I also managed a professional boarding kennel for 5 years where I learned to care for pets of all sizes, personalities and needs. The great outdoors are my life, and I have grown into a passion hunting dogs, and have spent the last 4 years training my Labrador retriever. I have two dogs of my own, West, my four year old trusty hunting black Labrador, and Tilly a nine year old German Shepherd mix. “Suzannah did a spectacular job with our fuzzball while we were out of town for the week. Charlie (the fuzzball) has always been timid around new people and defensive around larger dogs. Suzannah gave him all the cuddles and tummy scratches Charlie needed to feel comfortable early on. By the second day, he was playing with the other dogs and begging her for attention just like he would with us. In fact, he seemed sad to be leaving at the end of his stay. About: I have experience in all things dog walking, training, crate training, bath time, feeding time, medicine distribution, playtime, socializing, house training, dog birthday parties, and specialized attention. I prioritize dogs health and walkies so I always get up in the cold mornings, feed them on time, take good walks, and take them to the park for socialization. About: Lots of experience with dogs in particular. Always enjoy time with them and I think they enjoy time with me. And our 2 girls are very welcoming and eager to have new friends visit. I work from home so having another mouth or 2 around to feed and a friend or 2 more to play with is never an issue. Yard is not fenced but pets will never be left outside unattended. About: I've had and taken care of many types of pets. I can offer my dog and pet care services with confidence and reliability. If you're boarding, I have a large house with a large fenced yard. My yard can also be divided and fenced off within. I do own dogs of my own that love to play and will sure keep each other busy! Dogs/pets are family here, I limit the amount of dogs to maintain a personalized experience in our home. We want to create a cozy-at-home feeling, so they will be comfortable, spoiled, warm and loved. I'm comfortable with puppies and senior dogs. I am a stay at home mom so I am home all day for any activities, and also have a partner who loves to help with doggie love and care! About: Having been a dog lover since childhood, I’ve always had dog sitting gigs for a side hustle. I also managed a professional boarding kennel for 5 years where I learned to care for pets of all sizes, personalities and needs. The great outdoors are my life, and I have grown into a passion hunting dogs, and have spent the last 4 years training my Labrador retriever. I have two dogs of my own, West, my four year old trusty hunting black Labrador, and Tilly a nine year old German Shepherd mix. I’m mostly available on weekends (Friday-Sunday), but depending on your dog’s daily needs, I can be flexible. I live in Oak Creek, but work in Steamboat Springs at a very dog friendly environment. I ensure your pet gets the basic care they need, plus extra love, photos, and time outside. I am flexible on whether you want me to stay in your home, or in mine, again depending on the specific pet’s needs and location.
About: I grew up with 3 dogs and my father is a veterinarian so I have been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. Throughout high school and college I house sat often for family friends and my own family’s dogs. I now have my own dog who I love more than anything. I am a very active person who loves to bring my dog along on adventures and would be excited to add your dog to the fun:) I work part time as a nanny which is very flexible and allows me to swing home to check on doggies if i’m working for longer than the dog can be alone. I have experience watching doggies in my own home and in others home. l live next to great walking trails and a great park for fetch. My doggie would love to keep yours company but she can also be in her kennel if that makes any owners more comfortable.

“Suzannah did a spectacular job with our fuzzball while we were out of town for the week. Charlie (the fuzzball) has always been timid around new people and defensive around larger dogs. Suzannah gave him all the cuddles and tummy scratches Charlie needed to feel comfortable early on. By the second day, he was playing with the other dogs and begging her for attention just like he would with us. In fact, he seemed sad to be leaving at the end of his stay. About: I have experience in all things dog walking, training, crate training, bath time, feeding time, medicine distribution, playtime, socializing, house training, dog birthday parties, and specialized attention. I prioritize dogs health and walkies so I always get up in the cold mornings, feed them on time, take good walks, and take them to the park for socialization. I base my schedule around letting them out and giving them enough playtime to reduce boredom. My house is clear of any hazards and all cleaning supplies are put away. Since it’s not my pet, we will not be going off leash on walks.

He is a SUCKER for an offered belly so often his choosing to work out or doing any work around the house is ignored in favor of rubbing bellies! * I'm in a very quiet and dog-friendly neighborhood. * I have a nice side-yard but it is not fenced in. Dogs are never let out on their own. * Dogs are allowed on furniture and to sleep in bed - I try to follow whatever is the "norm" for them * I have no problem taking dogs in my car to run errands (if they have separation issues) or to have variety at Spring Creek or other nearby walking areas. * For the senior loved ones: there is an enclosed flight of stairs to get into the house. Carrying pups up stairs is NOT an issue - I had an injured gal who was limping and I just picked her up to make it easier. (50-ish lbs)
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I’ve had all types of pets ranging from dogs and cats to horses and reptiles and have 15+ years of experience in pet sitting. I have extensive experience with horses and farm animals as well, through riding, competing, and training horses for most of my life. My 1.5-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog, Ruger, comes with me to any stays that I book. He is very well behaved and friendly with all animals. When I am not at your house (at work, errands, etc.), he goes back to stay at my house.
