“Lilly was amazing. She was quick to respond to messages. Sent plenty of photos, pictures and updates. She was willing to pickup and and was punctual with drop off. I highly recommend Lilly for dog sitting/boarding”

“Liah is absolutely wonderful!! She went above and beyond every step; not only for Gus, but for us as well. Great communication, sweet picture updates and space to let Gus find his happy place. Will absolutely book with Liah again!”

“Abby was absolutely wonderful as a sitter. My regular sitter was out of town and unavailable to take care of my dog but Abby was very quick to respond and setting up a meet and greet was super easy. She sent me plenty of updates throughout the five days I was away, and always messaged whenever she had a question regarding my dog's care. I went on my trip with full confidence that he would be well taken care of!”

“Jeannine took great care of my senior dog who required special medication and treatment during her stay while we were in Steamboat. Perfect place for her to nap and relax over the weekend!”

“Hadley was wonderful with my older pup. She sent photos of their walks together and noted my dogs quirky behaviors. I will definitely use her again if I come back into town.”

“Suzanne was a whole new level of wonderful! She made sure we were comfortable and gave us awesome updates throughout the stay. She took our girl on hikes and walks and made sure she was loved and taken care of. I am pretty sure our pup thought SHE was at the resort! Next time we're in Steamboat Suzanne will be our absolute go-to! :) Thank you so much Suzanne!!”

“Jessie did an amazing job boarding our dog for over two weeks during the holidays! Our dog made great friends with her Goldens. She gave us updates everyday. We'll be return customers for sure!”

“Chad was so incredible to our dog. He really let her become part of the family. He gave her delicious food, let her sleep with the family in the bed, took her on plenty of walks, sent a ton of updates. She was in heat and he handled the diapers and her need for love so well. I felt so assured that she was having a really good time, and when we got back to her she wasn’t anxious at all. This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on Rover. I can’t recommend him enough. He was super flexible and accommodating and overall, a really good person who gave our girl so much love and comfort.”

“Liah is amazing! Kona went with her immediately, which tells me she truly has a special connection with dogs. Communication throughout the day was excellent, and she was very flexible with pick-up time. I felt completely at ease knowing Kona was in such good hands. 100% recommended!”

“Elisabeth and Mike were incredible sitters for my 11 year old higher anxiety cattle dog mix pup, Hazel for a week while I was on a work trip to Steamboat Springs. I always struggle leaving her with new people but they very adamantly listened to all the needs I expressed about Hazel's care and as a result make it very easy to trust that I was leaving her in good care. One of my favorite things was that as a dog with separation anxiety, Hazel never had to be alone during doggy daycare! It was clear after the week that she was so loved and well cared for that she didn't want to go home! I'm so grateful for Elisabeth's trustability, reliability, communication, cute pictures, and catering Hazel's experience to her needs over the course of the week. I only wish I lived closer so Hazel could see them more often!”
“Chad was fantastic! They were super attentive to my pup and stayed in touch with quick updates the whole time. The large fenced-in yard was a huge hit, and I really appreciated how flexible they were with my schedule. It’s such a relief finding a sitter this reliable—we’ll definitely be back!”

“"I cannot recommend Mayra enough. She sent us photos and videos of our furry baby, which made our vacation so relaxing because we knew he was in great hands. Mayra was able to confirm our appointment within an hour of us needing someone to take care of our puppy. She was caring, and truly treated our dog like their own. Thank you for the amazing care!"”

We have a very loving home. Hank still enjoys playing with other dogs, even if he can't for very long! Hank was very instrumental in training Little Willie, A very sweet Terrier that became family! I work from home and only leave the house for short periods of time (no more than two hours). Dogs have 24 hour access to the yard which is pretty Houdini-proof! Hank used to climb the chain link fence! We have a fenced yard, dog door and plenty of comfy spots to nap! Hank loves company and will be a good buddy to your dog!
“Never been happier to leave my puppy anywhere! Suzi (and Bailey) are Coppers best friends and he wags his whole butt all the way up to the door and doesn't look back when i go to work. Thank youuu!!! ❤️ I am so thankful for you!.”

“This worked out great! Juanita was available on short notice, and very responsive, and we were able to keep our pup sheltered from the extreme daytime heat while we were camping in Steamboat. Very grateful that we had this last minute solution.”

“Liam did a fantastic job taking care of Bowie. I really like his calm, friendly demeanor which put my pup and me at ease. When I picked Bowie up I could tell he received a good amount of exercise, but wasn’t overstimulated or anxious. Liam was quick to respond to any questions I had and sent me a picture of Bowie during the day just to let me know he was doing well.”

