I've been in Steamboat for over five years and have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention and reliable care. Whether your cat is playful and curious, loves chasing toys, or prefers a cozy nap in their favorite sunny spot, I'm happy to match their personality and routine. Before we begin, I like to learn about your pet's personality, daily schedule, favorite activities, feeding routine, medications, and anything else that helps them feel comfortable. During each visit, I'll make sure your pet has everything they need, including fresh water, meals on schedule, exercise or playtime, potty breaks (for dogs), litter box cleaning (for cats), and plenty of attention and affection. Whether your pet is energetic and loves to play or prefers a calm companion, I'll tailor my care to what makes them happiest. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with the same respect I'd want someone to show mine. I'll keep everything clean and tidy, follow any instructions you've provided, and make sure your pet feels safe and secure in their familiar environment. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages after each visit, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, well cared for, and in good hands.

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets for years. My own dog Koi, a 5-year-old mixed breed, lives with us full-time and is great with other dogs, so your pup will have a built-in playmate. Koi and I go on daily walks together, rain or shine, so your dog will always get plenty of exercise and attention. I work from home, so there's almost always someone around to give your pup attention, bathroom breaks, and playtime throughout the day. Daily walks are already part of my routine with my dog Koi, so your pet will easily join in on that consistent schedule. I don't have a fenced yard, but have plenty of grass space right at home plus a park just a short walk away for extra playtime and exercise. My 5 yr old mixed breed dog, Koi, is friendly and great with other dogs and will keep your fur baby company. Koi lives in our house full-time, so guest dogs join an already calm, settled home environment. Since I work from home, your dog won't be left alone for long stretches. Weekends are quite active in our house, often including 8+ mile hikes or long lake days, so your pup will get plenty of outdoor adventure.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was little, mostly house sitting and through my parents and sister's many different pets. I love training, walking, and cuddling with these empathetic creatures. I also have some experience in helping out at a dog boarding and day care facility in Steamboat Springs. I graduated December 2021 with my Outdoor Education AA and my Sustainability Studies BA from Colorado Mountain College. I then had the privilege to travel internationally and more locally for a year afterwards but the yampa valley curse sucked me back in! I now live in Steamboat full time. Last year I was unfortunately laid off from my position as Conservation Corps Program Manager at Rocky Mountain Youth Corps due to federal funding cuts. BUT lucky for you and your pets that does mean that I have more availability for walks and sitting! I am also working at Mary’s Mountain Cookies downtown. I can provide any environment that best suits your dog. I want them to feel safe and to stick with their routine while you are away. I prefer house sitting rather than drop ins with dogs that are not used to their owners being away for long periods of time. I will do my best to provide stability, basic needs, and of course lots of love, attention and cuddles! Aside from the occasional travels, outdoor adventures, and family visits, I am working almost full time at Mary’s Mountain Cookies downtown. I do have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and can check on pups during my breaks etc. I want your dog to be the most comfortable they can be while you are gone. I will try to stick to their normal routine and training as closely as possible and provide them lots of love and play time!

About: I love dogs and have had many of them, so I am excited to watch your dog! My entire family love to meet new dogs and make friends I work from home, and my son loves spending time with dogs when he is home in the evenings and weekends. I walk in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and feed on schedule. I take dogs out on leash and keep them in a secure, climate-controlled room when we must leave the house. I walk dogs at least 15 minutes every 4 hours.

About: I grew up on a farm and have taken care of all kinds of animals my entire life. I love animals, and will treat your pets with the same love and care as I do for my own (1 cat one dog, both good with other animals). I have raised multiple cats and dogs throughout my life. I am working full time during the week, 8-4 Monday-Friday. I work as a life enrichment coordinator at Casey's pond, where I actually bring my dog (and sometimes my cat!) to work and they get to spend time with residents. This job allows me a lot of flexibility, and I am able to come home every 2 hours. I am free every weekend, and overnight care is also possible with my schedule. I have a fenced in yard and an guest bedroom which your pet could stay in, we are also able to fit a crate in here. My pets are allowed on all the furniture. I have a well behaved 1.5 year old dog who would love nothing more than to show your dog (or cat) around our house, and a 13 year old cat who is absolutely oblivious to any other animals and just does her own thing. I love spending time outside and will play with / walk your dogs if desired!

About: I am an animal lover and will do anything in my power to ensure your furbaby is well-cared for and communication is clear and exceeds your expectations so you can ease your worries and take care of business or enjoy your vacation. I am available for drop in visits morning, throughout the day and at the end of the day. If your pet needs special attention let me know! If they are cat friendly they can stay at my place otherwise I can make arrangements to potentially stay at your place if your pet needs overnight care. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I’ve had all types of pets ranging from dogs and cats to horses and reptiles and have 15+ years of experience in pet sitting. I have extensive experience with horses and farm animals as well, through riding, competing, and training horses for most of my life. My 1.5-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog, Ruger, comes with me to any stays that I book. He is very well behaved and friendly with all animals. When I am not at your house (at work, errands, etc.), he goes back to stay at my house. If you have ANY questions at all about me or my services, feel free to reach out and I would love to get to know you and your furry friend! I work Monday – Thursday at the hospital and have short mid-day lunch breaks, but if you live within 5 minutes of the hospital, I can often make mid-day potty breaks work with my schedule.
