About: mature caring love for all animals..I have always had dogs...two who I adopted at 7 yrs old....they were a wonderful and the best part of my life I am retired so have lots of flexibility...I can work with your schedule...available week ends .I am an early morning person as well and would be willing to do those walks for your dogs I can care for your pets in your home...as where I live does not allow dogs, cats etc. will travel to you to care for your pets

About: Since I’m unable to have a pet of my own, pet sitting is something I truly enjoy! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I am very familiar with animal husbandry, as I grew up caring for livestock along with our family animals too. I currently work a very flexible schedule, especially in the summer time. I can take multiple breaks in my day to best accommodate your pets needs I am unable to offer pet sitting in my home at this time. I always treat your home as I would mine, and leave it better than I found it.

About: I have experience with small mammals, cats and dogs. I have administered medications to both cats and dogs. I have worked with elderly dogs needing extra care. I currently work from home so my schedule is very flexible. I can do drop-ins any time of the day. I can even work from your home if it makes it easier! We currently have 2 middle aged dogs. They are dog friendly and pretty big couch potatoes. They do not use a crate but I can accommodate a crate if that is what your dog needs.

About: * Been taking care of friend's loved one for decades * Ample, daily play-time is provided * Live near Rita Valentine so short or long hikes very accessible * My rules are your rules - whatever is needed to make things seamless for you and your pet so they are comfortable while you are away * I work from home and have a very flexible schedule * I'm able to walk dogs very regularly on whatever schedule they normally have * I live up the street from Yampa Core Trail and right by Rita Valentine so ample options to get them out and exercising * 15-45 minutes hikes are very easy to accommodate * My husband is retired so he is also home. He is a SUCKER for an offered belly so often his choosing to work out or doing any work around the house is ignored in favor of rubbing bellies! * I'm in a very quiet and dog-friendly neighborhood. * I have a nice side-yard but it is not fenced in. Dogs are never let out on their own. * Dogs are allowed on furniture and to sleep in bed - I try to follow whatever is the "norm" for them * I have no problem taking dogs in my car to run errands (if they have separation issues) or to have variety at Spring Creek or other nearby walking areas. * For the senior loved ones: there is an enclosed flight of stairs to get into the house. Carrying pups up stairs is NOT an issue - I had an injured gal who was limping and I just picked her up to make it easier. (50-ish lbs)

About: I am an animal lover and will do anything in my power to ensure your furbaby is well-cared for and communication is clear and exceeds your expectations so you can ease your worries and take care of business or enjoy your vacation. I am available for drop in visits morning, throughout the day and at the end of the day. If your pet needs special attention let me know! If they are cat friendly they can stay at my place otherwise I can make arrangements to potentially stay at your place if your pet needs overnight care. About: I grew up with 2 amazing black labs that i helped feed, bathe and sometimes groomed. I used to walk dogs with my cousin around various neighborhoods and made sure they had everything they needed before i left. I’m available every day before 9am and after 3pm as well as all day on Mondays and Tuesdays. I am more than happy to try to accommodate most schedules. I can take them on as many walks as needed or to a park, if that’s okay with the owner and there is a very sweet cat that lives here. I will be sure to play with and take great care of your pets.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life (big and small, love em all!), and currently live in town with my senior rescue pup! I have experience with dogs with behavioral challenges and medical intricacies, and can commit to always treating your animal like one of my own. I love all the things Steamboat has to offer our animals— walks on the river, snowy hikes, time at the park, etc! I work from home, so I have somewhat flexible availability for drop-ins as well. If your pup gets along with others, I would happily host them at my house, or bring my pup to your place. I am happy to provide both pet sitting and house sitting references. About Me: I've lived in Steamboat since graduating college 4 years ago. Until this school year, I was an elementary school teacher. Now, I work for a local mental health nonprofit doing youth services. I love hiking, skiing, reading, cooking, and spending all the time I can with my own dog. I currently work at a local nonprofit, and am mostly working from home. I have some flexibility to determine my own hours, so am able to make mid-day walks and check-ins possible. I live in a highly dog friendly house, with a yard in the back. My own dog gets 3 good walks a day, and I am happy to provide this same service to your animal! I am a responsible, year-round Steamboat gal who will treat your pet like one of my own.