About: Lots of experience with dogs in particular. Always enjoy time with them and I think they enjoy time with me. And our 2 girls are very welcoming and eager to have new friends visit. I work from home so having another mouth or 2 around to feed and a friend or 2 more to play with is never an issue. Yard is not fenced but pets will never be left outside unattended. However, I have a large deck that is fully enclosed so weather permitting the pets are free to enjoy the outside as they wish.

About: What your pup gets on a stay stay with them: ~ At least 2 walks a day. (unless otherwise directed) ~ Affection galore (one of the most important parts, and they will still be happy to go home to you. :) ~ Feeding schedule and types of food stuck to (a change in food is one of the things that can make pups most nervous). ~ A peaceful time and place to sleep. ~ And, play! (if so desired) ~ and pictures and videos for you, depending on whether the pups keep doing what they are doing while I break out my phone. HaHa! My dear Poco has crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge: April 29, 2024. She lived a very long a full life and I continue this work knowing she is still my “assistant”. I do sometimes have more than one sit at a time, so please specify if your pal(s) are amicable to making new furiends. My life is currently in transition. I am currently around quite often for your furpets' needs. I can also care for birds and small fuzzy creatures (hamsters, etc.) Making sure people's fur-children are safe is my number one priority. I take safety measures such as always checking leashes and harnesses are secure and tight enough so they won't slip out. I wrap the leash around my wrist in a way that will keep them secure even if they get startled. I check areas to make sure there are no tempting things to eat on walks or in any areas. I listen to pet "owners" regarding what they know about their "kids" and make sure to follow instructions.
About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life and enjoy taking them on fun walks or energetic hikes to keep them healthy and happy! Safety is my priority, and I focus on maintaining an enjoyable and positive environment for your pup.
“Liah was amazing , she came over and did a meet and greet with Violet and I. She was great with Violet. Always On time, asked questions. Felt extremely comfortable with her the first day we met. It’s hard being away from your 4 legged fur babies - Liah always made me feel and know that Violet was getting great care while I was away.”

I'm available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and am comfortable administering medications if your pet needs. I've cared for pets all my life and can promise to give your furry friends all the love while you're gone! I'm very flexible and can promise quick communication and scheduling! I'm currently working part-time with a very flexible schedule so I can adapt to what times you might need. I also am very quick to respond to any communication you send. I promise to watch your pups attentively and be sure to keep them occupied and take care of any needs they have from walking to medication!
About: I grew up on a small farm taking care of animals since I was 8 years old. We were continually taking in stray dogs and cats. I am currently working full time, and my days off will consist of my mostly weekends. All my work is client based so my time is typically whatever is available based on bookings. Caring for your pets will look like supervised play time, and will include plenty of love from my animal loving friends. Care in guest's home will be by following the rules and caring for the pet exactly as the pet parent requests.
About: I’ve grown up around almost every type of animal and have even helped my dog deliver her babies! I absolutely treat my animals better than I treat myself and would without a doubt do the same for any other animal too! I have some downtime between jobs at the moment and would love to fill it with some more furry friends! When I am back to work, I can absolutely continue to make pet care work if it’s a good fit. Always make sure they’re fed, played with/walked, and above all loved! I have experience with rowdy puppies and have way too much patience with animals and will always make sure they’re comfortable and safe in any situation.
“Amanda was really great with our giant dog Moose. She was early to meet us and took Moose out for a long walk and found a nice stream for him to cool down. Her communication was quick, and she was very professional. Thank you for helping us out on short notice.”

