About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets for years. My own dog Koi, a 5-year-old mixed breed, lives with us full-time and is great with other dogs, so your pup will have a built-in playmate. Koi and I go on daily walks together, rain or shine, so your dog will always get plenty of exercise and attention. I work from home, so there's almost always someone around to give your pup attention, bathroom breaks, and playtime throughout the day. Daily walks are already part of my routine with my dog Koi, so your pet will easily join in on that consistent schedule. I don't have a fenced yard, but have plenty of grass space right at home plus a park just a short walk away for extra playtime and exercise. My 5 yr old mixed breed dog, Koi, is friendly and great with other dogs and will keep your fur baby company. About: I love being outside and am very active so your pet will get lots of exercise. I’m also patient and willing to work with shy or stubborn cats and dogs. I’m a behavior analyst so I have a preliminary understanding of how to discourage inappropriate behaviors. I work part time in person downtown Steamboat, and part time telehealth so I am home a lot. In addition to myself, my boyfriend is home in the evenings. We have two dogs in the home (1 year and 2 years, both fixed and friendly!). I believe that pets need to be mentally stimulated so in my own home, we have lots of toys for animals to play with. I’m also very active and if your pet is up for it, love going on long walks and to the dog park. I love animals, and will treat your pets with the same love and care as I do for my own (1 cat one dog, both good with other animals). I have raised multiple cats and dogs throughout my life. I am working full time during the week, 8-4 Monday-Friday. I work as a life enrichment coordinator at Casey's pond, where I actually bring my dog (and sometimes my cat!) to work and they get to spend time with residents. This job allows me a lot of flexibility, and I am able to come home every 2 hours. I am free every weekend, and overnight care is also possible with my schedule. I have a fenced in yard and an guest bedroom which your pet could stay in, we are also able to fit a crate in here. My pets are allowed on all the furniture. About: What your pup gets on a stay stay with them: ~ At least 2 walks a day. (unless otherwise directed) ~ Affection galore (one of the most important parts, and they will still be happy to go home to you. :) ~ Feeding schedule and types of food stuck to (a change in food is one of the things that can make pups most nervous). ~ A peaceful time and place to sleep. ~ And, play! (if so desired) ~ and pictures and videos for you, depending on whether the pups keep doing what they are doing while I break out my phone. HaHa! My dear Poco has crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge: April 29, 2024. She lived a very long a full life and I continue this work knowing she is still my “assistant”. I do sometimes have more than one sit at a time, so please specify if your pal(s) are amicable to making new furiends. I am around quite often for your pet’s needs. I wake, walk and feed us all and then do some of my own work. I make sure to play, pet and cuddle thoroughout the day. I am also well versed at care for birds and small fuzzy creatures (hamsters, etc.) Making sure people's fur-children are safe is my number one priority. I take safety measures such as always checking leashes and harnesses are secure and tight enough so they won't slip out. I wrap the leash around my wrist in a way that will keep them secure even if they get startled. I check areas to make sure there are no tempting things to eat on walks or in any areas. I listen to pet "owners" regarding what they know about their "kids" and make sure to follow instructions.

Overnights or drop bys are both possible and I'm more than happy to take a dog on a long walk or run! I believe that pets need to be mentally stimulated so in my own home, we have lots of toys for animals to play with. I’m also very active and if your pet is up for it, love going on long walks and to the dog park. When I’m in someone else’s home providing care, I’m more than willing to give lots of cuddles and play time as needed or whatever you request!

Locally, I have house/dog sat for a couple of families and am always happy and eager to help out and have had very positive experiences. I feel comfortable around animals, large or small, cat or dog. About: I grew up on a farm and have taken care of all kinds of animals my entire life. I love animals, and will treat your pets with the same love and care as I do for my own (1 cat one dog, both good with other animals). I have raised multiple cats and dogs throughout my life. I am working full time during the week, 8-4 Monday-Friday. I work as a life enrichment coordinator at Casey's pond, where I actually bring my dog (and sometimes my cat!) to work and they get to spend time with residents. This job allows me a lot of flexibility, and I am able to come home every 2 hours. I am free every weekend, and overnight care is also possible with my schedule. I have a fenced in yard and an guest bedroom which your pet could stay in, we are also able to fit a crate in here. My pets are allowed on all the furniture. I have a well behaved 1.5 year old dog who would love nothing more than to show your dog (or cat) around our house, and a 13 year old cat who is absolutely oblivious to any other animals and just does her own thing. I love spending time outside and will play with / walk your dogs if desired!
