About: I’m a Humane Society volunteer based in Steamboat Springs with experience caring for pets of all personalities and needs. After recently wrapping up my nannying role caring for my niece, I’m looking to provide loving, dependable pet care while building supplemental income. I bring patience, attention to detail, and a genuine love for helping animals feel safe and comfortable. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize pet care throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddles, I enjoy making space in my routine to give pets the attention and care they deserve. I care for pets like they’re my own—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick to their usual routines, give them plenty of attention and exercise, and always keep their space clean and calm. Whether I’m in your home or mine, their well-being is my top priority.

About: I have experience with small mammals, cats and dogs. I have administered medications to both cats and dogs. I have worked with elderly dogs needing extra care. I currently work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I can do drop-ins any time of the day. I can even work from your home if it makes it easier! We currently have 2 middle aged dogs. They are dog friendly and pretty big couch potatoes. They do not use a crate but I can accommodate a crate if that is what your dog needs.

About: Since I’m unable to have a pet of my own, pet sitting is something I truly enjoy! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I am very familiar with animal husbandry, as I grew up caring for livestock along with our family animals too. I currently work a very flexible schedule, especially in the summer time. I can take multiple breaks in my day to best accommodate your pets needs I am unable to offer pet sitting in my home at this time. About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my entire life. I also work remotely so I’m able to spend more time with the animals keeping them company. I work mostly remotely so I have a flexible schedule that allows me to spend more time with the animals. I’m able to give walks and potty breaks more regularly than if I had a “9-5” job. I enjoy watching dogs in their home environment so they’re more comfortable. I love walking dogs and will give them play time as needed depending on the individual dog. I really try to tailor the experience to the individual dog to keep the dog comfortable and happy ♥️

About: * Been taking care of friends' loved ones for decades * Ample, daily play-time is provided * Live near Rita Valentine so short or long hikes very accessible * My rules are your rules - whatever is needed to make things seamless for you and your pet so they are comfortable while you are away * I work from home and have a very flexible schedule * I'm able to walk dogs very regularly on whatever schedule they normally have * I live up the street from Yampa Core Trail and right by Rita Valentine so ample options to get them out and exercising * 15-45 minutes hikes are very easy to accommodate * My husband is retired so he is also home. He is a SUCKER for an offered belly so often his choosing to work out or doing any work around the house is ignored in favor of rubbing bellies! * I'm in a very quiet and dog-friendly neighborhood. * I have a nice side-yard but it is not fenced in. Dogs are never let out on their own. * Dogs are allowed on furniture and to sleep in bed - I try to follow whatever is the "norm" for them * I have no problem taking dogs in my car to run errands (if they have separation issues) or to have variety at Spring Creek or other nearby walking areas. * For the senior loved ones: there is an enclosed flight of stairs to get into the house. Carrying pups up stairs is NOT an issue - I had an injured gal who was limping and I just picked her up to make it easier. (50-ish lbs)

About: Hello Steamboat neighbors! I'm Maggie and I live locally and work remotely, making me a great candidate if you are going out of town and want someone to spend a lot of time with your dog (or cat)! Overnights or drop bys are both possible and I'm more than happy to take a dog on a long walk or run! I have over a decade of experience with cat and dog sitting (including taking care of my own cat, Manny). My preference is to start by meeting you and your animal for 30 minutes to see if it is a good fit for everyone and go from there! Thanks I work remotely in Steamboat and am available to drop by or walk before and after work as well as lunch time. My schedule is flexible! If you book overnight, I can work remotely from your home! I cannot watch dogs or cats at my own house as I have a cat who likes to be an only child! While caring for your animals, I will follow instructions on how your animal behaves with other anmials and how you like them to be exercised and cared for.

I do not care for pets in my home, but I am more than happy to travel to you to help care for your loved ones!

About: I've watched, walked, and groomed dog for a couple of years nope. I've got a pup of my own and have had such great experiences with Rover. Want to be able to give back to those who have helped me and my pup out as well! I can walk/watch most afternoons and evenings. My work schedule is very flexible and will be able to walk through lunch as well as at night. I am free all day on Fridays and Saturdays. I'm am very active and will be willing to take your dog on longer walks/runs. I am very attentive to dog behavior and very communicative if there is anything that needs to be touched on. I am available to do wellness checks as well as overnight sitting.

About: I’ve always loved watching dogs no matter the kind. I always dog sit for coworkers and friends. I love taking the dogs for long walks and hikes! I throughly enjoy spending them with your pups! I currently work full time Monday-Friday but have a dog friendly office and a flexible work schedule as far as leaving to let the dog out if needed. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and a dog park right down the street. I love taking the dogs to the park and playing catch or whatever they prefer!

About: I've taken care of dogs and horses all my life, and I am currently a horse rescue volunteer and feel there isn't a pet I can't handle. As an animal lover, I'll love on yours like my own and send you 5,000 pictures of them among the stunning Steamboat scapes along the core trail, where I love to take them on long healthy walks. Most importantly, I know what it's like to travel away from your pet and crave peace of mind that they are taken care of; that is my goal when they are in my care. I work from home with a freelancer schedule. I have two hands-on small dogs, so I am used to high-maintenance dogs and their constant care schedule. I have a home right near the core trail and a small backyard; I take long walks multiple times a day and think that’s one of the most important facets of pet care. I also know what it’s like to be away from your dogs and need peace of mind with your caregiver. I work from home so have an incredible amount of flexibility. We can plan your dogs’ specific routines together, but frequent breaks and play or walk time with your dog will become part of my schedule. I have two senior dogs and understand the exceptionally hands-on care they may require. I have grassy areas in my front and backyards, and also live minutes from the Core Trail.
