About: * Been taking care of friends' loved ones for decades * Ample, daily play-time is provided * Live near Rita Valentine so short or long hikes very accessible * My rules are your rules - whatever is needed to make things seamless for you and your pet so they are comfortable while you are away * I work from home and have a very flexible schedule * I'm able to walk dogs very regularly on whatever schedule they normally have * I live up the street from Yampa Core Trail and right by Rita Valentine so ample options to get them out and exercising * 15-45 minutes hikes are very easy to accommodate * My husband is retired so he is also home. He is a SUCKER for an offered belly so often his choosing to work out or doing any work around the house is ignored in favor of rubbing bellies! * I'm in a very quiet and dog-friendly neighborhood. * I have a nice side-yard but it is not fenced in. Dogs are never let out on their own. * Dogs are allowed on furniture and to sleep in bed - I try to follow whatever is the "norm" for them * I have no problem taking dogs in my car to run errands (if they have separation issues) or to have variety at Spring Creek or other nearby walking areas. * For the senior loved ones: there is an enclosed flight of stairs to get into the house. Carrying pups up stairs is NOT an issue - I had an injured gal who was limping and I just picked her up to make it easier. (50-ish lbs)

About: I have experience with small mammals, cats and dogs. I have administered medications to both cats and dogs. I have worked with elderly dogs needing extra care. I currently work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I can do drop-ins any time of the day. I can even work from your home if it makes it easier! We currently have 2 middle aged dogs. They are dog friendly and pretty big couch potatoes. They do not use a crate but I can accommodate a crate if that is what your dog needs.

About: I’ve always loved watching dogs no matter the kind. I always dog sit for coworkers and friends. I love taking the dogs for long walks and hikes! I throughly enjoy spending them with your pups! I currently work full time Monday-Friday but have a dog friendly office and a flexible work schedule as far as leaving to let the dog out if needed. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and a dog park right down the street. I love taking the dogs to the park and playing catch or whatever they prefer!

About: I’ve had dogs ever since I can remember in my family and recently got my very own Golden Ausiedoodle who just turned 1 year old! I have a dog of my own so pet care is part of my daily lifestyle, From playing fetch in the yard to taking my girl for walks on the beach! I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly and well trained 1 year old golden Ausiedoodle to keep your dog very thoroughly entertained!

About: Since I’m unable to have a pet of my own, pet sitting is something I truly enjoy! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I am very familiar with animal husbandry, as I grew up caring for livestock along with our family animals too. I currently work a very flexible schedule, especially in the summer time. I can take multiple breaks in my day to best accommodate your pets needs I am unable to offer pet sitting in my home at this time. I always treat your home as I would mine, and leave it better than I found it.

About: I've taken care of dogs and horses all my life, and I am currently a horse rescue volunteer and feel there isn't a pet I can't handle. As an animal lover, I'll love on yours like my own and send you 5,000 pictures of them among the stunning Steamboat scapes along the core trail, where I love to take them on long healthy walks. Most importantly, I know what it's like to travel away from your pet and crave peace of mind that they are taken care of; that is my goal when they are in my care. I work from home with a freelancer schedule. I have two hands-on small dogs, so I am used to high-maintenance dogs and their constant care schedule. I have a home right near the core trail and a small backyard; I take long walks multiple times a day and think that’s one of the most important facets of pet care. I also know what it’s like to be away from your dogs and need peace of mind with your caregiver. I work from home so have an incredible amount of flexibility. We can plan your dogs’ specific routines together, but frequent breaks and play or walk time with your dog will become part of my schedule. I have two senior dogs and understand the exceptionally hands-on care they may require. I have grassy areas in my front and backyards, and also live minutes from the Core Trail.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for friends, neighbors, and people in the community for the past couple of years. I have stayed at other peoples houses, let other dogs stay at my place, and have also done just some dog walking in the afternoons. I also worked at Beaver Brook Pet Center two summers ago where I took care of all the dogs boarding there and took them outside everyday, so I have experience with all different kinds and sizes of dogs! I’m currently working part-time this summer typically on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9-5, but I get an hour long lunch break at noon so I would be able to take the dogs out then if needed and would be able to take them out before and after work for a nice long walk! But I am very open on my weekends and at night for the summer! I love being outdoors, so if your dog likes long walks I would love to take them on hikes and long walks, and make sure they get enough outdoors time! I also make sure to feed the dogs at the same time everyday. I have experience and am comfortable giving any medications to your little ones if necessary as well! If your dog is friendly I also have a super sweet dog at home named Obi who can keep him company!

About: I've watched, walked, and groomed dog for a couple of years nope. I've got a pup of my own and have had such great experiences with Rover. Want to be able to give back to those who have helped me and my pup out as well! I can walk/watch most afternoons and evenings. My work schedule is very flexible and will be able to walk through lunch as well as at night. I am free all day on Fridays and Saturdays. I'm am very active and will be willing to take your dog on longer walks/runs. I am very attentive to dog behavior and very communicative if there is anything that needs to be touched on. I am available to do wellness checks as well as overnight sitting.

About: I have foster pet parents so I’ve never not been surrounded by animals. From golden retrievers to rottweilers to lovable mutts whose breeds still remain a mystery—I’ve had ‘em all :) I understand that every dog, like every person, has a unique personality and individual needs. I dog-sat through college for some extra cash until I got a dog of my own. I’d be delighted to get to know your fur baby! I’m brand new to Steamboat and extremely flexible at the moment. I will be Snowboard Instructing during the Winter so just need some money to get through the Fall! I make sure to puppy-proof all areas and create a clean and safe environment for your pet. I stack up on all necessary equipment (toys, food, snacks, medication, etc.) I will take the time to get to know your pup’s exercise schedule and accommodate accordingly.

I am a teacher so have the whole summer off to play! During the school year, my husband has a flexible schedule so between the two of us, we can take care of whatever your pet needs! About: I have experience in all things dog walking, training, crate training, bath time, feeding time, medicine distribution, playtime, socializing, house training, dog birthday parties, and specialized attention. I prioritize dogs health and walkies so I always get up in the cold mornings, feed them on time, take good walks, and take them to the park for socialization. I base my schedule around letting them out and giving them enough playtime to reduce boredom. My house is clear of any hazards and all cleaning supplies are put away. Since it’s not my pet, we will not be going off leash on walks.
