About: Hi I’m Karissa! I’m a passionate pet lover and have been dog & cat sitting for many years, having at least 16 years of experience. I love being around animals of all types and can provide whatever care they may need from overnight stays to daily walks. I grew up around my family dogs and over the years have watched, walked, and cared for my neighbors and friends dogs when needed. I have been around and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I work full time, however I am able to accommodate walks, visits, or overnight stays with my work hours. I am typically available mornings as well as evenings. I understand that pets are not a one size fits all and with that being said, their needs may vary from one another. About: First, I live in Craig, but willing to try to make pickups work in Steamboat, meeting halfway or we travel for the gym often, so please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss. We have a large yard that is great for active dogs. There is always an adult in the house to watch/care for your pup, my mother in law lives with us, Mark is home often and we have 2 kids, ages 10 and 12. I enjoy being around dogs, and feel comfortable dealing with some simple behavior issues. I am very specific with my dog and willing to be as specific with yours if needed. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
