About: Since I’m unable to have a pet of my own, pet sitting is something I truly enjoy! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I am very familiar with animal husbandry, as I grew up caring for livestock along with our family animals too. I currently work a very flexible schedule, especially in the summer time. I can take multiple breaks in my day to best accommodate your pets needs I am unable to offer pet sitting in my home at this time. I always treat your home as I would mine, and leave it better than I found it.

About: Hello Steamboat neighbors! I'm Maggie and I live locally and work remotely, making me a great candidate if you are going out of town and want someone to spend a lot of time with your dog (or cat)! Overnights or drop bys are both possible and I'm more than happy to take a dog on a long walk or run! I have over a decade of experience with cat and dog sitting (including taking care of my own cat, Manny). My preference is to start by meeting you and your animal for 30 minutes to see if it is a good fit for everyone and go from there! Thanks I work remotely in Steamboat and am available to drop by or walk before and after work as well as lunch time. My schedule is flexible! If you book overnight, I can work remotely from your home! I cannot watch dogs or cats at my own house as I have a cat who likes to be an only child! While caring for your animals, I will follow instructions on how your animal behaves with other anmials and how you like them to be exercised and cared for.

About: * Been taking care of friend's loved one for decades * Ample, daily play-time is provided * Live near Rita Valentine so short or long hikes very accessible * My rules are your rules - whatever is needed to make things seamless for you and your pet so they are comfortable while you are away * I work from home and have a very flexible schedule * I'm able to walk dogs very regularly on whatever schedule they normally have * I live up the street from Yampa Core Trail and right by Rita Valentine so ample options to get them out and exercising * 15-45 minutes hikes are very easy to accommodate * My husband is retired so he is also home. He is a SUCKER for an offered belly so often his choosing to work out or doing any work around the house is ignored in favor of rubbing bellies! * I'm in a very quiet and dog-friendly neighborhood. * I have a nice side-yard but it is not fenced in. Dogs are never let out on their own. * Dogs are allowed on furniture and to sleep in bed - I try to follow whatever is the "norm" for them * I have no problem taking dogs in my car to run errands (if they have separation issues) or to have variety at Spring Creek or other nearby walking areas. * For the senior loved ones: there is an enclosed flight of stairs to get into the house. Carrying pups up stairs is NOT an issue - I had an injured gal who was limping and I just picked her up to make it easier. (50-ish lbs)

I know how important it is to have a sitter who will show your dogs love and affection while you are away, and I’m committed to making sure your pet feels cared for and attended to! I always make sure they get long walks, plenty of cuddles, and won’t be alone for long stretches of time. My schedule allows for flexibility during the day for potty breaks, and my mornings and evenings are fully available for long walks and meeting the needs of your pup. The timing of my 8-hours of work can be flexible through-out the day and can be adjusted based on your pet's needs. Mid-day walks/bathroom breaks can potentially be accommodated based on location and proximity to my work. NOTICE: UNAVAILABLE JUNE 7-28 I am very good at following instructions and ensuring that your pet's day-to-day needs are always met. I am responsible and clean, ensuring to always leave the space I occupy in a similar manner to how I found it. If there are any issues with the animal or home, I always contact the owner promptly and communicate clearly about the situation. For large animals and livestock, I perform a once over of the animals each morning and ensure to take note of anything abnormal physically or behaviorally.

About: Hi there! I love working with animals. I have a puppy of my own, and I also work for a dog service company in town so I have lots of experience with all sorts of temperament and personalities! About: First, I live in Craig, but willing to try to make pickups work in Steamboat, meeting halfway or we travel for the gym often, so please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss. We have a large yard that is great for active dogs. There is always an adult in the house to watch/care for your pup, my mother in law lives with us, Mark is home often and we have 2 kids, ages 10 and 12. I enjoy being around dogs, and feel comfortable dealing with some simple behavior issues. I am very specific with my dog and willing to be as specific with yours if needed. I am active and can give walks daily. Please don't hesitate to let me know if any special needs and I'll do my best to be accommodating. I am active lifestyle and so going on walks and waking up early are part of my normal process. I am willing to work with any situation as best I can. I maintain control of situations and always attentive to behaviors or signs of fear or aggression to make sure it is addressed before any issues arise. I used to train horses when I was younger so the patience and consistency is something I've grown up with towards animals.

About: mature caring love for all animals..I have always had dogs...two who I adopted at 7 yrs old....they were a wonderful and the best part of my life I am retired so have lots of flexibility...I can work with your schedule...available week ends .I am an early morning person as well and would be willing to do those walks for your dogs I can care for your pets in your home...as where I live does not allow dogs, cats etc. will travel to you to care for your pets

About: I grew up with 3 dogs and my father is a veterinarian so I have been taking care of dogs since I was a kid. Throughout high school and college I house sat often for family friends and my own family’s dogs. I now have my own dog who I love more than anything. I am a very active person who loves to bring my dog along on adventures and would be excited to add your dog to the fun:) I work part time as a nanny which is very flexible and allows me to swing home to check on doggies if i’m working for longer than the dog can be alone. I have experience watching doggies in my own home and in others home. l live next to great walking trails and a great park for fetch. My doggie would love to keep yours company but she can also be in her kennel if that makes any owners more comfortable.
