About: First, I live in Craig, but willing to try to make pickups work in Steamboat, meeting halfway or we travel for the gym often, so please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss. We have a large yard that is great for active dogs. There is always an adult in the house to watch/care for your pup, my mother in law lives with us, Mark is home often and we have 2 kids, ages 10 and 12. I enjoy being around dogs, and feel comfortable dealing with some simple behavior issues. I am very specific with my dog and willing to be as specific with yours if needed. I am active and can give walks daily. Please don't hesitate to let me know if any special needs and I'll do my best to be accommodating. I am active lifestyle and so going on walks and waking up early are part of my normal process. I am willing to work with any situation as best I can. I maintain control of situations and always attentive to behaviors or signs of fear or aggression to make sure it is addressed before any issues arise. I used to train horses when I was younger so the patience and consistency is something I've grown up with towards animals.

About: I have always had family pets. Growing up we had an Australian Shepherd for 18 years so I know how to handle both young and old dogs. I currently have a mini Aussie, Olive, who is 4 so I am used to energy as well. We have also always had cats in my family and have recently welcomed a new kitten, Gnocchi. I have lovingly cared for my own pets and others including for families I previously nannied for. I hope I can be a good fit for you and your furry family! I currently work full-time Tuesday-Saturday. I can take walk breaks if needed during the day and can do mornings/evenings. On my days off I am available for all day care. About: I grew up with a lot of dogs and cats. I have always loved playing with them and taking them on walks. I have spent time at a dog rescue walking dogs and cleaning their kennels. Right now I am working part time as a gardener. I have Monday and Friday and the weekend available. I will also have evenings after 4 available. I have a nice apartment, that has a court yard for your dog to run around in. I have two very friendly cats as well.

About: Hello my name is Mayra and I have been on Rover for about 10 years now, and absolutely love it! I have met wonderful pets, people, and have great interactions with all my clients. The reason I am on Rover is to love your pet as if they were mine! unfortunately due to my traveling life style in the past, I have not been able to have my own pet but, I lOVE DOGS, and every animal! I have been dog sitting for about 8 years, during college friends could rely on me to bring over their dogs when they were going out of town or for the weekend. I grew up with a golden lab named Baby. I love to take dogs on hikes in the mountains or just hangout at the park. I often go to Cherry Creek Dog Park, where it makes my soul super happy that dogs can roam free in total bliss. I play tug-0- war, or the simple belly scratch for hours while watching a movie. I have experience with giving pets medicine and being cautious of dietary needs. I am now in Steamboat and Yampa and can commute to both areas. About: I have been taking care of dogs and other animals for almost 20 years. I showed dogs in 4-H when I was younger where I trained my dog in obedience, agility and confirmation classes. I have experience with small and large dogs. I am currently very flexible with my schedule. I can take of pets most of the week. My schedule may change so to match my husbands work schedule but should be available at least three days a week. I can do at home visits as many reasonable times I need to. For walking I can take them around the neighborhood or to the dogs favorite park.

About: I understand the individuality of animals and how they need to be cared for differently. I am high energy so they’ll get a plenty of exercise and highly attentive to detail, so any special instructions will not be missed. I currently work 7-3 M-F. I am still available for house sitting on weekdays if you’re alright with pets being left alone about 8.5 hours on those days. I care for others’ pets and homes as if they were my own. I ensure pets are well exercised, cared for and feel loved in their owners’ absence.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was around 8 years old and have a true passion for animals. Dog sitting was my first means of income as a child with my neighbors (and parents) allowing me to take their dogs into my home while they were out of town. I also grew up with a number of dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and rodents. Since childhood my love for animals, especially dogs has only grown and for the first time in my life I have no pet of my own. For that reason, Rover is the perfect opportunity for me to spend time where my heart is and surround myself with what I love by also helping others.
