We met almost fifteen years ago while she was serving as training manager for a veterinary working dog center. Our family fostered a high energy pup whom was shy, fearful, and uncertain of strangers. Kai responded to Pat immediately- a testament to her compassionate care and incredible dedication to positive reinforcement. She allows dogs to feel loved, safe, and relaxed. Pat was instrumental in all aspects of developing Kai to become a highly effective dual purpose scent detection and search and rescue dog. Pat would often help us out by providing her time and home to watch Kai as well as others when we were away. We never had a worry or concern and always trusted that Kai was getting individualized attention and expert care. Pat is personable, flexible, and a wonderful resource of information. She is all about pursuing the human-animal bond at its highest level. I only wish we lived closer- Pat would absolutely be my go to for pet sitting and training. About: I’ve had pets since I was a young child. Growing up with pets taught me how to be responsible with them. Feeding them properly, taking them on walks, and making sure they are living a comfortable life are all important things. I’ve had cats and dogs, big and small, young and old. I’m very comfortable with any size age and breed (that includes Pitts and Rottweilers, I’ve had both) I’m a digital nomad, meaning I work from my laptop wherever I am. This allows me to have a fully open schedule for pet/house sitting. I do love traveling as well so there will be times I’m unavailable in my home city. I will follow any and all rules/requests you have for your fur babies. At home, my dogs have their own comfy bed but sometimes sleep in my bed with me. I’m open to letting your pets sleep with me but that decision will only be made after meeting them. If you prefer them in a crate overnight I will do that as well. Daily walks will also be a thing if you don’t have a large yard for us to play in.

About: I’ve been working with pets since I was 10 years old. I have extensive experience in caring for both dogs and cats. I promise to treat your fur babies with upmost care and respect. I have a very flexible work from home schedule. I’m always willing to accommodate and work with hosts as they please. I’m great with communication and following detailed instructions. I work great with all types and breeds of animals. I also am a very cleanly and organized person. I will always make sure your home is in clean and sanitized condition by the time you get back!

“We had recently moved to town and needed a cat sitter, we have an older (20 years) cat. Lauren was absolutely AMAZING! She was prompt in all of our communications. She let us know her schedule so we could leave town knowing our cat, Friday, was in good hands. She came 2x/day and gave Friday food and the attention he craves. About: I understand the stress our animals go through when we have to leave them behind for an extended time. I’m here to watch after them while your away so they can be happy in their familiar environment. I have four dogs myself and a pig. I previously had two stallion horses when I was younger and worked for the Cinderella carriage company in my youth. I am currently a NICU RN that is looking for a side job that is as fulfilling as caring for sick babies. I’m mostly a morning person but if you need me to drop in and check up on ur loved one I can. I have had horses, a pig and mostly dogs as my kiddos. My animals have a lot of freedom, no crates, free range food. But I think it’s because our home lends itself to being that way. I respect the crate and having boundaries and will carry on whatever routine you have for ur pet. Just let me know how I can give you peace of mind with your baby.
