About: Having been a dog lover since childhood, I’ve always had dog sitting gigs for a side hustle. I also managed a professional boarding kennel for 5 years where I learned to care for pets of all sizes, personalities and needs. The great outdoors are my life, and I have grown into a passion hunting dogs, and have spent the last 4 years training my Labrador retriever. I have two dogs of my own, West, my four year old trusty hunting black Labrador, and Tilly a nine year old German Shepherd mix. I’m mostly available on weekends (Friday-Sunday), but depending on your dog’s daily needs, I can be flexible. I live in Oak Creek, but work in Steamboat Springs at a very dog friendly environment. I have extensive experience with horses and farm animals as well, through riding, competing, and training horses for most of my life. About: I grew up with dogs and have been taking care of friends dogs ever since I can remember. In my community I am often the first person called when it comes down to finding a trustworthy pet sitter. In addition, I have spent the last 5 years working with/ and babysitting kids with severe cognitive and physical disabilities. As a full time student I spend a lot of my time doing school work but, like dogs, need to get out and run around. About: Lots of experience with dogs in particular. Always enjoy time with them and I think they enjoy time with me. And our 2 girls are very welcoming and eager to have new friends visit. I work from home so having another mouth or 2 around to feed and a friend or 2 more to play with is never an issue. Yard is not fenced but pets will never be left outside unattended. However, I have a large deck that is fully enclosed so weather permitting the pets are free to enjoy the outside as they wish.

(unless otherwise directed) ~ Affection galore (one of the most important parts, and they will still be happy to go home to you. :) ~ Feeding schedule and types of food stuck to (a change in food is one of the things that can make pups most nervous). ~ A peaceful time and place to sleep. ~ And, play! (if so desired) ~ and pictures and videos for you, depending on whether the pups keep doing what they are doing while I break out my phone. HaHa! My dear Poco has crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge: April 29, 2024. She lived a very long a full life and I continue this work knowing she is still my “assistant”. I do sometimes have more than one sit at a time, so please specify if your pal(s) are amicable to making new furiends. My life is currently in transition. I am currently around quite often for your furpets' needs. I can also care for birds and small fuzzy creatures (hamsters, etc.) Making sure people's fur-children are safe is my number one priority. I take safety measures such as always checking leashes and harnesses are secure and tight enough so they won't slip out. I wrap the leash around my wrist in a way that will keep them secure even if they get startled. I check areas to make sure there are no tempting things to eat on walks or in any areas. I listen to pet "owners" regarding what they know about their "kids" and make sure to follow instructions.

Carrying pups up stairs is NOT an issue - I had an injured gal who was limping and I just picked her up to make it easier. (50-ish lbs)

About: I grew up with dogs and have been taking care of friends dogs ever since I can remember. In my community I am often the first person called when it comes down to finding a trustworthy pet sitter. In addition, I have spent the last 5 years working with/ and babysitting kids with severe cognitive and physical disabilities. As a full time student I spend a lot of my time doing school work but, like dogs, need to get out and run around. I get to spend my time outside, on walks, runs, and bikes in between classes and on the weekends. I live in an apartment with two other dog loving girls. I am more than happy to share my bed or floor with an interested pup. Although I don't have a yard, I live right across from a big soccer field and have access to the horse gulch trail system behind my apartment (which I frequently use). I am currently working as a plumber for my dad. I tend to have lots of leniency with work and can even bring a pup with me! My house is open to all cats and dogs and that includes the couch haha! I live outside of town in a house where dogs have lots of room to roam and even a pond! In my home the safety of all pets is very important :)
