About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was little, mostly house sitting and through my parents and sister's many different pets. I love training, walking, and cuddling with these empathetic creatures. I also have some experience in helping out at a dog boarding and day care facility in Steamboat Springs. I graduated December 2021 with my Outdoor Education AA and my Sustainability Studies BA from Colorado Mountain College. I then had the privilege to travel internationally and more locally for a year afterwards but the yampa valley curse sucked me back in! I now live in Steamboat full time. Last year I was unfortunately laid off from my position as Conservation Corps Program Manager at Rocky Mountain Youth Corps due to federal funding cuts. BUT lucky for you and your pets that does mean that I have more availability for walks and sitting! I am also working at Mary’s Mountain Cookies downtown. I can provide any environment that best suits your dog. I want them to feel safe and to stick with their routine while you are away. I prefer house sitting rather than drop ins with dogs that are not used to their owners being away for long periods of time. I will do my best to provide stability, basic needs, and of course lots of love, attention and cuddles! Aside from the occasional travels, outdoor adventures, and family visits, I am working almost full time at Mary’s Mountain Cookies downtown. I do have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and can check on pups during my breaks etc. I want your dog to be the most comfortable they can be while you are gone. I will try to stick to their normal routine and training as closely as possible and provide them lots of love and play time!

About: I've had and taken care of many types of pets. I can offer my dog and pet care services with confidence and reliability. If you're boarding, I have a large house with a large fenced yard. My yard can also be divided and fenced off within. I do own dogs of my own that love to play and will sure keep each other busy! Dogs/pets are family here, I limit the amount of dogs to maintain a personalized experience in our home. We want to create a cozy-at-home feeling, so they will be comfortable, spoiled, warm and loved. I'm comfortable with puppies and senior dogs. About: I love dogs and have had many of them, so I am excited to watch your dog! My entire family love to meet new dogs and make friends I work from home, and my son loves spending time with dogs when he is home in the evenings and weekends. I walk in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and feed on schedule. I take dogs out on leash and keep them in a secure, climate-controlled room when we must leave the house. I walk dogs at least 15 minutes every 4 hours.

About: Having been a dog lover since childhood, I’ve always had dog sitting gigs for a side hustle. I also managed a professional boarding kennel for 5 years where I learned to care for pets of all sizes, personalities and needs. The great outdoors are my life, and I have grown into a passion hunting dogs, and have spent the last 4 years training my Labrador retriever. I have two dogs of my own, West, my four year old trusty hunting black Labrador, and Tilly a nine year old German Shepherd mix. I’m mostly available on weekends (Friday-Sunday), but depending on your dog’s daily needs, I can be flexible. I live in Oak Creek, but work in Steamboat Springs at a very dog friendly environment. I ensure your pet gets the basic care they need, plus extra love, photos, and time outside. I am flexible on whether you want me to stay in your home, or in mine, again depending on the specific pet’s needs and location.

I felt comfortable with her from the initial meet and greet as she asked great questions and took lots of notes to make sure my dog would get the best care possible while we were away. She sent lots of photos and updates including screen shots of their daily walk totals which I appreciated very much. She really customized her day around the activities my dog enjoys and treated her like a member of the family. My dog was relaxed and happy at the end of the stay and Suzanne even sent her home with a sweet card and gift bag with some fun surprises. You can tell Suzanne loves pet sitting and it gave us peace of mind knowing that our dog was getting loving care while we were away. About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 13 years old and have previously owned a dog for over 16 years. I am excellent at training new dogs and am fully capable of taking care of their every need. I have experience with both large and small dogs and am confident handling either size. I adore both dogs and cats and will show the same love and attention to your pet as if it were my own. I have very flexible hours and can typically choose my own schedule, so I would be able to dedicate extra time and attention to caring for your pet and making sure all of their needs are met. I live in a pet friendly apartment with a balcony that is pet safe and have a yard as well as a park that is very close to where I live. Boarded dogs would typically go on walks 3 times a day unless preferred differently by owner and play time would happen regularly throughout the day.

They can snooze on a comfy queen sized bed or I can set up their own dog bed whatever makes them feel most at home. My own dogs sleeps in my bed, so your pup will have their own peaceful space to unwind and rest. Plus, we have a huge backyard that’s perfect for playtime, potty breaks, and getting out all that extra energy.