About: Hello, My name is Sage and I have a long history of taking care of dogs. I grew up with Samoyeds, Chows, Irish Wolfhounds, Catahoulas and Basenjis. My parents owned a small ranch in the mountains above Boulder, CO. I was raised as a ranch girl in the mountains and I learned how to take care of many different species of animals, such as chickens, dogs, horses, cows, parrots, cats, pigs and rabbits. After my upbringing on the ranch, I went to college and I worked seasonally for many years as a field biologist but was unable to have a dog of my own due to the uncertain nature of my work and a lot of time spent away from home. It wasn't until I met my husband seven years ago that I was able to have another dog in my life. I agreed to the first date with my husband only because he had a very beautiful blue merle Australian Shepherd named Rocky, who I fell in love with immediately. Rocky was eleven when I met him and was the best adventure buddy, but he slowed down two years later and passed away at 15. He was a funny combination of incredibly sweet and a bit snarky. He was quite specific about how he wanted to be touched, so he taught me a lot about boundaries and caring for an old dog. A year and a half ago my husband and I adopted Nelly, a very energetic red merle Australian Shepherd who is full of fun. She is my adventure side kick on ski outings, paddling trips, hikes and mountain bike rides. She is very smart and well trained, and we go everywhere together. We are looking for dog friends to accompany us on our outings since it is a fast way for Nelly to burn through some of her exuberant energy. Besides Australian Shepherds, I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes since I've been around many different breeds and mixes. Besides growing up with dogs, I spent a year in Seattle working in dog care on Rover and for a private trainer, so I got to spend time with all sorts of dogs. I have lived with two Cane Corsos (Italian Mastiffs), who taught me a lot about personal space and the body language of large dogs. I've also lived with Basenjis, a small and lively African breed (who have no personal space). So I'm familiar with the needs of small energetic dogs as well as lazy large dogs. Thank you for looking at my profile and for considering me to spend time with your dog! I am currently furlough from my fulltime job as a botanist and I'm spending a lot of time with my own dog, Nelly, and Australian Shepherd. We go on daily hikes, skis, or bike rides. Usually we do this mid-day to early evening. I'm looking to take another dog on our outings to help Nelly burn some of her puppy energy. I am skilled at reading dog's body language and trying to match my interactions with their needs. I give them space if they indicate they want it, and I will be affectionate with them is they show they like it. I am competent at caring for old dogs since I had one pass away in my life two years ago, and I can tailor activities to their energy levels. Same goes for dogs of different breeds and sizes.

“Liah is absolutely wonderful!! She went above and beyond every step; not only for Gus, but for us as well. Great communication, sweet picture updates and space to let Gus find his happy place. Will absolutely book with Liah again!”

About: Having been a dog lover since childhood, I’ve always had dog sitting gigs for a side hustle. I also managed a professional boarding kennel for 5 years where I learned to care for pets of all sizes, personalities and needs. The great outdoors are my life, and I have grown into a passion hunting dogs, and have spent the last 4 years training my Labrador retriever. I have two dogs of my own, West, my four year old trusty hunting black Labrador, and Tilly a nine year old German Shepherd mix. I’m mostly available on weekends (Friday-Sunday), but depending on your dog’s daily needs, I can be flexible. I live in Oak Creek, but work in Steamboat Springs at a very dog friendly environment. I ensure your pet gets the basic care they need, plus extra love, photos, and time outside. I am flexible on whether you want me to stay in your home, or in mine, again depending on the specific pet’s needs and location.

About: I have experience in all things dog walking, training, crate training, bath time, feeding time, medicine distribution, playtime, socializing, house training, dog birthday parties, and specialized attention. I prioritize dogs health and walkies so I always get up in the cold mornings, feed them on time, take good walks, and take them to the park for socialization. I base my schedule around letting them out and giving them enough playtime to reduce boredom. My house is clear of any hazards and all cleaning supplies are put away. Since it’s not my pet, we will not be going off leash on walks.
About: * Been taking care of friend's loved one for decades * Ample, daily play-time is provided * Live near Rita Valentine so short or long hikes very accessible * My rules are your rules - whatever is needed to make things seamless for you and your pet so they are comfortable while you are away * I work from home and have a very flexible schedule * I'm able to walk dogs very regularly on whatever schedule they normally have * I live up the street from Yampa Core Trail and right by Rita Valentine so ample options to get them out and exercising * 15-45 minutes hikes are very easy to accommodate * My husband is retired so he is also home. He is a SUCKER for an offered belly so often his choosing to work out or doing any work around the house is ignored in favor of rubbing bellies! * I'm in a very quiet and dog-friendly neighborhood. * I have a nice side-yard but it is not fenced in. Dogs are never let out on their own. * Dogs are allowed on furniture and to sleep in bed - I try to follow whatever is the "norm" for them * I have no problem taking dogs in my car to run errands (if they have separation issues) or to have variety at Spring Creek or other nearby walking areas. * For the senior loved ones: there is an enclosed flight of stairs to get into the house. Carrying pups up stairs is NOT an issue - I had an injured gal who was limping and I just picked her up to make it easier. (50-ish lbs)

“Suzannah did a spectacular job with our fuzzball while we were out of town for the week. Charlie (the fuzzball) has always been timid around new people and defensive around larger dogs. Suzannah gave him all the cuddles and tummy scratches Charlie needed to feel comfortable early on. By the second day, he was playing with the other dogs and begging her for attention just like he would with us. In fact, he seemed sad to be leaving at the end of his stay. Suzannah is 10/10 - I will be checking her availability first for our future sitting needs. Thanks Suzannah!!”
