About: What your pup gets on a stay stay with them: ~ At least 2 walks a day. (unless otherwise directed) ~ Affection galore (one of the most important parts, and they will still be happy to go home to you. :) ~ Feeding schedule and types of food stuck to (a change in food is one of the things that can make pups most nervous). ~ A peaceful time and place to sleep. ~ And, play! (if so desired) ~ and pictures and videos for you, depending on whether the pups keep doing what they are doing while I break out my phone. HaHa! My dear Poco has crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge: April 29, 2024. She lived a very long a full life and I continue this work knowing she is still my “assistant”. I do sometimes have more than one sit at a time, so please specify if your pal(s) are amicable to making new furiends. I am around quite often for your pet’s needs. I wake, walk and feed us all and then do some of my own work. I make sure to play, pet and cuddle thoroughout the day. I am also well versed at care for birds and small fuzzy creatures (hamsters, etc.) Making sure people's fur-children are safe is my number one priority. I take safety measures such as always checking leashes and harnesses are secure and tight enough so they won't slip out. I wrap the leash around my wrist in a way that will keep them secure even if they get startled. I check areas to make sure there are no tempting things to eat on walks or in any areas. I listen to pet "owners" regarding what they know about their "kids" and make sure to follow instructions.

About: Since I’m unable to have a pet of my own, pet sitting is something I truly enjoy! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I am very familiar with animal husbandry, as I grew up caring for livestock along with our family animals too. I currently work a very flexible schedule, especially in the summer time. I can take multiple breaks in my day to best accommodate your pets needs I am unable to offer pet sitting in my home at this time. I always treat your home as I would mine, and leave it better than I found it.

About: I have over 5 years of experience working with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes and temperaments. I can administer medication. From cuddles to hikes and everything in between, I pride myself on tailoring my care to each individual pet's needs 😊 As an early riser, I am available for drop in visits/walks from 4 am through 10 pm. I do work a serving job with six hour shifts, but am available anytime I'm not at work. I am available for overnight care as well. I do not have any pets in my household but am fully set up to accommodate dogs as well as cats for overnight stays. I have plenty of space to store a crate if needed. I also do in-home visits.

About: Hello Steamboat neighbors! I'm Maggie and I live locally and work remotely, making me a great candidate if you are going out of town and want someone to spend a lot of time with your dog (or cat)! Overnights or drop bys are both possible and I'm more than happy to take a dog on a long walk or run! I have over a decade of experience with cat and dog sitting (including taking care of my own cat, Manny). My preference is to start by meeting you and your animal for 30 minutes to see if it is a good fit for everyone and go from there! Thanks I work remotely in Steamboat and am available to drop by or walk before and after work as well as lunch time. My schedule is flexible! If you book overnight, I can work remotely from your home! I cannot watch dogs or cats at my own house as I have a cat who likes to be an only child! While caring for your animals, I will follow instructions on how your animal behaves with other anmials and how you like them to be exercised and cared for.

I am a teacher so have the whole summer off to play! During the school year, my husband has a flexible schedule so between the two of us, we can take care of whatever your pet needs! About: I have been caring for pups since childhood and have a true passion for animals. Dog sitting was my first means of income as a child with my neighbors (and parents) allowing me to care for their dogs into my home while also growing up with a number of dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and rodents. My love for animals has only grown and for the first time in my life I have no pets of my own. For that reason, Rover is the perfect opportunity for me to spend time where my heart is and surround myself with what I love while also helping others. I have a great deal of experience training puppies as well as handling dogs with behavioral issues. Look forward to hearing from you! I am available to provide frequent care every day of the week. About: I love being outside and am very active so your pet will get lots of exercise. I’m also patient and willing to work with shy or stubborn cats and dogs. I’m a behavior analyst so I have a preliminary understanding of how to discourage inappropriate behaviors. I work part time in person downtown Steamboat, and part time telehealth so I am home a lot. In addition to myself, my boyfriend is home in the evenings. We have two dogs in the home (1 year and 2 years, both fixed and friendly!). I believe that pets need to be mentally stimulated so in my own home, we have lots of toys for animals to play with. I’m also very active and if your pet is up for it, love going on long walks and to the dog park. When I’m in someone else’s home providing care, I’m more than willing to give lots of cuddles and play time as needed or whatever you request!

Starting with neighbors, l've worked my way to being trusted by friends, family, and coworkers as well to watch their furry friends. I have a very flexible job so I can check in on your pet and take them on walks throughout the day. I rarely travel on the weekend and am readily available to check on, watch or walk your pet! I do not have any pets currently so your friend would have all my attention! I live centrally in Steamboat Springs and am happy to offer house sitting and dog walking services. About: Growing up, I have always been around pets as they were always a large part of the family. Locally, I have house/dog sat for a couple of families and am always happy and eager to help out and have had very positive experiences. I feel comfortable around animals, large or small, cat or dog. I understand that for many animals keeping a routine is key, such as meals and medications. I feel comfortable coming to homes to house sit because I know that many animals feel more relaxed and at ease in the familiar environment of their homes. I also feel that physical activity is very important; walks on the core trail, hikes around town, playing fetch. Anything to get us both some fresh air!
