Australian Shepherd for 18 years so I know how to handle both young and old dogs. I currently have a mini Aussie, Olive, who is 4 so I am used to energy as well. We have also always had cats in my family and have recently welcomed a new kitten, Gnocchi. I have lovingly cared for my own pets and others including for families I previously nannied for. I hope I can be a good fit for you and your furry family! I currently work full-time Tuesday-Saturday. I can take walk breaks if needed during the day and can do mornings/evenings. On my days off I am available for all day care. I have a kitten and mini aussie who love their space but are willing to share it with the right friend. I prefer to come to you but can make an exception for the right fit after safe introductions. I'm easy going and understand the intricacies of each individual animal so am willing to make any accommodations you would like!

About: Hi! :) I’ve been a Steamboat local for 14 years! I have grown up with dogs (had 2 labs) who have both passed. Although I am unable to get another dog right now, I absolutely love dogs (the bigger the better!) and love being around them. I have experience with dog, cat, and house sitting. Longest stay has been 1 week, but definitely open to longer. Have sat in Hayden and Clark and steamboat. We’ll always make time for your pets! We live in Hayden so house/pet sitting in steamboat would be ideal so we can spend more time with them. We would prefer to stay in clients place if possible, No yard at our house but we would take them on walks. It would be both my boyfriend and I!

About: My name is Kristi and I have been a dog owner and lover for my entire life. I have been a working as a veterinary assistant for the past 5 years and I have over 15 years experience dog walking and pet sitting. I am comfortable administering medication as well as injecting insulin. My schedule is flexible and I can be available on short notice. I am currently working part time during the week at a veterinary clinic and my weekends are wide open. I have lots of time to take dogs on walks or hikes. I abide by all instructions pertaining to feeding, walking, and anything else regarding your dog’s schedule and needs. I make sure your dog is getting everything they deserve while they are in my care.

About: I have been taking care of dogs and other animals for almost 20 years. I showed dogs in 4-H when I was younger where I trained my dog in obedience, agility and confirmation classes. I have experience with small and large dogs. I am currently very flexible with my schedule. I can take of pets most of the week. My schedule may change so to match my husbands work schedule but should be available at least three days a week. I can do at home visits as many reasonable times I need to. For walking I can take them around the neighborhood or to the dogs favorite park.
