About: First, I live in Craig, but willing to try to make pickups work in Steamboat, meeting halfway or we travel for the gym often, so please don't hesitate to reach out to discuss. We have a large yard that is great for active dogs. There is always an adult in the house to watch/care for your pup, my mother in law lives with us, Mark is home often and we have 2 kids, ages 10 and 12. I enjoy being around dogs, and feel comfortable dealing with some simple behavior issues. I am very specific with my dog and willing to be as specific with yours if needed. I am active and can give walks daily. Please don't hesitate to let me know if any special needs and I'll do my best to be accommodating. I am active lifestyle and so going on walks and waking up early are part of my normal process. I am willing to work with any situation as best I can. I maintain control of situations and always attentive to behaviors or signs of fear or aggression to make sure it is addressed before any issues arise. I used to train horses when I was younger so the patience and consistency is something I've grown up with towards animals.

About: I have been caring for pups since childhood and have a true passion for animals. Dog sitting was my first means of income as a child with my neighbors (and parents) allowing me to care for their dogs into my home while also growing up with a number of dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and rodents. My love for animals has only grown and for the first time in my life I have no pets of my own. For that reason, Rover is the perfect opportunity for me to spend time where my heart is and surround myself with what I love while also helping others. I have a great deal of experience training puppies as well as handling dogs with behavioral issues. Look forward to hearing from you! I am available to provide frequent care every day of the week. I work 4-6 hour shifts 3-4 days per week and love playing with pups the rest of my free time. Let me know your needs and I can work with you! About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals, and while I haven’t had a dog of my own, I’ve volunteered at the Humane Society and take pet care seriously. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize pet care throughout the day. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or cuddles, I enjoy making space in my routine to give pets the attention and care they deserve. I care for pets like they’re my own—making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick to their usual routines, give them plenty of attention and exercise, and always keep their space clean and calm. Whether I’m in your home or mine, their well-being is my top priority.

About: I grew up with a lot of dogs and cats. I have always loved playing with them and taking them on walks. I have spent time at a dog rescue walking dogs and cleaning their kennels. Right now I am working part time as a gardener. I have Monday and Friday and the weekend available. I will also have evenings after 4 available. I have a nice apartment, that has a court yard for your dog to run around in. I have two very friendly cats as well.

About: I will treat your pup with the love and detail I treat my own. Grew up with dogs and currently have a 8 year old field golden retriever named Thule. I have 10 years of experience working with dogs professionally, including volunteer work with Midwest Animal Resue and Services on the Receiving and Adoption team. I also own and operate a dog care business locally, Steamboat Pets, and serve as Board Vice President of the Routt County Humane Society. I’m insured and certified in dog CPR/First Aid. Dog care is my life, literally! I quit my corporate job of 13 years to care for dogs in the Steamboat Springs and surrounding communities. I will take your lead on what your dog needs - you know best! I will also have back up supplies, especially when staying overnight or going out on long hikes.

About: I've done overnight house stays for several families in the Yampa Valley this year. Longest stay was 10 days. I love getting to know the dogs in the Valley and getting to go on great walks with them. I provide quality pet care and can provide references. When doing overnight house stays, on weekdays, I feed and walk the dogs before I go to work (I start work at 8am), and then after I get off work I come home to feed and walk them again. On weekends it is much easier, and I have all day to walk and feed them. I treat the pets with total respect and love. If the pets require any specific medication I can certainly administer it to them in their food.

About: Over my lifetime I have personally cared/owned 4 dogs and 3 cats. I have additionally done pet care for friends and family. I have experience with all dog sizes. My expectations of sitting include but are not limited too, keeping your pet active, keeping a normal feeding schedule, and giving out lots of pets. Currently, I am newly graduated and in between the start time of my career. I am a free agent that’s openly available as long as there is clear communication. Any animal I look after, I care for them as if they are my own. Bathroom breaks, walks, activities, and feeding routines will be continued as if you never left.
