About: Since I’m unable to have a pet of my own, pet sitting is something I truly enjoy! I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a kid. I am very familiar with animal husbandry, as I grew up caring for livestock along with our family animals too. I currently work a very flexible schedule, especially in the summer time. I can take multiple breaks in my day to best accommodate your pets needs I am unable to offer pet sitting in my home at this time. I always treat your home as I would mine, and leave it better than I found it.

About: I am a responsible, hard-working young adult with a work schedule that can be adjusted to accommodate your furry-friend's needs. I have owned pets my entire life, and have been pet-sitting for family, friends, and neighbors since I was a kid. Additionally, I have a decade of experience working with horses and in/around farms. I am available for early morning walks, potty breaks, feedings, etc., as well as afterwork exercise. The timing of my 8-hours of work can be flexible through-out the day and can be adjusted based on your pet's needs. Mid-day walks/bathroom breaks can potentially be accommodated based on location and proximity to my work. NOTICE: UNAVAILABLE JUNE 7-28 I am very good at following instructions and ensuring that your pet's day-to-day needs are always met. I am responsible and clean, ensuring to always leave the space I occupy in a similar manner to how I found it. If there are any issues with the animal or home, I always contact the owner promptly and communicate clearly about the situation. For large animals and livestock, I perform a once over of the animals each morning and ensure to take note of anything abnormal physically or behaviorally.

About: I have been caring for pups since childhood and have a true passion for animals. Dog sitting was my first means of income as a child with my neighbors (and parents) allowing me to care for their dogs into my home while also growing up with a number of dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and rodents. He is a SUCKER for an offered belly so often his choosing to work out or doing any work around the house is ignored in favor of rubbing bellies! * I'm in a very quiet and dog-friendly neighborhood. * I have a nice side-yard but it is not fenced in. Dogs are never let out on their own. * Dogs are allowed on furniture and to sleep in bed - I try to follow whatever is the "norm" for them * I have no problem taking dogs in my car to run errands (if they have separation issues) or to have variety at Spring Creek or other nearby walking areas. * For the senior loved ones: there is an enclosed flight of stairs to get into the house. Carrying pups up stairs is NOT an issue - I had an injured gal who was limping and I just picked her up to make it easier. (50-ish lbs)

About: I grew up with 2 amazing black labs that i helped feed, bathe and sometimes groomed. I used to walk dogs with my cousin around various neighborhoods and made sure they had everything they needed before i left. I’m available every day before 9am and after 3pm as well as all day on Mondays and Tuesdays. I am more than happy to try to accommodate most schedules. I can take them on as many walks as needed or to a park, if that’s okay with the owner and there is a very sweet cat that lives here. I will be sure to play with and take great care of your pets.

About: I have been watching dogs through rover for the past 5 years. My family has always had dogs. I have walked and dog sat for neighbors, coworkers, rover clients and have stayed overnight in numerous households for dog owners away. I recently moved back to Traverse City and currently have a very flexible schedule. I love to go for daily walks or trail runs and am always happy to have a furry friend with me! I love to give the dogs I’m caring for as much attention as possible. I am very active and love to go on long walks, hikes or bring dogs to the beach. For those that aren’t as active, I am also happy to hang out in their company, cuddled up with them and a good book or a movie.

About: Hello Steamboat neighbors! I'm Maggie and I live locally and work remotely, making me a great candidate if you are going out of town and want someone to spend a lot of time with your dog (or cat)! Overnights or drop bys are both possible and I'm more than happy to take a dog on a long walk or run! I have over a decade of experience with cat and dog sitting (including taking care of my own cat, Manny). My preference is to start by meeting you and your animal for 30 minutes to see if it is a good fit for everyone and go from there! Thanks I work remotely in Steamboat and am available to drop by or walk before and after work as well as lunch time. My schedule is flexible! If you book overnight, I can work remotely from your home! I cannot watch dogs or cats at my own house as I have a cat who likes to be an only child! While caring for your animals, I will follow instructions on how your animal behaves with other anmials and how you like them to be exercised and cared for.
