About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets for years. My own dog Koi, a 5-year-old mixed breed, lives with us full-time and is great with other dogs, so your pup will have a built-in playmate. Koi and I go on daily walks together, rain or shine, so your dog will always get plenty of exercise and attention. I work from home, so there's almost always someone around to give your pup attention, bathroom breaks, and playtime throughout the day. Daily walks are already part of my routine with my dog Koi, so your pet will easily join in on that consistent schedule. I don't have a fenced yard, but have plenty of grass space right at home plus a park just a short walk away for extra playtime and exercise. My 5 yr old mixed breed dog, Koi, is friendly and great with other dogs and will keep your fur baby company. Koi lives in our house full-time, so guest dogs join an already calm, settled home environment. Since I work from home, your dog won't be left alone for long stretches. Weekends are quite active in our house, often including 8+ mile hikes or long lake days, so your pup will get plenty of outdoor adventure.
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was little, mostly house sitting and through my parents and sister's many different pets. I love training, walking, and cuddling with these empathetic creatures. I also have some experience in helping out at a dog boarding and day care facility in Steamboat Springs. I graduated December 2021 with my Outdoor Education AA and my Sustainability Studies BA from Colorado Mountain College. I then had the privilege to travel internationally and more locally for a year afterwards but the yampa valley curse sucked me back in! I now live in Steamboat full time. Last year I was unfortunately laid off from my position as Conservation Corps Program Manager at Rocky Mountain Youth Corps due to federal funding cuts. BUT lucky for you and your pets that does mean that I have more availability for walks and sitting! I am also working at Mary’s Mountain Cookies downtown. I can provide any environment that best suits your dog. I want them to feel safe and to stick with their routine while you are away. I prefer house sitting rather than drop ins with dogs that are not used to their owners being away for long periods of time. I will do my best to provide stability, basic needs, and of course lots of love, attention and cuddles! Aside from the occasional travels, outdoor adventures, and family visits, I am working almost full time at Mary’s Mountain Cookies downtown. I do have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and can check on pups during my breaks etc. I want your dog to be the most comfortable they can be while you are gone. I will try to stick to their normal routine and training as closely as possible and provide them lots of love and play time!

About: I love dogs and have had many of them, so I am excited to watch your dog! My entire family love to meet new dogs and make friends I work from home, and my son loves spending time with dogs when he is home in the evenings and weekends. I walk in the morning, afternoon, and evening, and feed on schedule. I take dogs out on leash and keep them in a secure, climate-controlled room when we must leave the house. I walk dogs at least 15 minutes every 4 hours.
About: I grew up on a farm and have taken care of all kinds of animals my entire life. I love animals, and will treat your pets with the same love and care as I do for my own (1 cat one dog, both good with other animals). I have raised multiple cats and dogs throughout my life. I am working full time during the week, 8-4 Monday-Friday. I work as a life enrichment coordinator at Casey's pond, where I actually bring my dog (and sometimes my cat!) to work and they get to spend time with residents. This job allows me a lot of flexibility, and I am able to come home every 2 hours. I am free every weekend, and overnight care is also possible with my schedule. I have a fenced in yard and an guest bedroom which your pet could stay in, we are also able to fit a crate in here. My pets are allowed on all the furniture. I have a well behaved 1.5 year old dog who would love nothing more than to show your dog (or cat) around our house, and a 13 year old cat who is absolutely oblivious to any other animals and just does her own thing. She dispensed ear meds for one of my cats for an ear infection and took time to play with them and gave updates about how they were eating and interacting with her. I have one cat that is fearful of anyone new, and after a few days, she was comfortable with Rose and played with a wand toy with her!! That was a huge step for this kitty!! She gave me peace of mind during my time away which was invaluable! I always struggle leaving her with new people but they very adamantly listened to all the needs I expressed about Hazel's care and as a result make it very easy to trust that I was leaving her in good care. One of my favorite things was that as a dog with separation anxiety, Hazel never had to be alone during doggy daycare! It was clear after the week that she was so loved and well cared for that she didn't want to go home! I'm so grateful for Elisabeth's trustability, reliability, communication, cute pictures, and catering Hazel's experience to her needs over the course of the week. About: What your pup gets on a stay stay with them: ~ At least 2 walks a day. (unless otherwise directed) ~ Affection galore (one of the most important parts, and they will still be happy to go home to you. :) ~ Feeding schedule and types of food stuck to (a change in food is one of the things that can make pups most nervous). ~ A peaceful time and place to sleep. ~ And, play! (if so desired) ~ and pictures and videos for you, depending on whether the pups keep doing what they are doing while I break out my phone. HaHa! My dear Poco has crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge: April 29, 2024. She lived a very long a full life and I continue this work knowing she is still my “assistant”. I do sometimes have more than one sit at a time, so please specify if your pal(s) are amicable to making new furiends. My life is currently in transition. I am currently around quite often for your furpets' needs. I can also care for birds and small fuzzy creatures (hamsters, etc.) Making sure people's fur-children are safe is my number one priority. I take safety measures such as always checking leashes and harnesses are secure and tight enough so they won't slip out. I wrap the leash around my wrist in a way that will keep them secure even if they get startled. I check areas to make sure there are no tempting things to eat on walks or in any areas. I listen to pet "owners" regarding what they know about their "kids" and make sure to follow instructions.

From cuddles to hikes and everything in between, I pride myself on tailoring my care to each individual pet's needs 😊 As an early riser, I am available for drop in visits/walks from 4 am through 10 pm. I'm Maggie and I live locally and work remotely, making me a great candidate if you are going out of town and want someone to spend a lot of time with your dog (or cat)! Overnights or drop bys are both possible and I'm more than happy to take a dog on a long walk or run! About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets for years. My own dog Koi, a 5-year-old mixed breed, lives with us full-time and is great with other dogs, so your pup will have a built-in playmate. Koi and I go on daily walks together, rain or shine, so your dog will always get plenty of exercise and attention. I work from home, so there's almost always someone around to give your pup attention, bathroom breaks, and playtime throughout the day. Daily walks are already part of my routine with my dog Koi, so your pet will easily join in on that consistent schedule. I don't have a fenced yard, but have plenty of grass space right at home plus a park just a short walk away for extra playtime and exercise. I can provide any environment that best suits your dog. I want them to feel safe and to stick with their routine while you are away. I prefer house sitting rather than drop ins with dogs that are not used to their owners being away for long periods of time. I will do my best to provide stability, basic needs, and of course lots of love, attention and cuddles! Aside from the occasional travels, outdoor adventures, and family visits, I am working almost full time at Mary’s Mountain Cookies downtown. I love animals, and will treat your pets with the same love and care as I do for my own (1 cat one dog, both good with other animals). I have raised multiple cats and dogs throughout my life. I am working full time during the week, 8-4 Monday-Friday. I work as a life enrichment coordinator at Casey's pond, where I actually bring my dog (and sometimes my cat!) to work and they get to spend time with residents.
